“hotel in the heart of tsim sha tsui. if you want to maximize your stay in hong kong then this is the hotel for you. last minute booking afforded a reasonable price with agoda. the rooms are small but bathrooms are modern and shower was great. close to nathan road which is main road in kowloon side of hong kong. the mtr station is 3 blocks away or a nice 10 minute easy walk or if you walk fast like i do, 5 minutes tops. buffet breakfast at 100 hkg dollars or about $13 usd is an ok spread with the usual american bfast/ chinese congee, rice, noodles, salad, fruits, bread, rolls. the staff was attentive to hotel guests needs. there is a manager that stands beside the elevator near the front desk that always helps guests in operating the elevator. hotel maids greets you good morning- which is a surprise since i often go to hk and maids usually just pass you by. pleasant stay- overall.”

“must start with - splendid breakfast - reminded me of my past life in england. we were on tour to china and had our return flight from hong kong, which is just 45 minutes from shenzhen in china as opposed to above 1.5 hours for guangzhou - for international flights, and thus had just one night to spend in hong kong. earlier we thought to save some money - looking at average room rates in hong kong. but as they say "you get only monkeys, if you throw peanuts", we were shocked with room size and bathroom size (was there one really?? i think all previous travelers had to take shower while performing their pooh pooh show) in hkd 500 - which is a good amount of money for a nice room in china. instantly, we purchased a local sim card for internet (smart tone hong kong it was, just in case you're interested - hkd 48 talk value in hkd 48 retail price and hkd 24 for a 24 hour internet) and searched hotels in nearby areas.. we found langham plaza and royal plaza - as we were at argyl street of hong kong. both were five stars and thus we chose a little less expensive one.. royal plaza but were really touched with the comfort in room and splendid breakfast. though, he hotel was under maintenance that time - we were provided with two set of ear plugs (along with a mentos in each set) at reception to save our sleep in the morning but we didn't have to use them also, the manager in dining area was really nice.. it was 10:25 when i showed up for breakfast. she came up to me and told they had extended breakfast time for by minutes to 11 am so i could i call my partner from room or just fill in a few dishes for him and keep with myself. anyhow, my partner didn't show up till 11:10 and i hadn't stored anything for him. the manager still offered a personalized service by offering anything he wanted from breakfast menu.. meat, freshly cooked egg/omelette, bakery, fruits, juices, muffins, etc etc etc.. overall, a recommended hotel for all kind of travelers to hong”

“From Sept 15th to 17th, I stayed in this wonderful Hotel together with my wife and 4 colleagues (we were on a company trip). This is my 3rd trip to Hong Kong and I must say although I paid much more for the previous 2 hotels in Hong Kong Island, but this is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in Hong Kong or anywhere else! From the airport, we chose to take Bus no. A31 to take us to the hotel. The bus journey took about 55 minutes and we arrived at the hotel at about almost 8.00 p.m. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a very pleasant and friendly receptionist at the hotel who had so kindly agreed to upgrade my 3 original Standard rooms at Tower 1 into one room at Harbour View - Tower 2 (on the 85th floor!) and another Family suite room at the 82nd Floor for my 4 other colleagues! The view at both our hotel rooms were phenomenal! And I really loved my Harbour View room as the design was modern and nice and the King size bed was very comfortable. However, special mention needs to be given to the Family Suite Room here - it is Really Spacious and beautiful. There were 2 Queen size beds plus 2 single beds in the suite and it has everything- a fridge, 2 round tables, kitchen cabinets etc! I really think the hotel has been extremely generous to exchange this suite room with my original 2 standard rooms at tower 1! Meals were not a problem at all as there are very nice dim sum and chinese restaurants in and nearby the hotel. The Tsuen Wan West MTR station was also very nearby the hotel (about 15 minutes walk away) and during my 2 night stay there at the hotel, I did discover that the prices of food and other stuffs at Tsuen Wan were really much cheaper than that at Hong Kong Island. If ever I were to go to Hong Kong again, I will definitely return to stay at L'Hotel Nina et Convention Centre!”

“I had an amazing stay at Harbour Grand Hong Kong hotel. I was unable to accomplish all my tasks during a day's business trip to Hong Kong, therefore had to make a last minute booking. Because of the Chinese Dragon Boat festival, all Hong Kong's hotels were very expensive and busy that day, and the price for a 3 star hotel was almost the same as the price I found on agoda for the Grand Deluxe Harbour View with FREE Internet room at Grand Harbour Hong Kong. I decided to go ahead and book the room. Upon my arrival I was warmly greeted by the hotel staff and the check - in process was very smooth. I was pleasantly surprised when the receptionist told me that I've been upgraded to a suite. When I walked in the room I was surprised by the size and comfort the suite had.It felt like I've won the lottery for a night. The comfort of the suite made me feel like home away from home. The gym,swimming pool and other facilities were also great. I will certainly recommend this hotel to all my friends and will stay again on my next visit to Hong Kong.”

“We stayed at the langham place hotel in Hong Kong for two nights in November 2009. It was well located next to a large shopping Mall where a good selection of Restaurants could be found in the food hall that served a good breakfast and evening meals at a reasonavle price. The hotel was within a few minutes walk of the MTR which was well priced, clean and ran on time. We had the experience of travelling in the rush hour when the trains were jammed packed but there were no problems getting on or off. People actually got off the train to let us off! The room we had looked out towards the harbour and we had wonderful night views of Hong Kong. The room was well serviced and had a good selection of toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. The mini bar was well stocked although expensive. We used the hotel transfer service when arriving and leaving Hong Kong and found it efficient and prompt. We were dropped off first and picked up last which suited us fine. The journey to the airport takes about 30 minutes but allow at least an hour because of the traffic. We thoroughly enjoyed Hong Kong and would use the Langham Place Hotel again.”

“This trip to Hong Kong,I had decided to make a change from the past, move away from downtown Tsim Shai Tsui to a more relax location. I was greatly surprised by the large room offered by this hotel. General hotels in Hong Kong have rather small room. Park hotel is ideal if one is looking for some greenery instead of the concrete jungle .Although it is located far from down town on the Northern side of the Kowloon territory and near the Shenzhen boarder. Hong kong has one of the best rail/and mass transit system. Transit time from hotel to down town is a bliss. The 45 min to n hour ride provides an opportunity to experience the sight and sound of the normal Hong Kong life. Shopping: This hotel is connected to the largest shopping mall serving the Satin district. Pricing is better. Food around the hotel is a gourmets centre.”

“Butterfly on Prat was amazing. It was easy to get to, close to a lot of stores, restaurants, and places to see, and the staff was superb - friendly and efficient! We were a family of 5 (with 3 adult children), and the 2 rooms we got was kinda small for the us kids. Too bad all the twin bed rooms were fully booked, that would've been better. But that one little discomfort aside, we had a nice stay here. The internet connection was free and fast! I could not have asked for a better option. They also provide free printing services, for those of you who need your boarding passes printed after an online check-in for your flight. How to get there (the fastest way): - Take the Airport Express, and get down at Kowloon Station. - Take the free Airport Shuttle, and get down at Park Hotel (2nd stop). Butterfly on Prat will be on Prat Ave., just a block away and a short walk from Park Hotel. How to get back to the airport the fastest way: - Go back to the bus stop in front of Park Hotel on Cameron Rd., and wait for the Airport Shuttle bus - Get off at Kowloon Station - Take the Airport Express back to the airport Places to see around Butterfly on Prat: - Wah Kee Snacks (corner of Prat Ave. and Hart Ave.): delicious street food! Try the lobster & chicken balls with curry sauce. - 7 Eleven and Circle K are near - Hanjyuku Kobo (Cameron Rd. near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR B2 exit): BEST. CHEESE TARTS. EVER. - Cotton On/Typo, Nike, Lush stores on Granville Rd Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station is of walking distance from Butterfly, and you get to see different stores too on the way. From there, lots of places are accessible by train. Do check out the Apliu Street Flea Market (get off at Sham Shui Po station) for gadgets & electrical things; Fa Yuen Sneaker Street (get off at Mongkok station) for LOTS of sneakers. There are lots of museums too, near at Butterfly on Prat: Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Science Museum, Hong Kong Space Museum, and Hong Kong Museum of Art (which was u”

“I had an unexpected extra night in Hong Kong so chose this hotel as it is quite new and was cheap. The lobby design is nice and big, check in was very quick. Yes the rooms are very small, mine had a double bed that basically filled the room and the bathroom had a half bath in it, which may have been better suited for just a shower and the bed was quite hard however the room design was new, it was clean, quiet and was fine for the 1 night I had there. If I had to spend a single night in Hong Kong I would have no problem going back there. If I was in Hong Kong for multiple nights I would probably choose a hotel with a bigger room.”

“I was only there one day but could see that it is a top-class hotel. It has al the mod-cons in the room including a massive LED TV with a welcoming message for you and even speakers in the bathroom. Going to this hotel also really helped as I arrived at about 1am in Hong Kong and so didn't need to look for taxis or late-night transport and then hassle with check-ins in Hong Kong City. Most times you can only check in after 2pm anyway. And the good thing is it is not any more expensive than the normal (and usually much smaller) hotels in Hong Kong City.”

