10 mins away from the bus stop at the market at Maechan by walking. I felt like I went to my relative’s home. And you can rent a motorbike at this hostel, 300 THB/day

Home from Home, favourite Guesthouse in Thailand”
Very impressed with this guesthouse, the room was big, well furnished, clean with great bed and lots of light from windows on two sides of the room. Strong wi-fi connection. The family made me feel quite at home providing lovely breakfast for me each day, looking after me with travel advice and well-priced motorbike hire. Location ideal for Mae Chan market and exploring the surrounding area. The leafy complex is set back slightly from the road which gives it a very quiet and homely aspect. Recommend this guesthouse very highly, it really stood out from the countless affordable rooms I have booked in Thailand.

Worthwhile value for your money, this guesthouse a little old as local style Lanna, anyway very clean, I come with my wife and 2 friends who have 2 kids together. We are very enjoy here. Location not far from interest point such as Choui Fong Tea plantation, Doi Tung Palace. If you come to Chiang Rai, I introduce here. You will impress like me.

Feeling like home”
This place is conveniently located not far from the Chiang Rai market. They rent bikes. Once you arrived you really feel like staying at home, the staff people are so nice, they even sell homemade jams. We stayed only one night but it was delightful. You can park the car and it's not far from Chiang Rai's attractions like the tea plantation. The room was clean and comfy, and we slept very well as it's quiet at night. Very good value for money, we recommend. Good and rich breakfast included with the room. We had the thai breakfast and it was very good. Really loved this place, we will definitely go back.

Lovely hostel & with the best jam I ever had !”
They family were so lovely & friendly & took care about us. The gave a lot of tips and brought us to the bus station, it was so nice! We had diner there and the noodles with chicken were sooo yummi :) The sell as well the best jam I ever had bevor I could recomend the one with lychee or strawberry. Nice located about 30km from the city Chiang Rai (we didnt like the city). Very quiet & perfect stay after a sustained day full of sightseeing. The rooms were very beautiful & clean!

great place to stay to get off the tourist route”
We are a family of four and were generously catered for with an extra towel and free fourth breakfast. The guesthouse is over 20km north of Chaing Rai and the local bus ride was a surprisingly enjoyable. The owner of tbe guest house kindly picked us up from town and pointed out tbe route to the night food market. Overall the guest house was. Beautifully presented the service friendly and tbe town a pleasant escape from the tourist circuit.

A friendly budget guest house”
March 2013 - I stayed 3 nights in this guest house, convenient to local attractions like Mae Salong, Doi Tung, and Mae Sai. Friendly owner can speak English and has lived in the UK. For the price the guest house is perfectly adequate, more like homely comfort than hotel standard. Own transport would be an advantage - covered parking available for 2 cars. Free bicycles available. No English programs on TV but Wi-Fi available in the rooms. Breakfast (included in the price)is somewhat sparse for the hungry. I recommend the guest house to those who want a clean room with basic amenities at a reasonable price.

Cozy, value the money, feels like friend's home”
Nice garden. Small parkin' lot...during weekday it still comfortable. Great hospitality from the ladies espeacilly the one who prepared our breakfast. In this cheap room rate it included free breakfast....that surprised us a lot. A bit far from the local market if you don't have your own car or bike but there is some small food stall around the hotel.

Quiet and relaxing”
This place is tucked away behind the main shopping centre ( not the highway) so is a little tricky to find. This is also one of its attractions. It is quiet and homely and a relaxing base to explore the nearby mountains. Best if you have your own transport.

Near center of chaingrai and choifong tea. Like stay at home. Owner is nice but rather difficult to contact because you have to press bell for contact staff sometime. Have breakfast meal and delicious yam.
