Hotel is generally good and nice, staffs are polite and accommodating. However, just some set back, aircon and toilet bath partition cloth have got some bad smell. Can consider to look into it. Room 419

easy access hotel ”
my wife and I spent two nights at Aqueen at Lavender street. Lovely place. room very clean and good. Very easy access as the MRT is just five min walk away. Grab cars very cheap and convenient to most parts of Singapore. My special thanks to receiptionist Miss Zuraidah. A very efficient girl, friendly, smiling most of the time, that we felt very welcome. thanks

It was a nice stay. The only thing I didn’t like was the Bathroom having no locks. We usually travelled via the Green Line so it’s quite far from the Hotel. But everything was fine. Thank you!

Please avoid if you have other options”
First, Quay hotel & Aqueen Lavender is the same. The room the staff gave me reeked of smoked so I requested to moved to another room. Staff was kind enough to do this but the other room was just a notch better but still not clean. Dust was everywhere and place really needs a deep scrubbing. Next time I will find a place elsewhere and pay a little more $$$ for a place that values cleanliness.

Terrible hotel”
Staffs were unfriendly especially the malay lady. Curtain was too bright. Room not soundproof. The sound of birds chirping, raindrops, vehicles noises all can be hear very very clearly. Requested for another 1 pillow, as shown in the photo bed has 4 pillows, but there was only 3 in the room, housekeeper rejected to give another one. Worst staycation!!! Will never stay there anymore!!

Stayed in Aqueen Hotel Lavender during 15th to 19th December 2013. It was a very pleasant experience. Hotel staff was very professional and helpful. Hotel is well maintained and rooms were very clean and modern. Bathroom was small, but I was already aware of it from reviews on tripadvisor and was fine with it. Free wi-fi was available in room. Wi-fi signal strength was good with fast internet speed. The room offered to me was on 6th floor facing lavender street with a big glass window, there was some construction going across the road, but room was quiet with decent view otherwise. Coffee/tea packets and 2 bottles of drinking water was replenished daily. They have a luggage room where you can keep your luggage for few hours after checking out (in case your flight is departing late). I never tried food in their restaurant. Best thing is the location of this hotel which is approximately 1 km from Lavender MRT and Farrer Park MRT. There are lot of food options nearby at Lavender food square, Lavender MRT, City square mall and little india etc. Overall a value for money hotel.