“I was highly impressed by Auberge Hotel. This is a brand new hotel in its "soft" opening phase. Large rooms, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, everything is new. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, great value. Just be aware that you CAN'T catch a taxi to this hotel because Discovery Bay is a car-free zone. The only way to get there is by ferry from Central then bus from DB Pier, or train/bus from Hong Kong Airport, or hotel shuttle bus. You really need to have a plan in place to get to the hotel before you arrive in Hong Kong. This is my new number 1 hotel in Hong Kong. Don't fear the remote location, Disneyland is a short bus/train ride away (but allow up to an hour on the weekend because there is no Sunny Bay connection). Central is 10 minutes by bus to DB Pier, then 20 minutes by fast ferry. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Simply outstanding and great value for money.”

“We lived in Hong Kong in 1977, TST East didn't exist then. So when we decided to visit again to reminisce our past it was the perfect choice for us and the New World Millennium Hotel is exactly where we wanted to stay. We booked the Deluxe Harbour View and it was fabulous, we arrived about 8pm and walking into the room just blew me away Hong Kong island all lit up & was everything I had expected, and in the morning watching the Harbour come to life was just as amazing. The walk from the Hotel to Star Ferry was a treat along the Harbour front was only 10/15min walk. But best of all was Billy Chan Chief Concierge it was like having our own personal trip planner. Hong Kong has changed so much since 1977, Billy would map us the easiest & fastest route to go where we wanted to go, giving us all the bus numbers to get us there as well. And the night we wanted to go to the Ozone Sky Pub & Restaurant he suggested we take the free bus there & back and to go early to get the best daytime & sunset views that was the Highlight of our holiday thank you so much Billy for all your help & information. All the staff were as you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. There was some renovations going on the hotel and when we booked with Agoda it did explain this but to be honest we went on holiday and were out exploring HK from 9.30am till 4pm so the noise we experienced was hardly any at all, I did read some of the reviews people have posted about the noise but really there's thousands of hotels to choose from in HK, and if you knew there was going to be some noise going on why stay there & complain later???? This hotel, staff, & holiday are now in my top 10 Holidays ever Dawn & Michael Thomas from United Kingdom”

“It was our first time in Hong Kong so we decided to get a 4 Star Hotel. After arriving at Hong Kong airport it took us a few minutes to find the Harbour Center Counter, but after we found it, we felt taken care of already. Cost us HKD$140 each for the airport shuttle to the Hotel, it was a fairly large bus, and it only seated a few of us. This is where we learned that the Airport Shuttle caters to other hotels too. Think of it this way, if you have large bags or luggage, a few bucks is worth it when going to and from the airport because you are going to walk a lot. My bag was a large duffle and it was 24 lbs. and I was so grateful I opted for the shuttle going to and from the Airport. Plus, you get to see Hong Kong more from the bus, unlike when you take the train which goes into the subway after the first 5-6 stations. When we arrived at the hotel, check in was a breeze, they just get the impression of my card and thats it, there was someone who helped us get our things from the bus to the check in counter then from the check-in counter to our room. But be sure to give a separate tip to the one who carries your bag from the bus to the hotel, because it will be a different person who will bring your bags up. The room was quite big/clean compared to other Hotels our friends stayed at. Their's were around 21 sq mts, ours was about 28 sq mts. they were complaining that they had traffic going to and from their bathrooms, while we were comfortable in a King sized bed, we had a stocked mini ref and we had cable. Only problem is internet costed around a HK$100/day. We only stayed at the hotel to sleep and bathe mostly, but we would've loved to use the gym and the pool. Both were clean and complete. Maybe because there are monthly tenants staying at the serviced suites of the hotel. They had a sauna but I didn't get to use it. My girlfriend was able to use the pool, her only complaint was that it wasn't heated. We are coming back, soon.”

“the bp international hotel is the perfect hotel to those who wish to visit hongkong for shopping, sight seeing, food tripping, or simply just getting to know its cultural heritage. the hotel can be reached either via taxi cab or mtr from the airport. it's location is very strategic. every necessity could be obtained in a walking distance (money exchange, 7-eleven convenience store, street food, mtr station). it is also walking distance from the ever-famous canton road, for people who love to shop for designer items such as gucci, marc jacobs, lv, and many more. harbour city mall is also located near by. the austin mtr station is only 3 blocks away from the hotel. from there you can go to just about any point in hong kong as you wish! it is the cheapest mode of transport, and very easy to use. the hotel staff is very accommodating and can speak english very well. the hotel can also provide tourist concerns such as directions, tour guides, maps, and more. the rooms are small, but efficient for a stay in hong kong where you spend the whole day outside. it is perfect for relaxing after a long day of shopping and sight seeing. overall, i had a pleasant stay at the bp international hotel. im sure any one will also love this hotel! book now!”

“We came through Hong Kong for business. Two families, each with an infant. What we wanted was a hotel in Hong Kong that was decently priced and had a swimming pool for the children. This hotel is well-designed and well-maintained. Front desk staff are very professional. There is an hourly shuttle which takes you to/from Tsim Sha Tsui (Peninsula Hotel). In our opinion, the best part about the hotel was the large and beautiful swimming pool. There is a shallow kid's pool which was excellent for the children to play in.”

“GDH nailed it, again. Check in was a breeze, as always. I had booked an Executive again, and was totally surprised to have been upgraded to a 1 bedroom on the Executive Floor (16). Simply outstanding, especially for the price. GREAT bed, AWESOME bathroom, and comfortable amenities. The location is spot on for pretty much anything anybody would want to do in Hong Kong as it's just a couple blocks from Wanchai MTR, and a short walk down to Central/Hong Kong station as well. It's surrounded by restaurants of every flavor, and is, in my opinion, one of the hotels that gives the "best bang for the buck" while in Hong Kong. I highly encourage people to take advantage of the fitness room even if you're not a fitness buff - one of the BEST fitness centers for a hotel this size I have ever seen. Wharney GDH - one of MY favorite hotels in Hong Kong.”

“All hotel rooms in Hong Kong tend to be very small and those in this hotel are no exception, so don’t expect more room than is absolutely necessary. Having said that, the rooms were very well laid out and full of the latest gadgets – they were also clean, comfortable and ergonomically perfect and much better than in some of the ones we have stayed in on Hong Kong Island! The food was good, though a bit more variety would have elevated it to a higher level, and sitting outside in the rooftop restaurant was a delight even though the temperature wasn’t that warm – the views of the city and Victoria Harbour were amazing! The hotel runs a shuttle bus to Mongkok MTR station and it’s just a short walk from there to attractions such as the Ladies Market and Nathan Road – you have to walk back, or get the MTR back to Olympian City station which is then a short walk back to the hotel. Alternatively taxis are cheap and plentiful! A great hotel to stay in Hong Kong, with reasonable size rooms and at reasonable prices – we’d stay here again!”

“tsim sha tsui is the place to stay for leisure travellers looking to do some shopping in hong kong. there are countless hotels in tst, but the gateway is my top choice given its location, price and quality of service. the gateway is surrounded by malls and shops, being situated along canton road, and accessible through the harbor center mall. at night, visitors can have a leisurely walk along the promenade with the majestic hong kong skyline in the background. room rates at the gateway is quite reasonable compared to the marco polo hong kong and prince since it is situated farthest from the bay area among the three. nonetheless, the quality of the rooms, responsiveness and pleasing personality of the staff more than makes up for it. we look forward to return to the gateway hotel the next time we visit hk.”

“Hotel rooms in Hong Kong hotels are notoriously small, and the "superior" rooms in the Metropark hotel at 21 sq.m. are just adequate. However, the staff is universally excellent, and the service first-rate. If you want a double bed, you had better phone or e-mail ahead of time, because otherwise there may be none available when you check in. The hotel's location is convenient for anyone's purposes, with all the possible conveniences and services close by. The buffet breakfast was adequate, except for the fact that there was only sliced melon available as fruit. Bus A21 from the airport stops 50 metres past the main entrance to the hotel. Returning to the airport, however, is a little trickier: a) the airport shuttle (HKD 105) takes 1 1/2 hours because it picks up passengers from other hotels; b) a shuttle bus to the train station and then the airport express (total: HKD 95) is probably the best option; a taxi costs HKD 260 -300).”

