    Basic room”

    I’ve stayed in two rooms at Ban Hao 2. The rooms on the ground floor were in pretty good shape several years back. This time, room 3 upstairs was well past it’s prime, and the cleanliness was sub par. The bed was clean and comfortable, but anyone would be dissatisfied with the bathroom. The folks that own Ban Hao and Ban Hao 2 are a very pleasant and hospitable elderly couple. This guesthouse has likely served them well, but the #2 building may well be past it’s useful life. I believe the rooms in the main house are in better condition from the one that I saw. The location is good. A short walk to the river and to the walking street. There are a great many guest houses in Chiang Khan. Some near to new. Lots of vacancy in the off season which is probably most of the time except Thai holidays and Christmas high season. Food on the river is pricey, but there’s a nice view. The road out to Phitsanulok is somewhat challenging at first. Google maps is a necessity if you’re driving.

    Ladyboy Abuse”

    I was gang raped 3 night in the role by 2 yellow toed ladyboys ..If I had to do it all over again. I would !!! I would definitely recommend this place for the price it is great

    This place is great . Just off prime location of river by 4 minute walk . Free bicycle every day . The lady owner is a little gem . She done my washing and Dry it for free . The price is amazing per night . Don’t expect Hilton but clean and hot shower . I’m coming back here . I love it :)

    It was a nice place to stay, close enough to Walking street and other places.”

    Very nice lady talking care of the place, very nice vegetarian place right across the street, close to walking street but still far aways not to hear the noise. I would go back to the same place again.

    Too noisy”

    Too noisy. If u want to sleep u have to put ear plugs, close to the big road. I never received the wifi password and u have to share the bath room. If u want better in a better price u can go closer to the mekhong on the walking street

    Guesthouse décevante ”

    Ban Bao 2 est une annexe de Ban Bao. La maison en bois est belle et ancienne. Mais les chambres sont décevantes : Petites, mal équipées, limites propres, les cloisons sont en contreplaqué ! Le rez de chaussée comporte un réfrigérateur et de quoi se faire un café ou un thé le matin... La propriétaire est très gentille et parle assez bien anglais.
