Expected comfort delivered every time”
I stayed here more than several days and the experience is generally consistent. Surprisingly, the beds are not that hard. you can snuggle up in them and get comfortable after a long day of traveling. I have slept on other beds in hostels that felt like sleeping on a cardboard box. It's not like that here. Complimentary hair dryers, shampoo, and soap are all available, which is perfect for travelers like myself. There was a time I came to the hotel, feet throbbing with pain from walking around Kuala Lumpur after getting lost. My forehead was dripping with sweat. Trust me, that hygiene stuff comes in handy. Another benefit is the breakfast in the morning from 8:00am to about 9:30am. They also have breakfast during Ramadan from 4:30am to about 6am for Muslims to eat something before the sun rises. There were times when I did not have any money for the day and that breakfast came in handy. The breakfast consists of coffee, bread, jelly, spread, and recently added peanut butter. Good stuff

I've been coming here off and on for the last 3 months and plan to stay long-term in the future if I come back to Malaysia. I just want to say the staff here are professional and will do everything they can to make everyone's stay comfortable. These pros and cons are just my personal preferences. Pros Great internet connection. Large lockers. Free soap and shampoo that clean well. Clean sheets, clean floor, shower shoes available on request. Staff does a great job rectifying problems. Clean drinking water; hot and cold. Cool location. Soundproof; street noise does not come into the hotel. Exceptional price; various online payments accepted. Cons Breakfast could be a bit better. Basic, but the peanut butter is a nice addition. Good enough for the price you pay. Compact capsule; you will bump the walls a bit if you jostle too much. Different untouched areas of the bathrooms could be cleaned with bleach. Every capsule does not have hanger hooks. Bed padding should be washed too.

Great area with taxicabs in front, food stalls everywhere, clothing and souvenirs shops. Street parties, and it seems more people come out at night over here. Never felt unsafe. Manager Kenny always ensures safety, looking out for guests' well-being. Also, cameras everywhere. I stayed for over a month spanning across 3 months. I always seem to return because of the great price on agoda and variety payment options like PayPal for quality. Bathrooms are clean with rainfall showerheads that get hot. Housekeeping sweeps and mop the floors everyday. Linens and pillow cases are always white, curtains for privacy. Towels are given upon arrival. WI-Fi is strong; periodically I get slow speeds, especially when a lot of people using. However, great reliability for digital nomads like myself. I like this place because it is the best quality you will get for the price. Other cheap hotels in the area are moldy, bed bugs, and just disgusting. This place is very clean.

Has basic amenities for digital nomads”
WIFi: Excellent. Can stream videos with ease. Slow speeds on the weekends when there are more people staying there. Cleanliness: Mop and sweep the walking areas every day. Clean drinking water: Has cold water, but for some reason its normally at room temperature at certain times of the day, but cold in the mornings around breakfast time. Has hot water for your noodles and coffee. Bathrooms: Have rainfall showerheads in the ceiling and a spray shower nozzel. Also a sprayer next to the toilet after taking a number 2. Shampoo and soap dispensers. However, before I left I noticed they were in mixed containers. The soap was in the container marked shampoo and the shampoo was in the container marked soap. Maybe they changed it. The soap is pink and the shampoo is usually green or white gel. Hair dryer there. Comfort: Beds are not too hard or too soft. Blankets are nice, thick, and comfortable. Towels are given for free; no deposit. However, capsules can feel claustrophobic at times.

A consistent experience through the months”
I left 21 capsule earlier in the month to stay at a few cheaper places in the area. My three month Malaysian visa ends next month and I was seriously considering spending the rest of my time here. I know exactly what I'm getting with 21 hotel because of the consistency. There are no surprises. Its funny how you can get comfortable staying here long term without even knowing. Unlike other places where you start to feel sick after breathing in moldy air, this hotel is clean and comfortable. I have, however, left 12 capsule for a couple of weeks because I got tired of the monotony, but quickly regretted that decision. When I returned, I saw a couple of people who were still here! I was talking loudly on my computer and the night receptionist respectfully asked me to keep it down, which I completely understand because people are sleeping. The staff truly cares about everyone having a quality experience and try to come to a reasonable solution for everyone. I respect that.

Pros: 1. Friendly staff. The Malaysian guy who assisted us during check in and check out was very friendly. He had this genuine smile that can make you feel welcome. 2. Location is great. Close to MRT Bukit Bintang. There are lots of food choices in the area. You can walk towards KL Tower from here. 3. It’s cheap but a great hostel. Will stay here if I’ll go back to Malaysia. Me and my friend love this hostel. 4. There’s a lady who cleans the hostel every morning so cleanliness is maintained. Cons: 1. Since it’s located in Bukit Bintang, it can get noisy sometimes.

I don't usually write reviews but I'm making an exemption for this hostel. We stayed here for 3 nights and our experience was great. The hostel staffs were very friendly and accommodating. The beds and towels were clean. There's a cleaning lady who cleans the restrooms and rooms every morning. The breakfast was also good plus this hostel was located in Bukit Bintang where you can find almost all the good stuffs in Kuala Lumpur. It's also close to MRT Bukit Bintang. Restaurants were also everywhere. And there's a money changer downstairs of this hostel.

A good balance of everything”
Hotels in Kuala Lumpur is a bit more expensive than in Thailand, especially in an active area like Bukit Bintang. Usually cheap hotels like this have yellow-stained sheets, but the linens are always white here. Another thing I noticed is how they regulate the air conditioner. Sometimes they turn it off for a bit and turn it back on to regulate the room temperature so everyone can stay comfortable. If its too cold, people would freeze and too hot people would sweat. If you stayed here long term, like I have, then you can get your linens cleaned upon request and get a towel replacement that way your body is wrapped in clean bedding always.