“Regal Riverside's glory comes in it's design which is straightforward, convenient and relaxing whilst maintaining a charmingly simple but elegant style. I think it is perfect for families on holiday and tour groups whether they be your conventional tour group or school groups (we saw a few groups and they looked quite pleased). The hotel itself has a welcoming and pleasant ambiance and is quite stylish- once you enter the high-ceiling lobby there is a waft of perfume which invites you affably into a nicely decorated lobby. While it is not necessarily an overly 'extravagant' and 'grandiose' style hotel, I believe it is an ideal hotel to go on holiday as it retains an almost homely comfort and appeal after walking a long day in the colourful streets of Hong Kong. The hotel staff are also helpful and friendly. While it was a fabulous stay in the Regal Riverside (and at a good price), the few small problems we had was that in our bathroom there wasn't a fan and a leak near our cupboards (which was fixed quickly the next day without us even contacting the staff)but overall it was inherently a very nice hotel to stay in. Also note: The area of Shatin while not in the CBD of Hong Kong, is quite lovely being a more calm and relaxed area. Since the transport system in Hong Kong is efficient and well-designed for its large population, the hotel's location is not much of a obstacle in having a dense day in Hong Kong packed with sight-seeing and wandering around.”

“the prudential hotel is the hotel that i stay at all the time when i stay in hong kong. the location is ideal as it sits on top of the jordan mtr station. it's also centrally located on nathan road with shopping and restaurants on either side of the street. the rooms are clean and modern however they are small. the hotel is reasonably priced for hong kong hotels. my range is $usd and below a night. everywhere in hong kong is accessible by subway which is the main conveinence. taxi are expensive in hong kong and the subway makes an affordable way to explore hong kong. i give the hotel 5 stars and will stay there again everytime i come to hong kong.”

“This is my second time in Hong Kong for 2012. Compared to my previous trip, this hotel is definitely much more comfortable in terms of the area. Location was rather convenient as well as there is the Airport Express Shuttle Bus (H2) available. (To and fro from Hong Kong station). The hotel service staff were warm and friendly and have a good command of English. The staff were well trained in the local tourist attractions and had no problems answering our queries. Room service was rather prompt as well when we requested for extra towels. Definitely a pleasant stay and I do hope to be with them again for my next stay in Hong Kong.”

“I stayed more than 5 times at this hotel. Love this hotel because the EXCELLENT location. MTR Yau Ma Tei is just around the corner and many bus lines stop right next the hotel. Temple street, Ladies market, shopping area Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, innumerable restaurants are on walking distance. Laundry is just on the opposite of the main entrance of the hotel. There is also a small 7/11 (supermarket) just on the corner. The space of the room is according standard of Hong Kong just fine. I stayed mostly in the premier room which suits maximum 3 persons and that's okay. Also if you book the premier room you can use the handy wifi spot which you can take outside so you have ALWAYS wifi with you. It's free and very very nice! The breakfast is fine and if you stayed for 2 weeks (in my case) than it will be a little bit boring at the end;-). Oriental part: congee, noodles, vegetables, miso soup and dim sum. Western part: mini croissants & sweet patries, toast, gluten free bread, juice, milk, yoghurt, fresh fruits (very day: watermelon, pineapple and dragon fruit), cheese and the cook prepares any various egg. In general the hotel staff is very polite, friendly and helpfull. Also the chambermaids are very friendly especially the lady who cleans our room 1084. Thank you so much! I can highly recommend this hotel especially if you don't stay long in Hong Kong. Because the excellent location you will save a lot of travel time.”

“The hotel is one of the better ones that we had stay in Hong Kong. It is : 1) To get to the hotel from the airport is so convenient. By taking the public bus, it takes us almost to the doorsteps of the hotel. 2) Local food is all around. It is so convenient to have a taste of Hong Kong by stepping out of the hotel. 3) Public transport to other parts of Hong Kong is so convenient and cheap. Just step out of the hotel, there are tram and bus rides into the city centre. For those who need a rest and taste local Hong Kong fare, we strongly recommend Ramada Hong Kong Hotel.”

“I had an enjoyable stay in Shamrock hotel. I have been to Hong Kong a few times. This is the best hotel I have stayed so far in Hong Kong. I have witnessed in many occasions during my 7 days stay that the staff is willing to go extra mile to assist and make tourists comfortable. Even the cleaner helped to get the lift for me before I walked to the lift. In another occasion, there were two families with young and very mischievous children. They were running around and climbing up and down at the sitting area. The bell boy immediately went forward and asked the parents and the children politely not to disturb others in the sitting area. In another night, there was a man who rested his feet in the sofa. This is definitely unsightly and not hygiene. Within less than 30 seconds, the staff asked him politely not to do so. Overall, I am happy to have selected this hotel for my recent stay and will definitely go back again in my next trip. Keep it up!! Shamrock !”

“This hotel is an ultimate in luxury. Pleasantly surprised!! They upgraded our room to a suite which is a right timing, we went to Hong Kong for my wife's birthday. My wife had a great time celebrating her birthday there. You brought joy to her special day, 🎂Thank you for your Sweet Thoughtful GIFT! 🎁  Our stay at Park Hotel Hong Kong. was full of joy. Loved it! Breakfast buffet is so good.  Wish we could have tried the lunch and dinner buffet, will definitely try next time. The suite is beautiful and is so great; incredibly spacious perfect for a family of 4 or for couples. The suite has a powder room, a bathroom with tub -and- shower with great water flow and safe water heater. Beds: mattress-and-pillows, even the sofas are very comfortable you could sleep all day. The room is perfect...Eveything is clean!  Park Hotel's environment is really relaxing and everyone was very nice to us. Front Desk Manager, Front Desk Staff, Concierge team are all polite and friendly. Great job! Our hotel's location is very convenient to the nearby shopping malls and restaurants, and is conveniently located near a Catholic Church.and we are so happy for that. Just a 5-8 minute walk from/to MTR station. Oh, by the way, there are always at least two taxi cabs parked outside the hotel, easy to bring hotel guests to the International Airport or other places in Hong Kong. This is really a great hotel to stay in. (*We did have 2 minor problems: 1. With WIFI access in our room, a little weak; 2. No English-Hollywood Movie Channel with drama/comedy series and Disney channel. Only with English documentary channels.) Overall, we (me and my wife) are very happy with our weekend birthday getaway. “The hotel is located right on top of the China Hong Kong Harbour. There are routes to Macao, Zhuhai, Shenzhen and others.. I believe it is quite convenient for business traveler from the Pearl Delta. There is also a great shopping mall just below the hotel. It is very convenient to shop and fetch a ferry back to Macao. Canton Road and Marina corridor, Star Avenue are also within walking distances. I think this is quite a bargain for a centrally located hotel in Hong Kong for its price level. Highly recommended!”

“It was my first time to travel abroad and me and my colleague have limited budget hence we have to book in a cheaper place where we could stay for four days and three nights. We booked at Ashoka Hostel because based on my readings, they got good reviews and positive feedbacks from tourists who have been there. We weren’t wrong for checking-in at Ashoka. When we arrived, we were greeted and treated nicely by the hotel staff. They were pleasant and helpful. Our room was cozy, quite small but it was clean and well ventilated. It has aircon and electric fan, exhaust fan in the bathroom, telephone and hot and cold shower. “1.) Location and staff The location of this hostel is excellent, steps away from the MTR and few hundred meters away from the ferry to Central. The staff are nice and hospitable enough to show us the room. 2.) Comfort First of all, understand that this is Hong Kong:- floor area is a scarcity and very expensive in this country. The room that i experienced was very small (6' x 12' = 72 sq ft). This includes the bathroom and toilet as well. Sheets was stained slightly with unknown brown substance with the visible hair on pillow case. The pictures are deceiving. If you are looking for a big and luxurious room then get ready with a bigger hotel budget because this is HONG KONG and nothing is cheap especially real estate! This is a budget hostel for the ones who are just looking for a space to sleep. 3.) Chungking Mansion Google this place where the hostel is located and you will find out that it consists of 5 blocks (Block A to Block E). The name sounds glamorous but as mentioned in other reviews, there are a lot of people on the Ground floor trying to sell you things. Although saying that, they are harmless and just doing their job. So if you are expecting a grand reception area with a bell boy and a concierge, you are better off to be looking somewhere else. 4.) Food/Dining Indian/Pakistani food available on the Ground Level. Visit Hong Kong to experience Indian and Pakistani food, why not eyh? A little adventure on the palate. 5.) Value for money Only stay here if you are on your own, on a tight budget or backpacking. Definitely not a place to impress your family/girlfriend/boyfriend/fiance/in-laws/VIP/etc.”

“I'd highly recommend this place over others in Hong Kong, very cheap for the money and our room was clean, although tiny. The location is in a very convenient part of Hong Kong just across the water from Central and near a subway stop, the only reason I give Location 3 stars is because it is located inside Chungking Mansion where many other hostels are located, and you will be accosted by tons of people trying to sell you watches, suits, food or other hostels whenever you enter the large building. They are not threatening but very aggressive if you look like a foreigner. Other than that issue, I'd use this place again.”

And if you want fine dining, Sky Lounge of Sheraton is just 100 meters away. If you just love to relax and chill, Starbucks is just 300meters away. “Hostel is located inside the famous Chunking mansion. Everyone in Hong Kong knows about this building. Near to metro right middle of city. It's a building with more than 50plus hostels ( infact 90percent of hostels in Agoda are inside this building ) shops, money exchange, restaurants are available downstairs. If you're aim is to stay at hotel all the time during your trip then don't choose it. I used it for sleeping in night, taking shower and I spent entire day seeing Hong Kong. Lifts will be busy during daytime. Leave early for the day and come late at night then lift will be free. You get to live with multi national roommates. Free coffee, microwave, blanket but no Lock for bathroom but you have locker facility for your valuables. If you are ready to adjust with minimum facilities,small room and crowded building then go for it. After all you are going stay just for 3-4 days.. Be ready to adjust your self when you are paying so cheap amount to stay.”

