Best In Ballarat ”
This is the only place I will stay when I visit Ballarat I have tried a few others over the years but I have been staying here since 2009… I know pre covid you needed to book in advance. Especially during holidays due to it being walking distance to Sovereign Hill and other attractions. The suites are exceptionally clean and the beds are very comfortable and I always sleep well when staying here. The staff are welcoming and helpful with anything you need , I would highly recommend.

Perfect ”
Close by the wild life park ( our main destination) across the road to sovereign hill you could walk there even with children. Pretty quiet spacious room we took our porta cot and there was so much room for that our son to play and us to move around. We will return to stay here again room was super clean and bathroom was lovely to didn’t feel dirty like some motels it was comfy and practical while endulging in a family weekend away

Good value hotel”
The room facilities are brand new and comfortable to stay in. Free parking just outside the hotel. There are two sinks and mirrors in the toilet that impressed us. Great for hurry in the morning.

Great Room for the night”
Stayed overnight and wanted to attend Sovereign Hill and Gold Museum the next day. Ideal location, great staff, 2 pubs next door for dinner and the conti breakfast thrown in was awesome. Highly recommended

The spa was massive. The bed was the most comfortable I’d ever slept in ina hotel ”
A small coffee table would be good. No where to put a drink while watching tv. That would be my only negative in the room. Unfortunately this hotel is a drive from the cbd if you want dinner. Close to Pizza Hut and Chinese if that’s your thing. Good location for those going to Soverign Hill.

Welcome surprise”
Photos of the rooms looked good. So we was happy to arrive to a fresh and modern room. Check in staff were friendly and hopeful recommending a great spot for dinner. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Only issue was the hot water system not kicking in correctly to enjoy the spa bath. Otherwise very happy

The location of this hotel is good as it is nearby Sovereign Hill, the room is cozy and big, with a living room and the toilet has a bath tub. The bed is soft and room is clean, comfortable stay with a good sleep on a soft bed. After dinner our key card is unable to enter the room, we went to the counter and the receptionist immediately assist us to re-programme the card, thumb up for the fast action. Carpark lots available, just that our rooms are located at the 2nd storey and it painful to carry many luggage up the stairs.

Best choice in Ballarat”
we stayed in best western ballarat suites for a night in dec 2011. the location is close to sovereign hill, less than 5mins walk. the room is huge with clean comfortable king size bed, big lcd tv, huge toilet with double sinks. it is definitely my choice of stay if i ever get to visit ballarat.

Convenient, Clean and nice Jacuzzi”
Very close to Sovereign Hill and near to the town centre. Easy access to the bus station just across the road that can take you to town and 5 mins walk to a bus station to take you to Ballarat Widlife Park. The hotel is very clean and spacious, we took the spa suite and really enjoyed the jacuzzi for relaxing. Near to few restaurants that can do take-aways so food's not a problem. We really enjoyed our stay here and had a relaxing time :)

Good location to access Sovereign Hill”
We stayed for 2 nights at Best Western Plus Ballarat Suites. We booked the Spa Suite which comes with an attached jacuzzi in the bath. The hotel is pretty basic and looks like a typical motel where you can park your car just outside your accommodation. There is not much in terms of facilities but there are some restaurants just a few hundred meters from the property. If you intend to spend 2 days or more at Sovereign Hill then you should make this hotel your base as it is within walking distance to the attraction.

This motel is very pleasant and very clean. My son love it so much. The bathroom is beyond our expectation with its jacuzzi. The living room is spacious, neat and tidy. The room is very clean.