In japan, many business guys would party during the weekend or stay late at the offices and instead of driving home impaired they would spend a night in a cheap capsule hotel to keep from getting on the roads. After visiting the bukit bintang area and having fun there, this hotel is a good place to cozy up for the night. Breakfast is bread that you can pop in the toaster, spread or butter, jelly and jam, and coffee. But now there is a new addition and that is the crunchy peanut butter. Pretty good. I personally like buying the sardine spread across the street at the kk supermarket and putting it on the toast with the spread, pretty good! During Ramadan, breakfast is earlier. One Con is that it can get a bit warm in the capsule when the curtains are closed, so i would have to open it just to get some air during certain times of the day.

Not only a nice hostel, but in a good location as well”
Not only is this a good hostel, but the location is awesome. Right down the street is the Petaling Food Market. I'll be honest, I don't particularly like Malaysian food so seeing the Cambodian, Chinese, and Thai food options in this area is awesome. Also, I had a family member send me some money and was abler to go downstairs next door to Western Union to pick it up. There is an electronics mall down the street selling cameras, laptop, repair services, etc. So, the moment you leave the hotel, you don't need to take a cab or a bus, everything you need is in the immediate area. The area also gets live at night, especially on the weekends. Great place to kick back and sleep for the weekend.

Staff works hard to solve problems”
After I left my other review I was reflecting on the good times I had here and I would have to say the staff does everything they can resolve problems. First, if you want to change your sheets the housekeeping guy would have no problem doing it. In my case, he moved me to a whole new cubicle with fresh linens and they took care of transferring my information. One time I booked on Agoda by accident and wanted to use another payment method. Kenny took care of everything and went the extra mile to get my reservation canceled without me having to pay a fee. He also gives good suggestions on how I can save money in general, which I really appreciate. It feels like family to a certain degree. I dont know why, but I feel close with these people.

A convenient way to book”
Because I had an unstable payment schedule, I was forced to create bookings daily. Luckily, the paypal made it easier. After a couple of days of doing this, I did not I have to continually go to the front desk and go through the process of getting my receipt. I come to know these people and they come to know me; they knew my name and I knew theirs. Therefore, they knew that when my booking came through in the computers they knew who it was for. this made things a lot easier, especially when I stayed up all night and went to sleep around 6am and waking up around 2pm, which is past the checkout time. I didn't have to worry about scattering to create another booking. I appreciate the convenience, which is always a great thing when staying somewhere. 10/10.

Pros 1. Value for money 2. They clean and check the bathroom all the time 3. Secured 4. Breakfast (jams, butter, bread, coffee) simple but delicious 5. With water dispenser 6. Clean capsule even the mattress and pillows 7. They provide towels for free 8. Safe and secured especially for women, they separate men from women. Men are not allowed to stay at women's corner even staying together at one capsule if you are couple. 9. They check the status of all the guests. 10. Staffs will always welcome you with a smile, very friendly and responsive 11. Very Accessible to most transportation (MRT, Monorail, bus stops) 12. Within central area. Near malls, tourist spots, food centers (jalan alor, night life, etc. 13. Capsules have curtains. With universal outlet. any type of socket can do. 14. 2 luggage lockers 15. Not noisy. staffs will remind you to lessen the noise when talking. 16. 24 hrs airconditioning Cons 1. Not too cold inside the capsule maybe it is because of the curtain blocking the cold from the aircon.

Good place for solo travellers”
Because it's a capsule hotel, each bed are separated so feels like more private than normal hostels. Staffs are very friendly and the facility is clean. I was supposed to stay only 2-3 nights but eventually, I extended and stayed about a week. I'd really love to stay here again when I come back to KL. Thank you very much.

Active place with lots of people from all walks of life”
You'll meet everybody here. I like staying at this hotel during the weekday when the energy is calm because come time for the weekend and a bit more people are here to stay. I have met people from all walks of life. Those from America, middle east, Africa, Australia, of course Malaysia. All with different values and ways of doing things. There was a guy from Saudi Arabia he did not speak English and I did not speak Arabic but we had a mutual understanding. Our non verbal energy was positive although we couldn't understand each other. This hotel definitely has a hostel feel of networking with people and other travelers.

Exceptional”
I'm from a crazy city in the USA and I'm used to people acting rude and impolite, so being around friendly Malaysians is unusual to me but also a breath of fresh air. I think that's one reason I keep coming back here to this hotel because of the hospitality. This was the first place I came to when I arrived in Kuala Lumpur because I thought the photos looked pretty cool on Agoda. That neon blue light is hypnotizing at night. One positive thing I can say about the staff is that they treat all people fairly regardless of race, sex, religion, etc. Respect is paramount here. Something that's rare in America.

A very clean environment with nice location”
5min walk u can get to all the Kl city mall like sungei wang, pavilion, times square low yat etc. Good for those solo travelers who likes to have their own privacy living space. Would recommend this to all my friends who like to travel as a backpacker..

Everything is very clean (unlike some nearby hotels infested with bedbugs), staff are extremely helpful and friendly. One of them even let me borrow his basketball to play with a friend down the road. Includes daily towel, soap, shampoo, coffee and toast for breakfast. Wifi is very fast.

I'm glad i made the choice to come here first when i first got to malaysia. Way better than a lot of places in kuala lumpur, especially in the area. from the middle eastern restaurants to the petaling market around the corner with cambodia, thai, and burmese food. Everything you need right here. bank with atm next door and across the street, massage ladies everywhere, and souvenir markets are there too.

cant say enough good stuff about this hostel. i suggest everyone goes there no matter what. if you just had a night on the town in bukit bintang and need a place to crash its good. Maybe hang somewhere with your friends on the weekend while shopping at the time's square mall tis good. Location is excellent, always people around.