“I stayed in this hotel so often already and wrote so many reviews in which I mentioned the top value for money, the free WiFi, the equipment of the rooms including fridge, and of course Sherie, John, Cristy, and the rest of the staff who let you feel welcomed throughout your stay. So now I would like to write a few things to avoid someone being disappointed when arriving or staying here. First of all, the building. If you arrive the first time at the Chungking Mansions you might be a bit... overwhelmed. It looks quite chaotic and there are all these hawkers asking you whether you need a room. But just ignore all of that, because I assure you that the Day and Night Hotel is really great. The elevators can be a problem because they are quite small, but for going down you can go through the hotel, exit it in Block E and take the elevator there, it's often less crowded. And there are staircases as well, I use them sometimes. The second thing I should mention is the room size. Rooms are generally small in Hong Kong. If you want a big room you have to be rich. So please keep in mind that the rooms are small here. But they are very clean and in a top condition and of course with a (small) private bathroom”

“I stayed at Fortunate Guesthouse for a week. I was blown away by how great the staff was. Very friendly! And she was constantly changing the linens for me, and providing me with new towels, and in general keeping the place clean and tidy. I would often come back at night to find her cleaning the bathrooms or other facilities. Cheap with a good location - you can't get any better than that. Quite safe as well, as long as you ignore the hawkers when first entering Chungking Mansion. If you're going to stay in a hostel in Hong Kong, make it this one.”

“The ground floor of Chungking Mansions is very crowded and full of merchants and stores, run mostly by South Asians. This area is a smorgasbord of people from all parts of the world, with a considerable number of Indians, Africans, as well as Caucasians and East Asians. The lifts were tiny, with room for up to only seven people, and the lines were long especially during the evenings. My friends were not pleased with the bustling atmosphere downstairs but I found it just fine, since we were staying in a backpacker hostel and I was willing to immerse myself into the culture. The room was small but clean and well-maintained. The staff were friendly and accommodating, despite the language barrier. There was a fridge and safe for valuable items. The beds were comfortable, the airconditioning was great, and the shower had heating. The location is perfect, just a few minutes' walk away from the Star Ferry Pier. I think it's the perfect location in Hong Kong to be. My only problem was the tiny lifts, really! Would recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind the busy”

“One thing you have to realize is that this is Hong Kong and real estate is super expensive, so being a couple backpacker it was hard to find an affordable price without compromising the quality of the hotel too much if you know what I mean. But I must say I lucked out with New London Hotel who apparently also owned Marigold hotel in another block. As you would expect in Hong Kong, all the rooms are small but clean in New London which was most important to me. Everything was great about the hotel except when they had to move us to another room in marigold since we were occupying three person room being only two. The good news is that it ended up being a better room with even better service from Raj and Zenan. They were great!! Best of luck ;)!!”

“I always stay at one of the hotels of Dhillon Group when I'm in Hong Kong, like the Days Hotel or Day and Night Hotel. The rooms are the best in the area among budget hotels, although small, but in a top condition and clean, and equipped with not only the basic things like air conditioning but also sometimes a fridge or safe, depending on the room, the hot water of the shower is constant, and the WiFi is fast, which is important for me. It's a top value for money. But most importantly I always feel welcomed, if you talk to Sherie or John or most of the staff you will get the best possible service. I can fully recommend staying here and actually do this whenever someone asks me”

“This isn't a hotel! So I wasnt expecting much, especially becoz many friends mention that the mansion is not exactly the best building in the area. But Tom's exceeds my expectation. I've been travelling to many places, Tom's surely is one of the cleanest. If you stay here and wanting to complain, let me remind you again: this isn't a hotel! It's a guest house, in the middle of busy Tsim Tsa Sui. With the same facilies and quality, you need to pay at least twice as much in a 3-star hotel nearby. “An honest review for a choosy traveller: First- the location is great because it is at the center of a tourists interests site. Although Jordan (near temple street) can also be an option because it just a few minutes walk away, the location of this this hotel is a lot closer to the harbour going to Macau, canton road for shopping and other attractions like the avenue of the stars, the peninsula, the cultural center, etc. Second- the owner is so accommodating, he gave us a good for three (3) rooms instead of a room with twin bed. I asked for a large bed when booking and, I think, this is his way of compensating the regular small rooms found in Hong Kong.. He gave us a room with one twin bed and one single bed. Our room was approx. about 20-23sqm if I am not mistaken including the comfort room which was also wide enough to take a shower. He also mentioned about walk-ins, best to book your rooms prior to being there because they will transfer you to other hotels if you don't. The place is good - Chung King Mansion is crowded but if you have a company, it is okay. At the ground level, a lot of people will offer you accommodations, a lot of people are passing through because of the money changers which you can have your money changed to HKD for the best price and it is also where people buy souvenirs, etc. (Not recommended, go to temple street instead) The building has two (2) small elevators hence, the long queue to your floor but it was relatively ok for us as we avoid going back to the hotel at peak times like 6/7pm. This hotel is located at the 17th floor which we think is okay because when you have to go down, the elevator is empty as this is the top most floor compared to other hostels which is in the middle of the building. Often times, I see people using the stairs instead because once the elevator gets to their floor, it is already full. The elevator can accommodate 6-8 persons depending on how big or small they are in body size. Bed is okay with clean shee”

“We stayed at the Unique Hotel for 3 nights in August during a two week trip in Hong Kong, in our experience if you're going to stay in the Chung King Mansions then this is the place to stay! Kumar the owner is very friendly and nice as were the cleaning staff. This place is located in the semi-infamous Chung King Mansions, you'll probably read horror stories online about it but in my experience travelling with my girlfriend its nowhere near as bad as you read. The accommodation is located on the 9th floor, accessible by the E Elevator, sometimes the que for the elevator was 5-10mins (in August, not a peak period) but if you don't have luggage on a normal day you can easily walk the 9 floors via stairs, especially down. The Unique Hotel is clean, friendly, facilities are as pictured and described, in room air-con is great, the free WiFi is fast and reliable and there is free cold drinking water. We would highly recommend choosing this place if you are looking to stay in the CKM :)”

There was one time in hong kong last 2017 when there is difficulty in booking hotels so i tried looking for a hostel to temporary stay thats the time i tried Cebu Hostel thinking the owner is a Filipino but when i meet the owner he's not a Filipino but they are very friendly and the hostel space is nice and clean. Everytime i visited hong kong alone since i used visit every quarter i stay at cebu Hostel and happy visiting Cebu staff and management. Try Cebu Hostel and meet these nice people!”

“I was just over-nighting on my way to Mainland China and Dhillon Hotel is in a good location for me as a way-station between the airport and the East Rail Line to China. The staff here are friendly and will help you out. One example: I was up in the middle of the night and needed a new battery for the mouse on my computer and one of the gentlemen at the front desk kindly gave me what I needed. The rooms are small but that's to be expected in this part of Hong Kong and for the price the rooms here are good value. I'm sure I'll book in at this hotel again next time I'm in Hong Kong. “must start with - splendid breakfast - reminded me of my past life in england. we were on tour to china and had our return flight from hong kong, which is just 45 minutes from shenzhen in china as opposed to above 1.5 hours for guangzhou - for international flights, and thus had just one night to spend in hong kong. earlier we thought to save some money - looking at average room rates in hong kong. but as they say "you get only monkeys, if you throw peanuts", we were shocked with room size and bathroom size (was there one really?? i think all previous travelers had to take shower while performing their pooh pooh show) in hkd 500 - which is a good amount of money for a nice room in china. instantly, we purchased a local sim card for internet (smart tone hong kong it was, just in case you're interested - hkd 48 talk value in hkd 48 retail price and hkd 24 for a 24 hour internet) and searched hotels in nearby areas.. we found langham plaza and royal plaza - as we were at argyl street of hong kong. both were five stars and thus we chose a little less expensive one.. royal plaza but were really touched with the comfort in room and splendid breakfast. though, he hotel was under maintenance that time - we were provided with two set of ear plugs (along with a mentos in each set) at reception to save our sleep in the morning but we didn't have to use them also, the manager in dining area was really nice.. it was 10:25 when i showed up for breakfast. she came up to me and told they had extended breakfast time for by minutes to 11 am so i could i call my partner from room or just fill in a few dishes for him and keep with myself. anyhow, my partner didn't show up till 11:10 and i hadn't stored anything for him. the manager still offered a personalized service by offering anything he wanted from breakfast menu.. meat, freshly cooked egg/omelette, bakery, fruits, juices, muffins, etc etc etc.. overall, a recommended hotel for all kind of travelers to hong”

