Lovely, clean and welcoming”
Averill Court Motel is a lovely place to stay and an easy, level walk past the beach to town and close to a convenience store and the Alfresco restaurant, which does delicious breakfasts! We had a front, upstairs unit, which got a bit of road noise, but overall that wasn't too much of an issue. The Studio Unit itself was very clean and had all the amenities you need for a short stay. Housekeeping were thorough each day, the bed was very comfortable and the shower had good pressure. It was great to see the refillable soaps in the bathroom, however there were no labels on the ones in the shower which left us a little confused as to which was soap and which was hair shampoo/conditioner. We didn't use the swimming pool on the premises but it certainly looked lovely. My only bugbear was that the WiFi signal in our unit was really poor and kept dropping out. That said, that was a minor inconvenience during a lovely relaxing stay in Paihia. Many thanks to Winnie and her team for a great job

i was very pleased with the place, rooms are beautiful and copmfortable, staff is very friendly and helpful and hotel is situated few nminutes away from paihia wharf and centrum. there is pool to swimm all day and spa to use in teh evenings to relax after the sightseeing.so i recommend averill court motel.

Clean, comfortable and cheap”
I got the studio 3 night special. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable and great value for money. Serviced daily. Free car park. Within walking distance to Paihia town center and ferry port. Wifi didn't have great reception but can't complain as it came free and was enough to check emails, google for information and book tours etc. If you want to watch a movie there is sky TV. I would definitely return to Averill Court and highly recommend for those who wants a comfortable place to stay.

Slow kitchen stove, but very comfortable environment”
We are a group of 3 adults. When compared with other backpacker hostels like the nearby YHA and BASE (Tiki Lodge), Averill Court Motel has the best value for money in terms of room comfort, a private parking space, and a spa & swimming pool (although quite small). However, the stove in the self-contained kitchen is not fire-based, so it takes quite long to heat the pans.

Fantastic location near the beach”
We enjoyed the central located, social barbecue next to the pool. Paihia is an idyllic place to chill. Be sure to take the cream boat trip which is relaxed and we had fantastic views of dolphins. Averill Court is handy for the beach and activities. It has everything to make your stay successful.

Great stopover”
we just stayed one night at the averill court motel before taking off the next morning for a cruise through the bay of islands. the location was very convenient, and the facilities were great. good value for money.

I was with friends from Australia and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Averill Court. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was a problem and the location was superb. The units were clean, comfortable and quiet. I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Excellent!!! Great accommodation and facilities in the unit. Good parking. Excellent customer service. Very well maintained and looked after. Excellent presentation. Don't go anyway else in the area, go to Averill. I would go again in a heart beat.

Hidden gem”
Amazing place in bay of islands. Short walk to the beach/town and in an ideal location. Great value for money. Well furnished with modern facilities and spotless kitchen. Staff were amazing and even offered us a free lift to the bus station when it was raining. Highly recommend.

OK place to stay in Paihia”
Averill court motell was an OK place to stay at time while in Paihia. Our ren-suite rooms could sleep a family of 6, but we used 5 beds. Parking is just outside the door and they also have a pool and a jackussi (that we did not mangage to turn on). 5 minutes to restaurants and the beach, 10 minutes to the pier. Good internet and kitchen.

Studio Apt feel 10 min stroll to boardwalk”
We had a lovely stay at the Averill Court. It was easy to find and after checking in we walked downtown for some fantastic gelato. Saw a couple stingrays in the harbor right off the deck with a beer in hand. Took the ferry over to Roberton Island to have dinner at the oldest pub in NZ, which was a real treat. Great service there (which wasn't always the case on our 2 weeks in the country). Beautiful sunset views.

Great! Was way better than expectation”
We had ok expectation when we booked the motel. Upon seeing our room, I felt that the pictures on agoda did not do the motel justice. Perhaps the colour (blue) of the sheets didnt turn out well in the picture. Anyway, the room was very spacious, clean, and even came with cooking utensils and stoves. 5 min walk away from the beach. Very value for money!

Calm & clean ”
Big spacious and roomy in the studio suite. Kichenette fully stocked. Car clearly visible. Spa + pool available. Very handy Laundry room, coin operated on site. Hostess very friendly & welcoming - motel discounts available for some tours, and also recomended places to see and eat. Will definitely stay again.

It was fantastic. For the price we paid it was well above expectation. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was a great size and very comfortable. I would recommend to everyone - I've taken lots of business cards to hand out. By far one of the best accommodation experiences I've had in a long time.

Great Motel, very comfortable beds, kitchen, free Wi Fi friendly staff, great hot spa, very good after a day out sightseeing. We were booked in for 3 nights but stayed 5 nights only about 3 1/2 hours drive to Auckland Airport.
