Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a place that provides amazing customer service and is conveniently located to many attractions. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfy. They also provided scooter hiring at the hotel if needed. Overal great stay and exceptional experience. Would definitely come back to stay. Very comfortable and pleasant hotel”
I chose this because it was just a few minutes' walk from a school I needed to visit. It was very clean, and the breakfast was good. The rooftop swimming pool is a one-person lane for laps, and just long enough to be useful. (maybe less so if you are a more vigorous swimmer than I am) The pool is next to the rooftop bar and a lounging area where people sun themselves. I had them do some laundry, but the laundry soap residue had a very strong smell, so they ran it through again at no charge to help eliminate that. (good service) The hotel looks unassuming from the street but is really quite nice. I'll be back.

The service was amazing Ms. Bung & Mr. Marshall went out of their way to help us. Lobby and sky roof is beautiful. All facilities are very clean. The afternoon tea and breakfast was good. The breakfast selection could be better. If you're looking for variety, you'd be disappointed. The food quality was good though, for the spread they had. I was complimentararily upgraded and it made the experience fantastic! The rooms were spacious and clean. Only thing is the shower wasn't draining well. Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and you barely hear any sound from the streets. Location was nearby everything and well connected. Kudos to the security staff (whom I shamefully forgotten his name) who lent me his personal phone charger as well. That was so helpful and saved me some money buying an adapter. Overall, highly recommended! Would go again.

I’m super impressed with the hotel and staff here. The hotel is decorated with simple but stylish furniture and green vines and plants. Background music is relaxing. The rooftop pool is small bit nice, surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs. The public bathroom is very clean. Breakfast and afternoon tea are lovely. The staff are super helpful, professional and friendly. Our room is spacious and beautiful. The gowns are a bit old but acceptable. Other than that, everything is perfect. We really enjoyed our time here. Will come back.

Adorable quiet hotel in the middle of the city”
Centrally located yet a quiet get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Au Lac Legend was our home away from home during our stay - organising everything from airport transfers to private cars to other hotels. Can’t recommend enough, the staff were just amazing and so accommodating!

Lovely helpful staff & amazing pool”
I had some help from the hotel team to arrange a usual excursion - Henry was super helpful and arranged everything for me as well as arranging a local SIM card which really helped with my day to day. The pool is great for cooling off after hot days and the happy hour is very welcoming! I would stay there again

I stayed at this hotel for more than a week, and the staff were great - super friendly and accommodating. The upstairs pool and tea were nice, and breakfast was varied each day (much appreciated for a long-term stay). Amazing value; definitely recommend.

The best accomodation in Vietnam! ”
We have stayed in 9 hotels over the last 12 days including some 5 star resorts. This was by far the best experience we’ve had! The staff are amazing, the room so beautiful, fabulous pool/bar area and an awesome breakfast and afternoon tea included. We are leaving wishing we had a few more days here. We really enjoyed our short stay here. The room itself was perfectly fine but nothing special, everything else was lovely - the rooftop pool and bar, very friendly staff, big breakfast choice and the afternoon tea on the roof was a surprise bonus! Well located for District 1 and also close to War Museum and other tourist sites. Great street food can be found a few blocks further up the same street (around 15-20 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai)

Au Lac Legend was the first hotel we stayed while travelling Vietnam. Breakfast was included in our booking and had omelette bar, bacon, rice dishes soups etc as well as toast and baked treats. Staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived three hours before check in and they allowed me to keep my bags there and go to the rooftop to shower and change my clothes. Food at the bar is expensive for Ho Chi Minh, but it is a 4 star rated hotel. My room was ready at 12:30 instead of 2pm! It was all in all a great stay and if you are willing to spend a little more, I would say it is worth it.

This is my fourth time in HCMC, and the hotel Au Lac has been the best. They have buffet breakfast and free tea with cookies in the afternoon. A rooftop with view over HCMC that has swimming pool, bar, gym and steam bath. Strongly recommend

amazing hotel in D1”
one of the best hotels i've been to in Vietnam. Exceptionally clean rooms with good sound isolation. Staff is very helpful and nice. The pool is amazing with great view and also the location is great if you want to be near the city centre walking distance. there's a convenience store down the road and it's nearby all the attractions. the only downside is the breakfast, but considering everything else - the hotel is amazing