“From Sept 15th to 17th, I stayed in this wonderful Hotel together with my wife and 4 colleagues (we were on a company trip). This is my 3rd trip to Hong Kong and I must say although I paid much more for the previous 2 hotels in Hong Kong Island, but this is by far the best hotel I have ever stayed in Hong Kong or anywhere else! From the airport, we chose to take Bus no. A31 to take us to the hotel. The bus journey took about 55 minutes and we arrived at the hotel at about almost 8.00 p.m. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a very pleasant and friendly receptionist at the hotel who had so kindly agreed to upgrade my 3 original Standard rooms at Tower 1 into one room at Harbour View - Tower 2 (on the 85th floor!) and another Family suite room at the 82nd Floor for my 4 other colleagues! The view at both our hotel rooms were phenomenal! And I really loved my Harbour View room as the design was modern and nice and the King size bed was very comfortable. However, special mention needs to be given to the Family Suite Room here - it is Really Spacious and beautiful. There were 2 Queen size beds plus 2 single beds in the suite and it has everything- a fridge, 2 round tables, kitchen cabinets etc! I really think the hotel has been extremely generous to exchange this suite room with my original 2 standard rooms at tower 1! Meals were not a problem at all as there are very nice dim sum and chinese restaurants in and nearby the hotel. The Tsuen Wan West MTR station was also very nearby the hotel (about 15 minutes walk away) and during my 2 night stay there at the hotel, I did discover that the prices of food and other stuffs at Tsuen Wan were really much cheaper than that at Hong Kong Island. If ever I were to go to Hong Kong again, I will definitely return to stay at L'Hotel Nina et Convention Centre!”

“I had an amazing stay at Harbour Grand Hong Kong hotel. I was unable to accomplish all my tasks during a day's business trip to Hong Kong, therefore had to make a last minute booking. Because of the Chinese Dragon Boat festival, all Hong Kong's hotels were very expensive and busy that day, and the price for a 3 star hotel was almost the same as the price I found on agoda for the Grand Deluxe Harbour View with FREE Internet room at Grand Harbour Hong Kong. I decided to go ahead and book the room. Upon my arrival I was warmly greeted by the hotel staff and the check - in process was very smooth. I was pleasantly surprised when the receptionist told me that I've been upgraded to a suite. When I walked in the room I was surprised by the size and comfort the suite had.It felt like I've won the lottery for a night. The comfort of the suite made me feel like home away from home. The gym,swimming pool and other facilities were also great. I will certainly recommend this hotel to all my friends and will stay again on my next visit to Hong Kong.”

“We stayed at the langham place hotel in Hong Kong for two nights in November 2009. It was well located next to a large shopping Mall where a good selection of Restaurants could be found in the food hall that served a good breakfast and evening meals at a reasonavle price. The hotel was within a few minutes walk of the MTR which was well priced, clean and ran on time. We had the experience of travelling in the rush hour when the trains were jammed packed but there were no problems getting on or off. People actually got off the train to let us off! The room we had looked out towards the harbour and we had wonderful night views of Hong Kong. The room was well serviced and had a good selection of toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. The mini bar was well stocked although expensive. We used the hotel transfer service when arriving and leaving Hong Kong and found it efficient and prompt. We were dropped off first and picked up last which suited us fine. The journey to the airport takes about 30 minutes but allow at least an hour because of the traffic. We thoroughly enjoyed Hong Kong and would use the Langham Place Hotel again.”

“This trip to Hong Kong,I had decided to make a change from the past, move away from downtown Tsim Shai Tsui to a more relax location. I was greatly surprised by the large room offered by this hotel. General hotels in Hong Kong have rather small room. Park hotel is ideal if one is looking for some greenery instead of the concrete jungle .Although it is located far from down town on the Northern side of the Kowloon territory and near the Shenzhen boarder. Hong kong has one of the best rail/and mass transit system. Transit time from hotel to down town is a bliss. The 45 min to n hour ride provides an opportunity to experience the sight and sound of the normal Hong Kong life. Shopping: This hotel is connected to the largest shopping mall serving the Satin district. Pricing is better. Food around the hotel is a gourmets centre.”

“I was only there one day but could see that it is a top-class hotel. It has al the mod-cons in the room including a massive LED TV with a welcoming message for you and even speakers in the bathroom. Going to this hotel also really helped as I arrived at about 1am in Hong Kong and so didn't need to look for taxis or late-night transport and then hassle with check-ins in Hong Kong City. Most times you can only check in after 2pm anyway. And the good thing is it is not any more expensive than the normal (and usually much smaller) hotels in Hong Kong City.”

“I was highly impressed by Auberge Hotel. This is a brand new hotel in its "soft" opening phase. Large rooms, very comfortable, spotlessly clean, everything is new. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, great value. Just be aware that you CAN'T catch a taxi to this hotel because Discovery Bay is a car-free zone. The only way to get there is by ferry from Central then bus from DB Pier, or train/bus from Hong Kong Airport, or hotel shuttle bus. You really need to have a plan in place to get to the hotel before you arrive in Hong Kong. This is my new number 1 hotel in Hong Kong. Don't fear the remote location, Disneyland is a short bus/train ride away (but allow up to an hour on the weekend because there is no Sunny Bay connection). Central is 10 minutes by bus to DB Pier, then 20 minutes by fast ferry. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. Simply outstanding and great value for money.”

“We lived in Hong Kong in 1977, TST East didn't exist then. So when we decided to visit again to reminisce our past it was the perfect choice for us and the New World Millennium Hotel is exactly where we wanted to stay. We booked the Deluxe Harbour View and it was fabulous, we arrived about 8pm and walking into the room just blew me away Hong Kong island all lit up & was everything I had expected, and in the morning watching the Harbour come to life was just as amazing. The walk from the Hotel to Star Ferry was a treat along the Harbour front was only 10/15min walk. But best of all was Billy Chan Chief Concierge it was like having our own personal trip planner. Hong Kong has changed so much since 1977, Billy would map us the easiest & fastest route to go where we wanted to go, giving us all the bus numbers to get us there as well. And the night we wanted to go to the Ozone Sky Pub & Restaurant he suggested we take the free bus there & back and to go early to get the best daytime & sunset views that was the Highlight of our holiday thank you so much Billy for all your help & information. All the staff were as you would expect from a hotel of this calibre. There was some renovations going on the hotel and when we booked with Agoda it did explain this but to be honest we went on holiday and were out exploring HK from 9.30am till 4pm so the noise we experienced was hardly any at all, I did read some of the reviews people have posted about the noise but really there's thousands of hotels to choose from in HK, and if you knew there was going to be some noise going on why stay there & complain later???? This hotel, staff, & holiday are now in my top 10 Holidays ever Dawn & Michael Thomas from United Kingdom”

“We stayed in Hong KOng for four days and i am glad i chose this place. i have read reviews before, and although there are hundreds of positive, glowing reports, i read the negative reviews. and you know what? those people probably are just miserable old people. This hotel is the best hotel we have stayed in in Hong Kong. we have visited Hong Kong before, but this by far is the best place to be. it is in an area where "new hong kong" and "old hong kong" is within reach. there are schools nearby so there are smaller shops and loads of malls in the area for your convenience. it is also a short walk to the nearest MTR, and the view from our room was spectacular! We got a club room, and since we recently got married, we were given a complimentary bottle of delicious wine upon check in. thank you hotel icon! Wit the club facilities we are given access to the above and beyond restaurant for breakfast (as well as the market restaurant if we fancied local fare). tea, coffee and cakes were served from 3pm to 5pm, cocktails, wine, cheese, canapes etc were served from 6pm to 8pm. We spent a few lazy days in the hotel and the food, the staff and the amenities were impeccable. will definitely go again!!”

“Hotel Vic on the Harbour is probably one the best value for money hotels in Hong Kong. At the time of this review the hotel was only three months old and as you might imagine, the rooms are very modern have great amenities and are remarkably clean. North Point is not in the main touristy parts of Hong Kong which has its advantages. However, between the free hotel shuttle, the MTR that's two blocks away or an UBER, you're never more than a few minutes and few dollars away from Central. Just in front of the hotel, there's a ferry over to Kowloon as well. I'll be planning a return soo.”

