“Stuck in the past, with no support”
I paying approximately around 3,000 baht per night, expecting a comfortable mid-range hotel. In Kanchanaburi. I don’t expect him to have a wardrobe, slippers, pajamas, hair conditioner, desk lamp or even a phone to contact reception. Since the bathroom had no exhaust fan, I needed to open the window, which unfortunately allowed many mosquitoes and bugs to enter. Maybe adding a mosquito screen would help in the absence of an exhaust fan. The mattress was very old, hard, and the TV looked the same age, was outdated with a large black spot in the center, making it barely usable. Unfortunately, one evening I realized no towels were provided. There was no room phone, no mobile signal, and the Wi-Fi was completely down. When I tried to reach the front desk, I discovered there was no staff on duty at all. I had no choice but to walk to the staff dormitory area to find someone for help, which was highly inconvenient. Finally, staff gave us towels, but it smelled a bit musty. When I asked for an extra mini shower gel, the staff refused. Regarding the unusable Wi-Fi, they simply said, “Second-floor rooms are like that,” Their attitude felt so dismissive, like I was bothering them during their break. Although the breakfast was simple and had no choice but it tasted good. I've been to over 100 hotels and this is the only one where you have to pay extra for coffee at breakfast🤣 The adorable dogs are the only impression bonus. overall experience fell far short of expectations for this price. I expected reliable Wi-Fi and better service. I wouldn’t return and suggest the hotel upgrade its amenities, provide basic supplies like towels, and improve staff responsiveness to match the price point.
