One of the most welcoming hotels we have visited”
We chose 3 on Camps Bay for our final leg touring S/Africa & Mauritius for my 50th birthday. Originally we couldn't decide whether to stay in Cape Town central, VA Waterfront or surrounding area, but our choice for Camps Bay couldn't have been more perfect, particularly for location. 3 on Camps Bay is situated just a short walk up from 'The Strip', a S/African version of South Beach Miami.... beautiful and vibrant with excellent bars and restaurants. We had hired a car for the duration for visiting Cape Point, Boulder's, Stellenbosch, etc which I'd thoroughly recommend but the local transport and taxi's are so cheap and efficient you really wouldn't need one if not planning on travelling further than C/Town. The hotel owners, Maria & George, have extensively modernised this property to provide a thoroughly comfortable and welcome environment to enjoy the region. Every morning either Maria, George or Marcel (manager) take the time to individually chat too every guest to enquire about their previous days activities, and offer any recommendations and advice for the current days excursions, dining, etc. Marcel was previously a chef for many years and didn't fail on his dining recommendations for us. The guys on hand throughout the duty, Sidwell & Freddie, were brilliant, also offering advice and information and generally putting a big smile on everyone's faces with their charisma. Breakfast is extremely nice, quite a large variety of fresh fruits, cereals, meats, cheeses, breads, and cooked options are available for breakfast. Hot options are all cooked fresh by the lovely and charming Lillian, Primrose & Precious. The service received here was nothing short of excellent and when we return to Cape Town to watch the whales we will definitely be booking 3 on Camps Bay

Marvellous”
3 on Camps Bay is a beautiful boutique hotel. If you are searching for a stay in Cape Town, stay there. Don't hesitate and book the executive suite. Looking to the sunset while showering, or sitting on the balcony in your lounge seats. Restaurants: around the corner. Beach: around the corner. Facilties nearby and the best location to stay. We preferred Camps Bay: save, and the typical atmosphere you like to have on your holidays. Going to the city centre: take an uber, there are plenty. All compliments to the staff!

call it a perfect home at Camps Bay”
We were a couple from China on holiday in Cape Town. Our experiences of staying at 3 Camps Bay were superb. Marcell the property manager took great care of explaining to us the nearby sights, the great restaurants, and the different amenities that the hotel offers. The hotel is meticulously kept and all the staff showed proud and enthusiasm in serving the guests. Every day we were looking forward to the wide array of fresh breakfast the moment we opened our eyes. They also have a very handsome house cat named "Milan". we definitely cherished our stay with 3 camps, and look forward to calling here our home again on our next visit to South Africa!!

Absolutely Amazing Stay”
My wife and I visited 3 on Camps Bay for our honeymoon in Cape Town. It was our first time visiting and we were admittedly a bit nervous at first. When we arrived, however, we were made feel right at home! The location in Camps Bay was simply superb (a short walk to the waterfront), the views of the water were breathtaking (watching the sunset was our favorite past time), the breakfast was incredible, the staff super friendly and we even got upgraded upon arrival. If you want an amazing stay in Camps Bay, this is the place to go!!

Great location. Super Hotel.”
Loved this hotel. Really great. George and Maria were absolutely wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful with local recommendations. In my opionin, staying in Camps Bay is way better than staying downtown Cape Town. Camps Bay is definitely where I choose to once again stay when I visit Cape Town next. Lovely boutique hotel. 10 out of 10!

Nice hotel with great views”
we had a lovely stay at 3 on camps bay for 9 nights. the owners were very helpful and resourceful. the room we stayed had the view of 12 apostles, signal hill and the ocean all in one, very breathtaking!. a decent breakfast provided. the hotel is at a good location, walking distance from camps bay. we felt safe enough to commute on foot to and from camps bay rd every night. although the hotel does not do lunch or dinner service, i didn't find it a mark-down point. there was so much to offer around camps bay that i'd miss out not popping in to enjoy what it had to offer. the owner provided a self-service minibar at a communal area, a bottle of wine was offered at a reasonable price - almost a supermarket rate. overall we had a nice stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The perfect start to our Garden Route journey”
After a warm welcome and a very comprehensive overview of the facilities available to us, we soon realised how lucky we had been to have booked in at 3 On Camps Boutique. Its location is perfect for access to the beach, restaurants and Cape Town itself. There are spectacular views from the hotel, which can be enjoyed from the many vantage points available to all guests. Most of all we would like to give a big thankyou to the manager Marcell, who went out of his way to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. We highly recommend this hotel to all categories of visitor.