“We chose this hotel as a friend in Hong Kong lives nearby. We had a twin room which had two double beds which provided ample space for my wife and I and our 5 year old son. The room was spacious by Hong Kong standards and the bathroom was modern and well-equipped with a bathtub and separate shower cubicle. The harbour view from our room looked out across to the old Kai Tak airport site and North Point/Quarry Bay on Hong Kong Island. From the ground floor restaurant and the harbourside footpath outside the hotel you have the 'classic' Hong Kong harbourside of skyscrapers which are illuminated at night - maybe some rooms have this view too! We didn't eat in the hotel as there are many restaurants to cater for all tastes and budgets within 5 minutes walk. There are also many local shops including a department store (Jusco) which also has a large supermarket and is located within a landlocked ship-shaped building. The hotel is served by the free Airport Express bus service (route K1) to Kowloon station to connect with the Airport Express train service to the airport. The hotel also has a free shuttle bus to nearby Hong Hom MTR station and the Tsim Sha Tsui shopping area. If you miss the hotel shuttle bus, a taxi to Tsim Sha Tsiu/Kowloon Station area cost around HK$45 or the local Hong Kong bus route 8A from the Whampoa Garden bus terminal takes you to the Star Ferry Kowloon for a lot less! “We had a good stay at this hotel. The rooms are decent-sized - for Hong Kong. Like the free internet, and the iPod player in the room. We were given a free upgrade to a harbor view room which was much appreciated. The staff were very friendly. We chose it partly for the location - not great for everyone being in Taikoo Shing but it was highly suitable for us. And also because we like Sugar, the high-floor bar with a stunning view and outdoor seating. Decent food and drinks, not cheap but nothing in Hong Kong with this quality is cheap, and I didn't think they were over-priced considering the location. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay here again.”

“i booked a deluxe room at the luxe manor hotel hong kong through agoda.com (so helpful indeed, thank you very much!) with a very competitive rate. firstly i a bit hesitated as never stayed in this boutique hotel when making a business trip in hong kong before. however it turned to be just a very correct decision i made this time. i was so grateful since the first step at the hotel check-in counter, called “touch” which is a personalised concierge service. with the deluxe package booking, the hotel offered a grate deal of services, including every morning delicious buffet breakfast at a stylist restaurant on the first floor, free-of-charge drinks in-room minibar (day-to-day fulfilling too), a posh welcome drink at on 2nd floor bar. after a quick check-in process, a very kind concierge took me to my room on 14 floor to find that the deluxe room was very charmingly touching, smart decoration, not too little, not too much, for everything. i adored a refrigerator which was hidden in a pretty sideboard with a full pack of cool free-drink, as well as a lcd in a picture frame. everything in the room was just perfect, comfortable bed & pillow, equipped bathroom. location of the luxe manor is possibly one of their selling points. it is so conveniently located, either you would love shopping or traveling for business. major transportations are in a short walking distance, both hong kong mtr (underground train system) and a star ferry, if you wish to cross the harbor to central or wanchai. nevertheless, sometime (when lazy to walk) a taxi was also taken to travel between kowloon and central sides. passing through cross-harbour tunnels would be more costly than using the mtr or the ferry, but still in a region of reasonableness. overall, i was truly satisfied with this particular stay at the luxe manor, a small (but luxurious and warmful service) hotel hidden at the heart of tsim sha tsui, hong kong.”

“This is hands down the best hotel I have stayed at in Hong Kong. OK so it does not have a sky bar (there are plenty within 5 minutes walk!), but the staff are amazing. I don't have enough good words for the staff from top to bottom at this hotel. Rooms were great. I had a deluxe suite and I loved it. “Stayed for 4 nights in Dec.Room was spacious & had a balcony with lovely views of the Marina.Check in was efficient & staff were excellent. Hotel run an hourly service to Hong Kong which takes 35 mins. 10 mins walk to the Gold coast piazza where there is a selection of shops including a supermarket and restaurants (incl McDonalds) overlooking the marina. From there you can get regular buses to Kowloon & Hong Kong. Bus 61M gets you to the local train station for quick access to all areas of Hong Kong. good points, lolcation altough 30 minutes from hong kong center is ideal. lovely views over the harbour. nice swimming pool. decent sized rooms, nice lobby area and 10 minutes walk to the gold coast piazza which is a selection of shops including a supermarket and a restaurants overlooking the sea. a taxi to the hotel will cost around 25 pounds for a 30 minute journey. if there are 2 of you this works out to be a good deal compared to the nearer an hour it will take on the shuttle bus. buffet breakfast very nice, mixture of western and eastern breakfast couldnt fault it. bad points. the restaurant on site for evening meals is overpriced. 15 pounds for a very plain pizza!!! you are much better to go to the piazza. the staff are efficient but are not as friendly as in other hotels I have visited in asia. overall a good experience but not one which would guarantee me staying in this hotel when I return to hong kong.”

“The location is fantastic. We would stay in this hotel every single time we are in Hong Kong. The hotel located right next to a supermarket and the Causeway Bay MTR Station. Just down the road, you can get all the shopping you want. If you are hungry, fret not, there are lots of restaurants surrounding the hotel. If you want value for money hot-dog, head down to IKEA, it's in the basement of the hotel. Also, the staff were friendly during our stay; they were attentive and gave us lots of great suggestions for new food and shopping places. An excellent place to stay in Hong Kong.”

“Hong Kong hotels are pricey. It is not easy to get a 5 star hotel with reasonable charges in good location. While Sheraton Hong Kong Hotel and Towers was not really cheap on the room rate, it offers pretty good value for money in Tsim Sar Tsui area. Superb location that offers good connectivity via MTR, fantastic Victoria harbor view and interesting shopping malls within walking distance. The room was a little small, but well compensated with reasonably good layout, comfortable bed etc. Service was great. Very efficient check-in/out at front desk, bell boy served with much enthusiasm (and with a smile too) !”

“We have been there for the second time already. Both times we felt the hotel as exemplary. From the lobby to the guest rooms everything is very nicely decorated and exudes luxury and comfort.The hotel is overall large. It has unobtrusiveness although it shows luxury. At the breakfast, lunch and dinner is a very large selection of dishes from east and west of the world available. Everything is fresh. In addition, the hotel still has in-house restaurants which present further more dishes on the highest culinary level. The entire staff works very well, even in situations of strain. Personal wishes are taken into account immediately. Taxis for the mobility of the guests are available immediately. Very good is the direct connection to the shopping mall Pacific Place, one of the best addresses for shopping in Hong Kong. The only disadvantage : There is no free Wifi in the hotel .This should be improved from the hotel in the future because already the most hotels in Hong Kong have free offer for Wifi. There is hardly any better place for a hotel stay in Hong Kong. A lot of the city attractions are nearby. Also the accounting process was carried out highly reliable from the hotel after we finished the stay.”

“Hong Kong is a mere 1 hour and 40 minutes flight away from Manila so it is a frequent destination for me and my family. We visit this vibrant city at least once a year and love going the week after Christmas. My first time to Hong Kong was when I was a 7 year-old kid and this was known back then as the Miramar. In recent years we used to stay in another hotel in Kowloon, but for the past 5 years we have been making The Mira more of our family choice the past 5 years. Every year we come back there is always something new added. It is super clean, modern and ultra chic, the bathrooms with glass walls, wi-fi everywhere...Beds are very comfortable. This is very important because in Hong Kong you have to walk a lot. (Choosing your hotel based on it "being just to sleep for the night" does not really apply to Hong Kong) I like the convenience of having a cell phone in each room, which allows the guest to make room to room calls; communicate with each other for free (perfect for families) while going around the city, and is an easy way to for people to contact you...certainly very convenient as we usually go our separate ways with my teenage daughters around; a money saver tool ; no need to depend on your mobile phone on international roaming! The Mira is across Knustford Terrace on Kimberley Road which has a Ben & Jerry's Ice cream on the ground floor, and an array of restaurants, and cozy bars, steak houses, restos serving Spanish tapas, Italian food,Mexican, Thai, Vietnamese, Japanese restos; it's a great alternative for those who find the area of Lan Kwai Fong in Central too far , should you want a little night life. This place gets packed , yet this is what adds to Knutsford Terrace's charm. It is not in a typical building, and most of the bars /restos give the clients a choice of either staying in an open air area or inside. Really charming and picturesque at night!!”

“hotel in the heart of tsim sha tsui. if you want to maximize your stay in hong kong then this is the hotel for you. last minute booking afforded a reasonable price with agoda. the rooms are small but bathrooms are modern and shower was great. close to nathan road which is main road in kowloon side of hong kong. the mtr station is 3 blocks away or a nice 10 minute easy walk or if you walk fast like i do, 5 minutes tops. buffet breakfast at 100 hkg dollars or about $13 usd is an ok spread with the usual american bfast/ chinese congee, rice, noodles, salad, fruits, bread, rolls. the staff was attentive to hotel guests needs. there is a manager that stands beside the elevator near the front desk that always helps guests in operating the elevator. hotel maids greets you good morning- which is a surprise since i often go to hk and maids usually just pass you by. pleasant stay- overall.”

