Best Guesthouse I've ever stayed! ”
The place was so spacious, with nice table and chair to work and sofas to chill. It might get nosy when there were crowds. I stayed during the pandemic, felt like home, where you can cook. Staff cleans the place everyday, very friendly.

THE Chillout Place in Manila! ”
The Hostel has everything you need! Affordable dorm and private rooms, the place is very clean and safe. It has a very nice community room, where u can relax the whole day - very good wifi and free tea and coffee. The breakfast is Toast, peanut butter, jam, eggs, cake, noodles, fruits - very nice!

Basic and cozy hostel”
I love the location of this place. Almost every place is a stone's throw away or at least walkable Common area is very homy, nice to chill around Room is clean, air-conditioned (only available from evening till morning next day) Toilet is clean and separated from shower (bring your own toiletries, hostel doesn't provide toiletries) Overall I'm so happy about this place, will definitely book again ❤️

Great Location”
Location is great. Fantastic markets at your doorsteps! I stayed here on a Saturday night. There was a night market and a concert in celebration of Chinese New Year. You could just listen and enjoy the music from the spacious common area or your room's window. The next morning, you will have the famous Gaya Street Sunday Market at your doorstep. They start setting it too around 4:00 a.m. and you will see many people bright and early in the morning. All the staff was so sweet and kind. However, I could not sleep well due to the overused mattress/sponge bed that are on the bunkbeds. I stayed in the dorm room #105. I was given a sheet, thin quilt and a pillow to make up a bed, which is fine and typical in some hostels. The bed sponge (not quite a mattress) was sinking in the center and it was not easy and comfortable even to just lie down. If the dorm room beds are replaced with an even surfaced non-ancient material, I would totally re-consider staying at this hostel.

It was ok but not what I expected”
I like that they offer free breakfast, use of fridge and drinking water. The room was very good. Well ventilated with mirror and table. The location is very good too. It's at the center of everything tourist spots. Here's the catch: Before I booked this hotel, I have read so many reviews about the friendly staff. I don't find them that friendly. They sound bossy and one of the staff kept smirking at me and it made me uncomfortable. I also did not like that when they enter the room, they won't knock first. They will just key in and do their thing, like changing bed sheets etc.. There's not even an "excuse me" or "good morning". They should wipe the wet floors after mopping since it's disgusting to walk on wet floors barefoot (they don't allow slippers or shoes inside). This is just an honest review.

Pros: Staff helped us organize a discounted river boat tour upon arrival which was convenient. Cozy hangout areas, open air. Coffee and tea available all day. Free water. Kitchen to use. Private rooms were decent size. Secure front door with code. Close to the water, nice area Cons: breakfast was just toast and jam - could be better. Had to rent towels.

Good location and friendly staff. We booked a room with AC, but we unfortunately didn't get the remote. When we asked for one, they gave us one that didn't work, so we had to sleep in a 18°C room. Furthermore the the bed and the sheets were too little, so our feet were out of the bed and not under any sheets. We were freezing the whole night. The shower head of 1 out of 2 shared showers is broken.
