Great staff and very relaxing resort!”
Been w/ Calinisan Resort 4-5x and what keep us on returning were d relaxing view of Taal Lake, fishing in their Tilapia pond, 2 huge swimming pools and of course their staff. -The resort is located in Laurel Batangas. It is not a touristic destination like Nasugbu, San Juan or Lipa, and so, u r guaranteed to have a peaceful n relaxing feel of the province away frm the noise and pollution. -My kid also enjoyed fishing in their Tilapia pond with d help of Kuya Jojo and Kuya Jhunry. Caught tilapia is p220/kilo and cooking fee is p100 for fried, steam, grilled or kilawin and p150 for sinigang. I am not a fish eater but i can consume 3-4 med sized tilapia w/ them!! -Their pools are even bigger with most hotels weve been too. -Finally, the very accommodating n helpful staff r the true gem of this resort. Shoutout to Manager Bonnie Enriquez, very polite in dealing with guest. He has this "amor" unlike w/ other managers. If it wasnt for u, this will really be our last :)

Amazing Experience”
I was really surprised to find a world class resort in Laurel Batangas! The grounds are beautifully maintained and very clean. The view is just amazing, one of the most amazing in the entire world actually. The staff is very friendly, efficient and helpful. Good people! We had a great time and can't wait to go back! If you can afford it book one of the room with a views of Taal volcano and your own balcony!

Perfect for family get away”
We travel last March 9 and 10, 2019 6 adults 1 senior and 2 kids We choose this place to celebrate birthdays Family room is good for 8 to 12 pax Value for money for only 5,241.87 pesos per night via agoda from regular room rate of 6,500 Comes with free breakfast for 8 pax Room has spacious bathroom, toilet with bidet is a plus point. With complete toiletries. Very clean and our room smells nice and fresh. Well maintained. Kudos to house keeping staff We have separate sale with flat screen tv with cable and spacious fridge. Our room is located at ground floor near the lake and resto. It is a good factor since our group is consist of senior and children. They only charge us 100pesos per pax for outside food We enjoy the covered swimming pool. The pool is sparkling clean (the new one near the hotel) but the two old pool (adult and kiddie) has mold build up on the pool stairs. Otherwise, our over all experience was superb, will definitely go back and refer the place as well.

Beautiful views!”
A trip down from Tagaytay, off the beaten path but worth the trip with beautiful views of Taal volcano. The grounds ,including the pool , BBQ pits , picnic tables and huge basketball court are perfect for families and large get-together. The beach is not ideal for swimming or bathing but boats are available to Taal Island. Trikes , jeepney not easily available and need to be contacted by staff since the resort is off the main road set back. The road just to get back up to Tagaytay is long and winding. Traveling to resort is half the trouble but the food and facilities are very good.

The place is a little hard to find. But our overall experince in the resort was really nice. ”
I booked a Family room 1 week prior. We were warmly welcomed by their staff. Got a nice, clean and spacious room for my family. The beach is not swimmable but their pool is amazing and they have an awesome view of taal lake too. You'll have free access to almost every amenities in the resort and the restaurant serves affordable and good food. Perfect place if you need some peaceful and quality time with you loved ones.

The Hotel itself looks new and very clean. My family enjoyed the Taal view and the pool itself is really amazing. Excellent hotel and customer service is Superb from the Front desk, restaurant staff and the Guy who help us in fishing which my son really enjoyed. Will surely make the place one of our regular vacation place.

recommended resort”
We had fun. Ideal for family outing because they had fishing and we are allowed to bring our own food and willing to lend their cooking utensils. The resort is safe for children and the staff are very friendly.

Needs improvement on booking ”
I booked a taal view room for my family, but upon arrival was given a pool view and was told that since i booked thru agoda the taal view isn't available. Only pool view, i reiterated that i booked taal view room. The staff allowed us to transfer to a taal view room, but only with additional charges P1, 250/night. Suggest that booking be more coordinated, give the customer what room they're due. There were only 3 choices for breakfast, even on our 2nd day the choices were still the same. The restaurant needs a vast improvement, dinner was orderes well in advance and was served cold already. Don't expect a hot meal when you dine at the resorts restaurant.

Volcano voyage”
Very kool resort with three pools, plenty of outdoor area, beautiful layout, direct access to Taal lake and a great view of Tagatay at night. Friendly staff and many accommodation options. I stayed in a basic room during a time of year that was not busy, so basically had the whole place to myself. One thing against the resort is they are cash only and you are not told this until you get there. If you use credit cards often as I do then you have to go looking for a money changer which would not be easy.

Nice Getaway ”
Very remote. But once you're there, the travel headaches slowly disappeared. I rented a car, drove ourselves. If you're looking for PEACE, QUITE, RELAXING, 2 NICE BIG POOLS, SLOW PACED, FRIENDLY STAFF - this is the place. If you're looking for a BEACH, there isn't one! But the BIG pools (and the grounds) are kept clean DAILY, by LOYAL, HARD WORKING, VERY FRIENDLY Staff. The staff felt like FAMILY, Yet the Owners were treated like Royalty. The owners showed up once for their annual Christmas Party, that they allowed my girlfriend and I to attend. And the owners' family were treated like a King, Queen, Prince and Princess. They gave a great party for their loyal staff along with generous presents! I will return someday because of the PEACE, QUIET and RELAXATION we experienced. The eldest daughter Mylene, (in her mid 20s) ran the place and she had the respect of her of ALL her staff. Her right hand man was "BON" ... A very likable young man that truly cared about our experience. Only one negative: Breakfast. They need to add some omelets (with clean chicken eggs, not dirty duck eggs) with ham/bacon. They actually allowed us to cook our own food, once for breakfast and once for dinner. The "Chef", George, was primarily for dinner and he was pretty good and extremely nice. Overall this 2 Star resort was what we were EXACTLY looking for. I highly recommend 4-7 days here!

very relaxing ”
A very relaxing place. Beach is not suitable for swimming because its a lake. But the pools are very clean, very modern. They have videoke para sa mga pinoy. If you will go there make sure to bring water because they don't provide bottled water but they provide a glass of water at their restaurant, only if you need it. Its very windy at the resort.

A tucked in place but worth the trio”
Staff were all friendly specially Brandon and Jason. They looked after us well. Very polite and friendly people. The view is breath taking from the room we stayed in. Food is yummylicious! Very tasty and affordable. I will definitely go back there on my next trip back to MNL as we weren’t able to go across the volcano because of bad weather.

Great relaxing place”
I really had an amazing time staying here. I was the only person booked in at the resort, but the staff was really friendly and ended up hanging out with me. They even offered me a private trip to Taal Volcano for much cheaper than the other offerings around.

Excellent”
Please fix the water system-- the supply of water on the 3rd floor (specifically room #304) is very weak and everytime we turn it to strong flow the heater likewise goes very hot, just like the water for a hot cup of coffee. We ended up taking shower outside near the pool. But the staff are nice and very friendly .

Wifi was practically non-existent. But our stay was peaceful and Taal was really beautiful”
Make sure to withdraw before going because the ATM is rather far, since you'd need to go to the city center. The staff were really nice and attentive, but they kinda want to know what your schedule is for the day, like they ask your dinner orders in advance and what time you'll be having your dinner -- so, I'm not sure how to feel about that. Their food is indeed on the pricier side. The location is really peaceful, there's karaoke and table tennis that you can use for free. Their pool was heated and you can swim till around midnight, I think. I recommend going for the Taal daytrip, it was really beautiful there. Overall, if you want a retreat from the city, this is a good choice, but if wifi is among your top priorities, maybe not.