“Butterfly on Prat was amazing. It was easy to get to, close to a lot of stores, restaurants, and places to see, and the staff was superb - friendly and efficient! We were a family of 5 (with 3 adult children), and the 2 rooms we got was kinda small for the us kids. Too bad all the twin bed rooms were fully booked, that would've been better. But that one little discomfort aside, we had a nice stay here. The internet connection was free and fast! I could not have asked for a better option. They also provide free printing services, for those of you who need your boarding passes printed after an online check-in for your flight. How to get there (the fastest way): - Take the Airport Express, and get down at Kowloon Station. - Take the free Airport Shuttle, and get down at Park Hotel (2nd stop). Butterfly on Prat will be on Prat Ave., just a block away and a short walk from Park Hotel. How to get back to the airport the fastest way: - Go back to the bus stop in front of Park Hotel on Cameron Rd., and wait for the Airport Shuttle bus - Get off at Kowloon Station - Take the Airport Express back to the airport Places to see around Butterfly on Prat: - Wah Kee Snacks (corner of Prat Ave. and Hart Ave.): delicious street food! Try the lobster & chicken balls with curry sauce. - 7 Eleven and Circle K are near - Hanjyuku Kobo (Cameron Rd. near Tsim Sha Tsui MTR B2 exit): BEST. CHEESE TARTS. “It was our first time in Hong Kong so we decided to get a 4 Star Hotel. After arriving at Hong Kong airport it took us a few minutes to find the Harbour Center Counter, but after we found it, we felt taken care of already. Cost us HKD$140 each for the airport shuttle to the Hotel, it was a fairly large bus, and it only seated a few of us. This is where we learned that the Airport Shuttle caters to other hotels too. Think of it this way, if you have large bags or luggage, a few bucks is worth it when going to and from the airport because you are going to walk a lot. My bag was a large duffle and it was 24 lbs. and I was so grateful I opted for the shuttle going to and from the Airport. Plus, you get to see Hong Kong more from the bus, unlike when you take the train which goes into the subway after the first 5-6 stations. When we arrived at the hotel, check in was a breeze, they just get the impression of my card and thats it, there was someone who helped us get our things from the bus to the check in counter then from the check-in counter to our room. But be sure to give a separate tip to the one who carries your bag from the bus to the hotel, because it will be a different person who will bring your bags up. The room was quite big/clean compared to other Hotels our friends stayed at. Their's were around 21 sq mts, ours was about 28 sq mts. they were complaining that they had traffic going to and from their bathrooms, while we were comfortable in a King sized bed, we had a stocked mini ref and we had cable. Only problem is internet costed around a HK$100/day. We only stayed at the hotel to sleep and bathe mostly, but we would've loved to use the gym and the pool. Both were clean and complete. Maybe because there are monthly tenants staying at the serviced suites of the hotel. They had a sauna but I didn't get to use it. My girlfriend was able to use the pool, her only complaint was that it wasn't heated. We are coming back, soon.”

“the bp international hotel is the perfect hotel to those who wish to visit hongkong for shopping, sight seeing, food tripping, or simply just getting to know its cultural heritage. the hotel can be reached either via taxi cab or mtr from the airport. it's location is very strategic. every necessity could be obtained in a walking distance (money exchange, 7-eleven convenience store, street food, mtr station). it is also walking distance from the ever-famous canton road, for people who love to shop for designer items such as gucci, marc jacobs, lv, and many more. harbour city mall is also located near by. the austin mtr station is only 3 blocks away from the hotel. from there you can go to just about any point in hong kong as you wish! it is the cheapest mode of transport, and very easy to use. the hotel staff is very accommodating and can speak english very well. the hotel can also provide tourist concerns such as directions, tour guides, maps, and more. the rooms are small, but efficient for a stay in hong kong where you spend the whole day outside. it is perfect for relaxing after a long day of shopping and sight seeing. overall, i had a pleasant stay at the bp international hotel. im sure any one will also love this hotel! book now!”

“We came through Hong Kong for business. Two families, each with an infant. What we wanted was a hotel in Hong Kong that was decently priced and had a swimming pool for the children. This hotel is well-designed and well-maintained. Front desk staff are very professional. There is an hourly shuttle which takes you to/from Tsim Sha Tsui (Peninsula Hotel). In our opinion, the best part about the hotel was the large and beautiful swimming pool. There is a shallow kid's pool which was excellent for the children to play in.”

“GDH nailed it, again. Check in was a breeze, as always. I had booked an Executive again, and was totally surprised to have been upgraded to a 1 bedroom on the Executive Floor (16). Simply outstanding, especially for the price. GREAT bed, AWESOME bathroom, and comfortable amenities. The location is spot on for pretty much anything anybody would want to do in Hong Kong as it's just a couple blocks from Wanchai MTR, and a short walk down to Central/Hong Kong station as well. It's surrounded by restaurants of every flavor, and is, in my opinion, one of the hotels that gives the "best bang for the buck" while in Hong Kong. I highly encourage people to take advantage of the fitness room even if you're not a fitness buff - one of the BEST fitness centers for a hotel this size I have ever seen. Wharney GDH - one of MY favorite hotels in Hong Kong.”

“All hotel rooms in Hong Kong tend to be very small and those in this hotel are no exception, so don’t expect more room than is absolutely necessary. Having said that, the rooms were very well laid out and full of the latest gadgets – they were also clean, comfortable and ergonomically perfect and much better than in some of the ones we have stayed in on Hong Kong Island! The food was good, though a bit more variety would have elevated it to a higher level, and sitting outside in the rooftop restaurant was a delight even though the temperature wasn’t that warm – the views of the city and Victoria Harbour were amazing! The hotel runs a shuttle bus to Mongkok MTR station and it’s just a short walk from there to attractions such as the Ladies Market and Nathan Road – you have to walk back, or get the MTR back to Olympian City station which is then a short walk back to the hotel. Alternatively taxis are cheap and plentiful! A great hotel to stay in Hong Kong, with reasonable size rooms and at reasonable prices – we’d stay here again!”

“tsim sha tsui is the place to stay for leisure travellers looking to do some shopping in hong kong. there are countless hotels in tst, but the gateway is my top choice given its location, price and quality of service. the gateway is surrounded by malls and shops, being situated along canton road, and accessible through the harbor center mall. at night, visitors can have a leisurely walk along the promenade with the majestic hong kong skyline in the background. room rates at the gateway is quite reasonable compared to the marco polo hong kong and prince since it is situated farthest from the bay area among the three. nonetheless, the quality of the rooms, responsiveness and pleasing personality of the staff more than makes up for it. we look forward to return to the gateway hotel the next time we visit hk.”

“Hotel rooms in Hong Kong hotels are notoriously small, and the "superior" rooms in the Metropark hotel at 21 sq.m. are just adequate. However, the staff is universally excellent, and the service first-rate. If you want a double bed, you had better phone or e-mail ahead of time, because otherwise there may be none available when you check in. The hotel's location is convenient for anyone's purposes, with all the possible conveniences and services close by. The buffet breakfast was adequate, except for the fact that there was only sliced melon available as fruit. Bus A21 from the airport stops 50 metres past the main entrance to the hotel. Returning to the airport, however, is a little trickier: a) the airport shuttle (HKD 105) takes 1 1/2 hours because it picks up passengers from other hotels; b) a shuttle bus to the train station and then the airport express (total: HKD 95) is probably the best option; a taxi costs HKD 260 -300).”

“Regal Riverside's glory comes in it's design which is straightforward, convenient and relaxing whilst maintaining a charmingly simple but elegant style. I think it is perfect for families on holiday and tour groups whether they be your conventional tour group or school groups (we saw a few groups and they looked quite pleased). The hotel itself has a welcoming and pleasant ambiance and is quite stylish- once you enter the high-ceiling lobby there is a waft of perfume which invites you affably into a nicely decorated lobby. While it is not necessarily an overly 'extravagant' and 'grandiose' style hotel, I believe it is an ideal hotel to go on holiday as it retains an almost homely comfort and appeal after walking a long day in the colourful streets of Hong Kong. The hotel staff are also helpful and friendly. While it was a fabulous stay in the Regal Riverside (and at a good price), the few small problems we had was that in our bathroom there wasn't a fan and a leak near our cupboards (which was fixed quickly the next day without us even contacting the staff)but overall it was inherently a very nice hotel to stay in. Also note: The area of Shatin while not in the CBD of Hong Kong, is quite lovely being a more calm and relaxed area. Since the transport system in Hong Kong is efficient and well-designed for its large population, the hotel's location is not much of a obstacle in having a dense day in Hong Kong packed with sight-seeing and wandering around.”

“the prudential hotel is the hotel that i stay at all the time when i stay in hong kong. the location is ideal as it sits on top of the jordan mtr station. it's also centrally located on nathan road with shopping and restaurants on either side of the street. the rooms are clean and modern however they are small. the hotel is reasonably priced for hong kong hotels. my range is $usd and below a night. everywhere in hong kong is accessible by subway which is the main conveinence. taxi are expensive in hong kong and the subway makes an affordable way to explore hong kong. i give the hotel 5 stars and will stay there again everytime i come to hong kong.”

“This is my second time in Hong Kong for 2012. Compared to my previous trip, this hotel is definitely much more comfortable in terms of the area. Location was rather convenient as well as there is the Airport Express Shuttle Bus (H2) available. (To and fro from Hong Kong station). The hotel service staff were warm and friendly and have a good command of English. The staff were well trained in the local tourist attractions and had no problems answering our queries. Room service was rather prompt as well when we requested for extra towels. Definitely a pleasant stay and I do hope to be with them again for my next stay in Hong Kong.”

