Best Hotel”
This is the best hotel ever. I've been to Ao nang twice and both of my stay was in Smile Hotel. It is because of the services given by the staff which is really helpful,courteous, and always smiling. They always greet us and have a beautiful smile. If you need help, they will assist you until it is done. If you travelling by bus, you need not to worry about taking bus from Ao Nang to the Airport. Just tell the staff that you need a bus and they will help you with the booking (Pay with them and they will give receipt to be presented to the bus driver). You dont have to worry about anything. They can simply help you in a blink of an eye. The location is really strategic. Shopping district is just along the hotel.Eventhough you are a budget traveller, but the services given makes you feels like you stay at a 5 star rated hotel. Thus, I would definitely recommend you to stay at this hotel because if you dont, you might miss the chance to be treated the same services as a 4 or 5 star hotel in Ao Nang.

Simply yet cozy”
This is my first visit to Ao Nang,Krabi Thailand and I decided to collect informations as much as I can about all the things in Ao Nang,especially the accomodation due to bringing all my big family to this amazing place. Finally I found how to finding the best way to booked the accomodation,through Agoda. And here,I found this simply yet cozy hotel Aonang Smile Hotel,booked them and everything is running well since we were arrived in Ao Nang and stayed at Aonang Smile Hotel. The hotel is cozy,clean and have helpful staff even since I was make a direct a phone call from my home before our departure to make sure everything is ok. and don't forget that this hotel has best location,only 2 minutes walk to the beach. I fully recommended this hotel to everyone who needs a simply yet cozy holiday

Exceptional”
I have stayed here for 4 days 3 night and the price was okay considered as budget hotel. The room was big and comfortable and the air conditioner functioning well. this hotel location also very strategic, it takes you 5 minutes walking to the beach and as you walking down from the hotel you are already in Ao nang walking street. This hotel also located near 7E, money changer, ATM,souvenier shop, subway, MCD, starbucks, and also halal food stall nearby this hotel. The hotel staff also nice and good. This hotel also let you borrow the umbrella and hat. Overall, i really enjoyed staying at Ao Nang Smile hotel and for sure will stay again in this hotel for next visit.

Best hotel in Asia! We travel for three months in Asia and smile hotel is the best!!! The staff are amazing, always smiling and very kind!! they are always willing to help you with any question or request! The hotel have excellent location, two minutes from the beach and close to bars, restaurants, Shops, massage and more. The hotel serves a travel agent, they have fair prices, we invited from them kayaking tours, boat tours and transportation to the night market and to koh lanta. Anek Chiwwuttipong (The owner of the hotel) is amazing! He Helped us plan the rest of our stay In Ao nang and gave us useful information. The Rooms are comfortable and equipped with all you need (comfortable beds, there is wifi in the room, safety deposit box and a stunning view from the balcony!). This is my first time in Krabi. Aonang Smile Hotel is a very convenient place, walk for 5-8 minutes you can see a bench, and there are many shops and restaurants near the hotel so we do not have to worry if we are hungry in the late night. The facilities are good but it will be better if the hotel install a lift in the building. Attitude of the staff can be improved as one of the staff actually gave me a bad impression.

A budget hotel in a good location. Hard to get a better one for the price in Ao Nang Stay for 3 night. Aircon very cool, Located near Ao nang beach and you can see fantastic viewing at the rooftop, mountains and seaview breath taking. The room was large and clean. It was cleaned up every day, plus 2 bottle mineral water free everyday. At hotel door step massage, foods, shops etc. They have beach mats, umbrellas, ponchos, sun hats, snorkel equipment to borrow for free! in a box, no need to sign it out etc. just take it. Very nice touch. We used the beach mat everyday. I highly recommended this place. They even rent out bike for our convenient.

Spacious room for two with daily room service and free mineral water provided. Very friendly staffs (nadia, zee and mai) always entertain us even willing to teach us some useful simple thai language. Good halal food can easily be found (go to bersenang-senang thai food- just next to the hotel heading towards aonang beach. Very closed to the beach (less than 5mins to reach). Great nightlife. Hotel also offers you good tour package and transport to the airport with reasonable price. Overall, it was a great stay and i will definitely stay here the next time i come to krabi!

Excellent hotel to stay in value”
I have been to Krabi many times with my wife and with family, parents. Stayed in various hotels but this is the best one- with the money I paid. Some of the services is really exciting, they provide hats, umbrellas, mats to borrow so you don't need to buy or bother to carry those. Staffs are really friendly and rooms are just great, highly recommended those who are not looking for a 5 star facilities but for a nice stay near Ao Nang. Loved staying and will visit again!

Great if you are looking for budget hotel near the beach”
The best thing about this hotel is its location, about 200 meters from the beach. Also there is no noise from the nearby bars. you may get a good view of the mountain and a glimpse of the sea from the balcony. There are bunch of beach going stuffs that you may borrow for free. If you are looking for a budget hotel for spending most of your time at the Ao nang beach and nearby facilities, this is a good option. The issues are- 1. The tiles on the room floor were slippery. Our 2 year's old son cut his forehead by falling down within 30 minutes of our check in. 2. The halal food options are about half kilometer from the hotel. P.S. we read many complaints about the front desk staffs being weird before we booked the hotel. We received good enough response from them during our 2 days long stay. And we didn't actually go there to stare at them whole day, so those complaints seem sort of irreverent.

The stay at The Aonang Smile Hotel is great. Comfortable room, quiet and clean. Each day you will see an cute elephant that is made from towels on your bed. The staffs are friendly always with a smile on their face. The Only things that they had to improve are their english. From the hotel, you can just walk around and only 5 min to the beach. There are many food stalls,shops and Mc Donalds.

Got cheap package for island hopping with this hotel, rather than take it with agent in ao nang beach. (For 4 Island Hopping,Hotel offer 350baht, but Ao nang agent 600baht )

Close to the Beach for Cheap!”
I enjoyed our stay at Aonang Smile hotel. It was a great, cheap, and comfortable place to stay that had easy access to all the different activities the town has to offer. The whole area is touristy, but there are cheap food stands in the alleyways if you want to go that route. On the other hand, the Indian food restaurants and places close by are cheap by Western standards and make a ton of good food from around the world.

Great location! Close to Ao Nang beach and food stalls. Spacious room and bathroom. Has basic necessary amenities. Nice views of the ocean and mountain in the balcony (room 407). Towels were changed everyday. WiFi is surprisingly fast! Free mat that I used when I went to Railay. Friendly staff. Facilities may look outdated and run-down, but it’s fine to me as long as the place is clean; no annoying ants or bugs in the room even when I had food leftovers. Only few selection of TV channels. Water heater is quite difficult to control. Overall, I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay on this hotel and would love to be back!

Clean, friendly and convenient ”
Aonang Smile hotel staff was friendly and accommodating to us. They helped us with any booking we wanted ( scooter, fairy, airport shuttle). Aaonang Smile is conveniently located near many restaurants (both western and eastern). The hotel is only a short five minute walk from the beach. The breakfast is the basic western style: bacon, eggs and toast variety-enough to get you going. The rooms very very clean and specious. We booked the room on 4th floor and got a nice ocean view. Overall, my husband and I really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely return.