Beautiful views and easy access to Cape Town ”
We had a wonderful stay at 3 on Camps Bay. When we booked through Agoda, the room wasn't specified, and from the pictures it looked like we would have an ocean view...when we checked in however, our room was in the back of the hotel with no view. The owner was very kind and rearranged some things for us to be able to have an ocean view room which was amazing! We loved the top floor living area and terrace (available no matter what room you are staying, but even cooler if you are in the top floor because it feels like part of you your room). Breakfast was fantastic, and the location is close enough to walk to nearby restaurants (although it is up hill on the way back). We left really late out of Cape Town and they let us stay in the room until we left, which was so so so awesome, especially since we hiked Table Mountain that morning.

Lovely hotel in nice area”
We had a lovely stay at 3 on Camps Bay. The location was good, close to the beach, and there were some really nice restaurants close by. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the breakfast was good and the oceanview was fantastic! The hotel was clean, with spacious relaxing areas where one could chill out. The beach is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and absolutely stunning. By the beach it was also possible to go with the hop on hop off buses, which was great! The only negative things was the sound from the fridge at night and that we had to wait in the reception 30 minutes to get to check out (because there was no staff there) even though we were there during the check out time.

Excellent stay! 10/10”
Extremely friendly and supportive staff, superb cooked breakfast each morning and immaculately clean rooms every day! Rooms and grounds were very peaceful and safe and the bed was especially comfy too. Honesty bar was a nice touch as well. Just a short and safe stroll down to Camps Bay and Clifton (the hill up to the hotel isn’t that bad at all!) and a 5 minute taxi to Kloof and surrounding areas. The best spot in town! We can’t wait to go back next year!

BOUTIQUE GUEST HOUSE IN PRIME LOCATION”
An enjoyable stay at 3 On Camps Bay. The guest house is an easy walk to the main restaurants and shops although walking back it is easier to take a taxi or uber. Staff here are accommodating and rooms are spacious. Breakfast was up to the standards expected with efficient service.

Lovely stay in a great place.”
No complaints, everything good to excellent, and the 2 fellas running the place couldn't be more helpful and friendly, as were all the staff. Just be aware Camps Bay is built on a hill, and while we enjoyed the walk down into town and back, (only 10 minutes) some may find it testing. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again, if it's not fully booked and it very often is.

Excellent accommodation ”
We cannot fault the standard of the rooms and friendliness of the staff. This is our 3rd trip to Camps Bay and by far the best hotel we've stayed at. It is quite a steep walk up hill from the beach and restaurants, but the view from the terrace is totally worth it. Very much a relaxing spot for couples who want to be away from the main hustle and bustle. Would definitely recommend.

Great Location, Great Value”
Spent 2 nights here at the end of a holiday including 5 days safari in Kruger, 4 nights on Waterfront in Cape Town before here. A trouble free check-in and awesome views from our room (Lion's Head from bed, superb panoramic views from balcony. Room 14 and I'd recommend it. Will definitely return here if in the area.

Great place to stay”
This was an amazing place to stay. Great value for money and much more fancy then I normally would stay. The staff are their biggest asset, nothing is a problem. The beds were a holiday highlight! As was the breakfast in the morning and complementary muffins, tea and coffee. Communal areas were perfect and a nice place to hang out when not in your room and we were and group so was nice to not have to go out but still have some space to be together. I used the washing service, which was great and same day return. Would only suggest to request that they don't clip your socks together as this ruined them trying to get them undone. Great location to all places. They can also organise airport transfers which are really well priced. They also do tours which was really well done, well priced. The company is cape tours I think. Great great place to stay. I can't wait to stay there again and would recommend to anyone!
