Very comfortable accommodations, but....”

I'm a seasoned traveler, traveling extensively in South/Southeast Asia each year for 2-3 months each time(currently based in Laos, teaching English)....but this was my first visit to Nan. Unfortunately, not one of the hotel staff speak any English. The young ladies at the Reception were most charming and tried to be helpful. They only had maps of Nan in Thai - but were able to indicate to me the location of the Tourist Office. I went to the Tourist Office - but none of the four staffers spoke English either! I don't know if it was because it is the off-season here in SE Asia - or if I just picked a 'bad' arrival day! But it was very difficult to get myself oriented. At the hotel, I also tried to give some clothing items to be laundered...again, a language problem.....and asking for milk (for my coffee) at breakfast. I learned the Khum Muang Min Boutique Hotel is new. Rest assured, the accommodations are most comfortable, clean and attractively furnished -- but the hotel does need to have at least one staffer who speaks a few words of English! Ultimately, I changed my hotel to the Nan Boutique Hotel -- truly one of the most delightful hotels in SE Asia in which I've ever stayed....I will review this when you send me the review page! It made all the difference to my time in Nan. Thank heavens, while finding my way around town, I came across Fhu Travel....and the saint of an owner, who was my 'angel'. She gave me a map of the town....and through her, I planned two day excursions into the countryside and tribal villages - with excellent guide and driver on both days. I highly recommend Mrs. Srisappuris at Fhu Travel to anyone visiting Nan. She offers excellent tours, both of Nan itself and the surrounding area.

Excellent experience in Nan”

I was impressive with the location firstly, since last time, i was there by my owned. Actually last year, then i was visited here again this time with my family to show them how beautiful of this hotel and marvelous Nan city. It's charming hotel and great hospitality service. We were traveling there with older seniors citizen's which at first we thought might be some issue as per we have room on the 2nd floor. However, my parents love it as per decoration and feeling atmosphere around plus the classic of the location match with everything. The room was great match with prices we paid with all arrangement that we were request in advance . Thank you very much Khum Muang Min Hotel. We will definitely visit there again

The best place in the heart of the cultural city”

We were highly impressed by Khum Muang Min Boutique Hotel regarding its location, atmosphere, and services. It's the right place for those wanting to get around the famous temples in the area on foot. The building and the rooms have been beautifully designed with all the convenience needed. Breakfast was served in a cozy cafe though not a variety of food was available. The staff were gentle and willing to help.

Good Boutique hotel, good location”

We traveled with 3 adults and 1 small kid so we booked for superior triple room. The hotel was clean and worth for its price. Staff were smiling and friendly. There were free bicycles and it’s good to go for sightseeing and have dinner at night small market by those bicycles. It’s small town anyway. Breakfast was good enough to start our day before next journey. One thing was it looked they were under-staff on our building. In the morning there was no staff at all on Khum Muang Min building. We called but no answer, waited for almost 20 minutes then we just left the key by ourself on check-out. Sound wield, but overall was good. We’d recommend to stay here.

Great stay!”

The room was neat and clean with big corridor. Staffs were nice and helpful (although they might not be very informative. They got confused at some of our questions about sightseeing direction but we sorted things out in the end) The hotel is about 15-20 mins walk from bus station and just 3 mins walk to Phumin temple. There are night market in the area every weekend so you can find food easily. Overall we were so happy with the place and will consider to stay here again when we visit Nan next time. (What a lovely city! We will come back for sure!)

Nice staff, good price, central location”

It is a nice little boutique accommodation in the center of a small town. The staff were nice and very accommodating. The room was clean and offered all the essentials. Will definitely stay here again in our next visits to Nan.

Superb location”

It was a very nice stay at Khum Muang Min. The place is very cosy with nice design and decoration. It is only a few minutes walk from all the attractions in town. The hotel provides bicycles for guests to use for free throughout their stay.

Located near all tourist attractions, Wat Phumin, Nan National Museum And Ming Muang Temple. There is Kad Khueang, Nan city. (Walking street, Wat Phumin) every Friday-Sunday or stop by to buy souvenirs at OTOP Center. Rooms are clean, but air conditioning should be improved to the standard because it is making loud buzzing noises when open for a while. Breakfast is clean, variety, and good taste.

will definitely come back again next time we visit Nan. hotel staff very friendly and helpful and make us feel very at home. location is great, the mansion is very well setup; bicycles are freely available and add to the charm of the place.

Excellent, small scale hotel”

We found the hotel quite agreeable. The entrance area is inviting, and it is easy to get to one's room. The only problem is one common to all of Nan: scarcity of restaurants and scarcity of public trans.

Charming in original local Thai Traditional”

1st time to book this hotel since I like the traditional Thai style Hotel. Upon arrival, it's simple hotel with simple standard facility, simple amenities but I's enjoyable. Sometime you don't need any luxury when you stay at this small city. The hotel has bicycles for guests to drive around that I did it every early morning to drive from hotel as sightseeing and finished my bike at the local market to offering foods to the monks with their local people. Then I walk around to taste their local foods at the market and it's so yummy. Then I biked back that it takes around one and half hours, taking a bath before starting my city tours with group again. I would recommend this hotel to stay in Nan Province.

Lovely small hotel”

This is a beautiful old style house that has been successfully converted into a boutique hotel. Modern old fashioned with chintz curtains the rooms are quite delightful. Location is good and the staff are very friendly.

Lovely Traditional Norther Style House”

Right in the middle of the town convenient to go every where. The room is large and so comfy bed. The decoration of the hotel is good, so we enjoy taking photos at every single corner of the hotel. Bike also available for the borrow which you can use all day long without charge. Breakfast was decent Thai style with some fried egg. Will be back again.

Boutique hotel set in a very convenient downtown Naan”

This hotel is new and clean. They have free bicycle for borrowing to ride around town. It is clean and have good facilities. It is a 2-storey hotel but there is no elevator. However the reception can help carry your baggage. Although in the middle of the ancient city, it is very quiet. Buffet breakfast with American breakfast and thai boiled rice with pork.

Comfy hotel with superb location”

I really enjoy my time at the hotel. It is very conveniece to explore the city as it is situated just over the corner of the city centre. More importantly, the staff is really nice and helpful.

Good Location, Friendly Staff, Clean, Safe”

The hotel is located in mid of the town. They provide bicycles for guest to ride explore the city. To hotel surround with top 5 tourist attraction temples and museum like just 5 mins walk for few minute ride. The hotel is clean but no choice of breakfast but all simple nice one.