“I stayed more than 5 times at this hotel. Love this hotel because the EXCELLENT location. MTR Yau Ma Tei is just around the corner and many bus lines stop right next the hotel. Temple street, Ladies market, shopping area Mong Kok, Tsim Sha Tsui, innumerable restaurants are on walking distance. Laundry is just on the opposite of the main entrance of the hotel. There is also a small 7/11 (supermarket) just on the corner. The space of the room is according standard of Hong Kong just fine. I stayed mostly in the premier room which suits maximum 3 persons and that's okay. Also if you book the premier room you can use the handy wifi spot which you can take outside so you have ALWAYS wifi with you. It's free and very very nice! The breakfast is fine and if you stayed for 2 weeks (in my case) than it will be a little bit boring at the end;-). Oriental part: congee, noodles, vegetables, miso soup and dim sum. Western part: mini croissants & sweet patries, toast, gluten free bread, juice, milk, yoghurt, fresh fruits (very day: watermelon, pineapple and dragon fruit), cheese and the cook prepares any various egg. In general the hotel staff is very polite, friendly and helpfull. Also the chambermaids are very friendly especially the lady who cleans our room 1084. Thank you so much! I can highly recommend this hotel especially if you don't stay long in Hong Kong. Because the excellent location you will save a lot of travel time.”

Breakfast buffet is so good.  Wish we could have tried the lunch and dinner buffet, will definitely try next time. The suite is beautiful and is so great; incredibly spacious perfect for a family of 4 or for couples. The suite has a powder room, a bathroom with tub -and- shower with great water flow and safe water heater. Beds: mattress-and-pillows, even the sofas are very comfortable you could sleep all day. The room is perfect...Eveything is clean!  Park Hotel's environment is really relaxing and everyone was very nice to us. Front Desk Manager, Front Desk Staff, Concierge team are all polite and friendly. Great job! Our hotel's location is very convenient to the nearby shopping malls and restaurants, and is conveniently located near a Catholic Church.and we are so happy for that. Just a 5-8 minute walk from/to MTR station. Oh, by the way, there are always at least two taxi cabs parked outside the hotel, easy to bring hotel guests to the International Airport or other places in Hong Kong. This is really a great hotel to stay in. (*We did have 2 minor problems: 1. With WIFI access in our room, a little weak; 2. No English-Hollywood Movie Channel with drama/comedy series and Disney channel. Only with English documentary channels.) Overall, we (me and my wife) are very happy with our weekend birthday getaway. “The hotel is located right on top of the China Hong Kong Harbour. There are routes to Macao, Zhuhai, Shenzhen and others.. I believe it is quite convenient for business traveler from the Pearl Delta. There is also a great shopping mall just below the hotel. It is very convenient to shop and fetch a ferry back to Macao. Canton Road and Marina corridor, Star Avenue are also within walking distances. I think this is quite a bargain for a centrally located hotel in Hong Kong for its price level. Highly recommended!”

“We stayed in one of Butterfly's deluxe room and were given a room showing off the Hong Kong skyline and Happy Valley race course. The hotel is a 5/10 minute walk from Time Square and in a great location. Rooms are super clear with funky designs. Internet is good and easy to connect to without password or restrictions. There's was also a good selection of channels on the TV that was mounted across from the bed. The shower was superb. Best shower I've seen in a long-time. Huge shower head with easy water temperature. Staff also excellent and provided my girlfriend with a cake on request for her birthday. Really attentive and nice people. This is a lovely hotel which is probably a steal comparatively to what you get in other Hong Kong hotels around the same price mark. I definitely recommend - especially if you luck out with a great view from a high floor.”

“Although our taxi driver did his best to suggest we were staying in the worst area of Hong Kong we loved the location! Literally on the doorstep of the local food market with an original and genuine view of real life in Hong Kong; this location was perfect for us.. 2 mins walk to Kings Road where you were in the heart of north point and its shops, cafe's, restaurants and metro stations. Also had the tram stop (extremely cheap and a great way to get around) at the end of the road, everything at your finger tips to explore Hong Kong.”

“My husband and I decided to take a few days off to Hong Kong without our children, we have been to Hong Kong many times and stay in various hotels within the centre area. Hong Kong hotels are typically expensive with tiny space and get-by-only-mordern-decoration with no details. So for the same price range, I considered Nathan hotel to be a really worth-the-value deal. The rooms were really nice (but I did stay in the executive floor for a small extra amount only - I don't know what the regular room is like?) quite spacious, huge TV and with few gadgets well thought off appliances like the speaker system for iPhone, charger reading light etc... Breakfast has not much choice but to offer breakfast in Hong Kong hotel is a nice deal already. The service, I considered good, staffs were fairy friendly and better than all Hong Kong hotel I've been. This is the first time I booked hotel in Hong Kong by myself, I normally book through my agent. I'd even recommend my travel agent to recommend his customer to this hotel. I was very happy with my stay. There was one cleaning lady who clean our floor, she was lovely, I usually left my room late so I see her in the morning, she tried to ask if I want more soap, more water? etc....and when I left the room for the elevator, she ran all the way in front of me to press the elevator for me!! I was impressed and all these time, she didn't even spoke a words of english but a sweet service mind!”

“Tsim Sha Tsui (sounds a little like chim sha choi when natives say it) in Hong Kong is right across the water from Hong Kong Central and is the heart of shopping and entertainment. This hotel is perfectly placed to take advantage of that. If, like us, you plan to spend little time in your room, and want to be where the action is, this will be a good choice. That said, there are some things you should know. The room we stayed in is tiny, roughly 8' by 8'. with no closets or dressers, so it's imperative that you be neat and live out of your suitcase. There are only two plugs for charging. one in a console next to the bed and one under the sink in the bathroom. The lobby is on the 10th floor. The weirdest thing, to my mind, is that the bed looks directly through clear glass at the toilet. Why they didn't at least frost the glass, I have no idea, maybe they consider someone on the pot to be entertainment. The price is right, it's clean, the shower is good, it's in a lively location.”

“if you're planning to stay at the tsim sha tsui area, then the ymca salisbury hotel is highly recommended. it offers great value for money considering its location, and depending on the type of room you book, it affords you a view of the victoria harbor, which nearby 5-star hotels also offer at a considerably higher price. and while it would be unfair to compare the ymca salisbury to such 5-star hotels in terms of luxury and style, it nevertheless offers more than just the basics and affords one a pleasantly homey, cozy stay. the rooms are big enough and well-appointed, although i was a bit disappointed that they do not have a bidet in the toilet. other than that, there isn't anything else i could complain about in our room. no moldy smells, the room was cleaned & made up every day, plus they also gave us a welcome fruit basket on our first day, and daily rations of the english-language paper, south china morning post. cable tv could use a few more english-language channels, but one doesn't come to hong kong to watch tv anyway, so that's not too much of a big deal. since our hong kong trip this time was basically for shopping, i found that the ymca salisbury is just perfect for it, since it is just a few minutes walk away from the harbour city stretch as well as the countless outlets, boutiques and malls of nathan road, canton road and the side streets up to granville. it is also a mere 5 to 10 minute leisurely walk to the star ferry terminal, where you can board a ferry to hong kong island for more shopping in the central and admiralty areas. the ferry is a cheaper but more fun way to get to central instead of the ever efficient mtr. speaking of which, the ymca salisbury is linked by an exit to the east tsim sha tsui mtr line and consequently, the tsuen wan mtr line as well, so getting around is not a problem. staff were warm & helpful (by hong kong standards), from the ladies in the front desk & the gentlemen in the concierge, to the housekeeping s”

“I would say it is the Best Price ever if you would like to have a short stay in Hong Kong only for some good sleeping time every night. The location is fantastic. You can walk to Centre. The variety and food around the hotel are good and value for money. Hong Kong is small! You can not expect to have a large room like when you are doing a budget traveling in United States of America. Definitely worth it even though the space is small but, it is the best price ever in Hong Kong in a 4-star hotel. Good customer service! Excellent!”

“Guandong Hotel is located just in the heart of Hong Kong which made it perfect for leisure and business travel as well. The staff are very courteous. Its not a busy hotel which makes it perfect even to bring family along. What is interesting is that they have refurbished the rooms and even the lobby is now more welcoming. Arriving at the hotel surely feels like coming home. Its is indeed The One Best choice to saty in Hong Kong. Unpretentious and very Homey. Surely will go back to spend more time there. “The Burlington was a pleasant surprise! Most hotels in Hong Kong are expensive and relatively small, and this was small, but it was great quality at a great price. It was very clean, comfortable, and modern. The staff were friendly, helpful, and very efficient! It’s in a great location on Hong Kong Island, and it was a really easy getting from the airport because the bus (A22) practically drops off right in front of the hotel! And it’s only like a 10-15 minute walk to the Hong Kong Convention Center. There are a ton of nice, cheap places to eat, a very convenient place to stay. I especially appreciated the complimentary Handy phone they include in every room, a cellphone with 4G that was super nice to have for navigation and communication while going around the city...much better than buying a sim and worrying about reception and running out of data. Overall, we were very pleased, and hope to stay at The Burlington again when we go back HK.”
