A must stay”
My wife and I stayed here at the end of our 3 week trip for our honeymoon. Banana Fan Sea Resort surpassed our expectations. The location was perfect situated towards south Chaweng beach which was much nicer being away from the loud and busy bars and clubs further north, though an easy walk. The food and beverages were some of the best we had our whole trip. The staff were fantastic. We slept like rocks on our king size bed and the room was cleaned twice daily. We rented a scooter through the resort and went to a nearby yoga retreat in the mornings. The included breakfast was totally worth it. Bill, one of the managers, knew us by name and was incredibly kind and thoughtful. He organized a taxi for us to the airport for a good rate. We hope to return in the future. Also, the pool/restaurant area was renovated 1 year ago and is beautiful! Some of the google photos are outdated.

Great beachfront resort with kind staff and delicious food ”
This was our favorite of the places we stayed in Thailand. Although Samui is just starting to open up, Banana Fan had everything nice, new, renovated and modern. And it's so cool how it's right on the water, for example eating the excellent breakfast you are basically getting hit by the mist from waves (in a good way). The fitness center is small but had great new equipment. The location in the heart of Chaweng couldn't be better. And the staff were extremely kind and you got the sense they are actually happy for you to be there. Definitely a five star place to stay. Probably better to go soon and avoid the crowds!

The Best Hotel We Have Ever Stayed In”
Banana is a wonder option for holiday! Cozy decorations, clean beddings and rooms, and super super great service! All rooms are separated houses, which strongly increased the feeling of being on holiday. A lot of guests in the resort are long-term guests, who stay in the hotel for weeks or even 1-2 months and spend the majority of their time just staying in the hotel and on it's private beach. The beach was indeed great! During our visit, half of the hotel was getting refurnished. The construction was expected to be completed by the end of May 2019. Upon completion, all rooms would be renewed. We will definately choose Banana again!!!

After almost two weeks in Thailand we came to Banana Fan Resort and we enjoyed it so much, if not it was the best part of our whole vacation! The staff is so nice and helpful, the resort is so beautiful! Great beach directly in front of the hotel, pool with ocean-view, Dinner at the beach was just perfect - and not pricy! Breakfast was great and not to talk about the rooms... so pretty, 2 times cleaned a day, indoor and outdoor shower... simply WOW!! We will definately come back.

Super satisfied, wouldn’t think twice about coming back here again!”
Right when we arrived, the staff and reception welcomed us with drinks and introduction briefing to all the highlights and necessities available. The rooms are well spaced and designed to feel in touch with nature with all the greenery and maximized view for the rooms to see the sea. The pool area and beach has an amazing landscape for instagram pictures and relaxation. The cocktail bar was also a no brainer, definitely tasty cocktails. I don’t remember the drink name but its their signature apple one, I’m sure the staff can recommend. The staff are very attentive and engage with the customers. They definitely wont feel shy to come talk to you, but also not to the extent that will bother your privacy, so don’t worry. Highly recommended to get a beach towel for picnic at the beach in the night and order some pizza. My favorite part of all is volleyball, the GM and staff also came to play with us off their working hours. Anyways, just go, you won’t be disappointed.

Great resort with a lot to do nearby”
We were looking for a resort that was on the beach but close to town. This was perfect! We had one of the best beaches and we took walks and saw some we were glad we didn't book. The pool and lounge chairs makes for great views. The staff was attentive and always got what we needed. Breakfast included was a great addition and it was a great breakfast with a lot to choose from. The only small issue was mosquitos came out after rain, but they provide lotion for you which is nice. everything in town is walking distance which made it easy to grab lunch and dinner without any worries. We would stay here again if we come back.

Very good hotel with a great view ”
The staff was very friendly and helped with everything during our stay. Especially a young talented staff member who made a perfect flat white every morning was a sensational start in the day. Very clean, very friendly staff and a very good breakfast and food helped us a lot during 4 days of flood and thunderstorms. Highly recommended (with better weather) :)

Everyone was smiling and going the extra mile to ensure we have a wonderful stay. The facilities were great and beautiful beachfront, walking distance to Central Samui Mall. Authentic Beach Resort”
Great resort if you love the beach and swimming in a great pool, as I do. Rooms spacious with comfortable beds and a nice rain shower. The housekeeping staff were especially nice as was the lobby staff during all contact. A special mention to customer relations manager Rabill, who was not only a lovely friendly person, but also assisted me in trying to arrange the treatment of a lovely beach dog that was developing a serious medical problem - hopefully Marcus and his team at Samui Dog Rescue have managed this with the kind help of Rabill. These things are much more important than room comfort for many of us visiting countries where animals have to fend for themselves on beaches and worse, roads. We all hope Koh Samui can recover from the terrible effects of restrictions to travel and movement during the Covid19 flu outbreak and Banana Fan Sea Resort deserves every success in that shared recovery. Beautiful gardens and superb sea views along with superb staff and location make this my only choice on Chawaeng beach on future trips. Highly recommended resort.

New Go to Spot on Samui”
I love this place. It was recommended by a friend and we have been back as a family multiple times. Samui is a bit of a ghost town at the moment, but leaving this resort isn't necessary. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and the facilities are great. The restaurant and pool are right on the beach and the food is great. When the ocean is safe (the resort puts a red flag if too dangerous) it's perfect for the kids to stay in the waves all day.

The best customer service EVER, the staff are beyond incredible as are the rooms and facilities! The breakfast is fantastic with everything you could possibly ever wish for. We had both lunch by the pool and dinner on the beach and it was equally as fantastic. The service is impeccable!! Could not recommend enough!!

Lovely new hotel”
Lovely new hotel in great location. swim up bar in the pool, lots of nice sun beds around the pool and on the beach, Rooms small but nice and comfy bed. No smoking but the smoke from next balcony came into the room even with doors closed, moved room straight away no issues. Friendly staff and nice breakfast,

Beautiful hotel, excellent service. ”
Great hotel located on a beautiful stretch of Chaweng Beach with its beautiful white sand and a sea that is great for swimming. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, and include all the essential amenities you'd expect. Mattress and pillows are comfortable, and the shower has good water pressure. The gardens are immaculately kept. They offer a decent gym and have a beautiful pool overlooking the ocean. The staff are amazing, very warm, friendly, and always willing to go out of their way to make you feel well looked after. The restaurant offers tasty food at reasonable prices, including a variety of local and western dishes, and the cocktails were good too. They offered free sanitiser, masks, and bug spray, turndown service, and free bottles of water in the room replaced twice a day. The crowd was a mixture of families with small children, couples, and solo travellers. Stayed for 2 weeks and could've easily stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Exceptional”
All the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They were also very good with young children. The hotel looks better in real life than in the photos. Location is perfect where it is within walking distance to the mall yet on the quiet end of Chaweng Beach which is more suitable for families. We had a walk down the beach and agree that Banana Fan Sea Resort looks the best amongst the beachfront hotels. We had a wonderful time there and will not hesitate to recommend this to anyone travelling to Koh Samui!
