Daylesford and Macedon Ranges hotels & accommodations

We have just experienced a wonderful 2 night stay at the Lake House Daylesford The setting on the banks of the lake is one of great beauty, serenity and we enjoyed walking and the views and the wildlife and scenery. This attributed to our unwinding and total relax away from the city life. On arrival we were guided to our warm comfortable clean room by friendly sta...

Loved our stay at Saltus. Villa was modern, clean and had luxurious touches such as heated flooring, spa bath and a gas fireplace. Great location as well in hepburn. Spacious for a studio villa. Across the road from Peppers Mineral Spa (massage here is a must!), as well as the fine dining Argus Dining Room. Cafes within walking distance for breakfast. Will definitely s...

Centrally located between Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. Nice sized, clean room with all required items. Effective heating on a very cold night Great value for the price we paid Better reading lights would be great but not a real issue. Would recommend to others

We stayed one night in the Daylesford Royal Hotel. It is a charming old-fashioned hotel with rustic rooms. Although the room looked old-fashioned everything was very clean and neat. The room was towards the main street, which was still fine at night since there is very little traffic in Daylesford. I liked that it has a reasonably sized fridge (no minibar) where you ca...

The motel is not far from Gisborne central where all the shops are located. There is also a bus stop just outside the motel or 30 min walk to the shops. The room was very tidy and clean. The manager was very helpful and friendly. Thank you Michael for all your help. Kind Regards, The Ferguson family.

We booked and stayed in Villa 1 for the weekend! Pros - Beautiful setting, close to the lake, restaurants, shops and nice surroundings. Everything about the villa was perfect. Clean big rooms, comfortable bed, double spa bath, gas log fire, netflix on both tv’s, fully equipped kitchen, veranda both front and back deck, heater was turned on when we arrived in the mid...

Stayed at Spa Villas on Main for 2 nights with my partner. The room was very clean on arrival and had a great location. Close drive to the main strip of shops in Daylesford as well as lots of places in Hepburn Springs. We were welcomed with a very nice goodie box which included muesli, freshly ground coffee, chocolates, biscuits and more. We will definitely be back!

Me and my husband spent a wonderful 3 days weekend at the ryokan with 2 of our friends visiting from overseas. Japanese style tatami rooms with beautiful japanese garden, food, scenery and decor were all great but the service was definetely outstanding. The room also have nice indoor/outdoor seating area, which is great spot to enjoy country fresh air and morning sun....

Our stay was great. I almost cancelled the trip after I found that we were double booked for the weekend but I am sure glad that I didn't. From the moment we walked in, staff were friendly and accommodating and made every second easy and enjoyable. The beers speak for themselves (try the Little Heifer!) and the food is tasty pub food. The only negative was the tiny TV ...

Great base to enjoy Daylesford due to its central location. Our group of 3 women stayed in a unit which was well set up with three beds. It was warm, surprisingly quiet with really comfortable beds and good showers. Two bathrooms and a decent fridge in the kitchenette were both terrific.

I really nice place to stay with big and clean rooms, very friendly local staff. Location is good, although it is not in the center of Daylesford, it is very close to tourist attractions (parks and springs) and restaurant. Would definitely come back and support this business.

It’s clean, full of character and close to everything. We stayed in East 1, which is like a little unit. Privacy, warmth, and the fireplace was great. I’d go back. We didn’t see staff, but I think that’s the privacy element which makes the experience nice. Do it!

This was brilliant. We stayed overnight to attend a party in Macedon (very close by). The rooms were clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are excellent with an amazingly huge shower. The best was the FREE cook yourself breakfast in the kitchen. Eggs Bacon Toast, and all the trimmings. In fact our host even cooked it for us !

we stayed at the Daylesford central motor inn for 2 nights. we drove from Adelaide and didn't arrive in Daylesford until around 11.30pm. Darren was more than accommodating. he was more than happy to let us check in late, even delivering fresh milk to our room when we arrived. the location was great, just a short stroll to cafes and shops, the bed was comfortable and ev...

Incredible...My girlfriend and I were treated like royalty by Renee, our host. The house was everything we had hoped for in a Bed and Breakfast. We stayed in a beautiful room and the customer service was exceptional. After dinner we relaxed in front of an open fire with complementary Port and Sherry. For breakfast, we had a choice of several items from a menu and lovel...

We stayed for 2 nights, and there is nothing to be unhappy about. it has everything we needed. bed and pillows are good and soft, you can also see kangaroos in the backyard and the olive grove behind the house. nice serene setting in hepburn springs, and a short drive to hepburn springs and daylesford.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It’s a beautiful old house with lots of character and history. You have s toilet in your room and shared bathrooms are clean and modern. Lots of lovely places to sit and read or just relax and watch the wildlife. Great location for Hepburn spa and a couple of lovely restaurants are just a short walk away. Peppers Mineral Springs Retreat is a reasonably priced hotel for those seeking a quiet, romantic and relaxing getaway. The room prices are competitive in comparison to similar hotels in the area. This is one of my favorite hotels! Everything was perfect - from the amazing oversized spa bath (complete with MOR bath products) to the warmth of your own fireplace to the beautiful nature reserve that the villa backs on to. We checked in at 11pm (drove through after the F1 in Melbourne) - late check-in was no problem at all. The staff at reception was very helpful in...

Great place to get away for a weekend and visit the surrounding vineyards and scenic locations. It was like staying in a brand new house rather than a sterile hotel. We stayed in Lavender Cottage which was immaculately clean and spacious for the two of us. Also would be a good place for a long-term stay. Loved the experience and would highly recommend it.

Arrived at apartment B which was spacious for my partner and I for the weekend. Clean and the interior design was lovely. It felt very cosy. It was so great that they had a smart TV and wifi which allowed us to relax in bed and watch Netflix. The spa bath was just enough space for my partner and I to both relax in. I would come here again if I were to come back to Dayl...

Our two night stay was fine - its a quiet place with a good daily rate - I think a four star rating is a wee over the top, more like a very good 3/5 or 3.5/5 - friendly and helpful staff - rooms old and with creaky floor boards [apologies for those down below our room as we had a 5 am start and may have caused them to wake] but nevertheless a comfortable stay -

Resort had a great ambience and old world charm with lovely period furniture and fireplaces through out. Bed/Bath rooms were a good size. Bath rooms were quite modern. The cottage is very nice and peaceful. It is away from the road and you can relax without any interruptions. It was handy to be able to take food back with us rather then eating out all the time. The only downfall was there weren't a lot of pots and pans to cook with. We also got a few ants during our 3 night stay.
