Ronnie and his family go out of their way to be kind and assist where possible. ”
This bungalow is at the far end of Praslin so best get what you need before settling in. Bus stop is however right at your front door, so if you don’t mind waiting a bit, catch a bus to the shops. Beautiful beaches and trails nearby. Peaceful and quiet. We were safe. Budget overnight accommodation, but could easily have stayed another day or two.

calm, nice place”
We were here in december 2017 for one week. We were the only guests at that time. the breakfast was Continental (enough Toast, Jam, Egg, sausage, fresh fruits, Tea, Juice) Dinner was available up to 250 Rupees (15€+). next to the busstation, near Anse Lazio and Anse boudin. a little Supermarket was very near as well. the owners are very kind, helpful and also attentive. the room was cleaned every day and the towels changed as well. we had a car hired during our stay and there was a parking space for it. we would definitely recommend this nice hostel.

Great stay, one of our best!!”
Leo and his family were really helpful with everything. Leo can organize you everything you will ask. For example, we didnt ask for transport from the airport and pay a lot more to the taxi driver, on tbe bus you cant go with luggage. Leo would do that for resonable price. He also organized an excursion for us in Curious Island and St. Pierre, it is must see. The location was perfect for us, if you dont like croudy all the time you will like it. It is a lot of nature, nice local people, close to the store and also to Anse Boudin beach, very good place for snorkel, it is 2min away. And you will see the best sunrises in Anse Boudin beach. You see every day many buses full with tourists to see Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and this beach is just in front of you, short walk, up and down the hill. I think i even cant describe everything with the words, Leo and family is a must in Praslin 😍 If we will ever come back, we will stay at his Villa Manoir, for sure!!!

Good Location”
The location is amazing to visit anse Lazio, anse boudin and go on a hike to anse Georgette. The villa is old but charming. The hosts are friendly, especially the son Rony who offered to take us to some places with him. Dinner there is completely overpriced so I suggest not to eat there. The shower does not work well (no pressure at all) so it was very hard/impossible to wash girls' hair. Overall ok but not amazing.

Simple Place in a great location ”
Room with kitchen was decent but a bit old-fashioned. The best part of my stay was the friendly owners who run the business and the great location 10 minutes walk from Anse Lazio, making it easy to stay until sunset. One more improvement area: Breakfast could also be a bit more varied.

Great Accommodation, Welcoming Family”
Wish we had more time here to take advantage of the self catering space, but Villa Manoir was lovely! About a 5 minute walk from Anse Boudin for sunrises, and a 20 minute walk from Anse Lazio - a great beach for sunsets and general enjoyment - the accommodation was quite convenient, particularly for access to the latter; you can spend a bit more time at Anse Lazio than visitors using the bus (the last one runs around 530/6) because you can walk there and back. Ronnie is the Chef and took care of us for breakfasts, which were generous and delicious! If you ask him, he will also cook you a wonderful creole dinner for a small cost - very worth it! Overall a wonderful experience and great value for the price - the family at Villa Manoir was very helpful and kind, we appreciated the hospitality and warmth!

Perfect location to Anse Lazio, HOSPITALITY”
Location, hospitality, helpful family
You cannot ask impossible! We wanted to go to Cousin Island, but the travel agencies usually organize 3 island trips, so we asked Ronnie and his father to help. They find a captain who took us to the island by his boat for a really cheap fee (35 EUR pp). Villa Manoir is close to the best beaches on Praslin (Anse Lazio and Georgette, Anse Boudin), the bus stop is in front of the house, so you do not have to rent a car if you spen more days on the island and you are not in a hurry. An English couple is spending 3 months here, so they know what I mean :)

Good budget accommodation near Anse Lazio”
A family owned business, very peaceful and great fish and chips
If you are looking for 5 star luxury this is not the place to go, but the location is great for Anse Lazio, the family are lovely but not pushy. We had Fried Red Snapper with chips and salad, it was so good we had it the next night. It is a 10 - 15 min walk over the hill to Anse Lazio and it is so easy and cheap to get the bus to the rest of the island to explore. Valle du Mai is worth a visit. You can't get a bus with luggage but the family will arrange transport for a fair price. Thanks to Ronnie the chef

Ccomfortable but simple”
Breakfast included, AC and clean
It was a little out of the way with no water views but is was close to Anse Lasio ( top ten beaches in the world [As an Aussie I think it is OVER RATED!!]), but worth a visit. The Vallee de Mai was also easy access on the Rupee 5 local bus and it was fantastic - a must see. We had a more than adequate breakfast every day but dinner was a bit tricky due to its location. Nice walks locally. The staff were good with their local advice. Room was very clean and serviced daily, bathroom adequate but our room had 3 very steep stairs to the private bathroom from the bedroom (caution if older traveller). Would stay there again but if we were better planned (informed) we would stay on La Digue and do a day trip to Pralin and not stay at on this island.

The best location for Anse Lazio”
Close to Anse Lazio and bus stop, friendly staff, cleanliness
Villa Manoir is a very good choice for backpackers. Its location is perfect fot those who want to spend as much time as possible at Anse Lazio (probably the most beautiful beach on the planet). Me and my wife spent there 4 nights. It is maybe not a design boutique hostel (late '90s style), but it has everything what you need (bath, comfortable bed, properly working air conditioning, well equipped kitchen annex...). The room was kept very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly (we got a lift to the grocery, Roni gave us a wodden fish for souvenir). Weak points of Villa Manoir: 1) Food at the restaurant (run by the owners of the Villa) was not really special. 2) The breakfast (included in price) was quite monotonous and quite light. Strong points: 1) Perfect location (nearest to Anse Lazio beach), next to the bus stop; 2) Clean and comfortable room with AC; 3) Quiet place; 4) Friendly and helpful Staff; 5) Good value for money. We recommend Villa Manoir for couples (budget travellers, backpackers). Marzena Nowicka & Tomasz Nowicki
