Stayed 2 nights in June 2013
Spacious room uncomfortable bed”
very large room, wifi internet, antique furniture
The stay at this family run accommodation was reasonably pleasant. Very large suite with "antique" furniture and wifi. Breakfast was not included but for the 4 euros per person well worth the additional cost. The thick old stone walls made the room cool even on a hot summer day. On the downside, the double bed was old and seemed to comprise two beds put together with an uncomfortable wooden board down the center.when i first saw the rough linen cover on the douvet i thought it would be uncomfortable. it was not until i got into bed when i realised that the rough towelling sheet that rasped against your legs was worse. we slipped the linen cover off one of the douvets and placed that on the mattress asit was a bit more comfortable. check-out is at 10am. we asked if we could check outan hour later as our train was at midday and were flatly told no. German language skills needed as the owners don't speak english. we were asked to sign a piece of paper in sloval when leaving. we do not know what this was for.
