"This is not a 5 star resort but a very well kept hotel. Great pool and pool bar. The staff is just awesome...shout out to Eron, Travis, and Edwin. The room has good space but the bathroom door sometimes makes things tight. Several airlines place their crews here so always pilots, attendants, etc around. I was in room 126 and it was plenty quiet. Great location for shopping, beach, and restaurants. The pool bar has a grill and there is a restaurant on site. Would definitely stay here again."

"The staff here were friendly and the grounds were well kept. Our unit however was misrepresented. The information given indicated there were 3 full/queen beds and no sofa bed was mentioned as we did notwant that. Upon arrival we saw that there were 2 full/queen beds and a pull out sofa bed as the 3rd bed. Very disappointing and not truthful. As well the sliding doors to outside were in very poor condition and the floors were not very clean. Whoever owns this unit meds to be much more specific in the types of beds inthe unit and the room condition....like being more honest. The resort per se is nice and conveniently located. "

Positives: great location, great view of garden area ( well maintained ), partial ocean view, washer/dryer, located close to shops, restaurants, grocery stores Negative: 2 bedroom unit with loft which required going up & down a spiral stair case, loft was hot as there was no direct air conditioning for the room, furniture ( cushions ) were old & needed replacement or cleaning, sitting on the lanai with the air conditioner on was unbearable due to noise & heat released from the air conditioning unit, main floor bathtub/shower needs updating, grab bars in tub/shower would be a good safety feature, television did not work on arrival had to phone cable company & last day of stay cable didn't work again"

The Hawaiian sun can be intense, and protecting your skin is essential for enjoying your vacation. Additionally, lightweight clothing and comfortable footwear are recommended, as many activities involve walking or exploring the beautiful beaches.

It’s also wise to familiarize yourself with local customs and etiquette. For instance, showing respect for the land and ocean is crucial in Hawaiian culture. When visiting beaches or parks, always clean up after yourself and follow any posted guidelines. Engaging with locals in a friendly manner and learning a few Hawaiian phrases can enhance your experience and show appreciation for the culture.

Lastly, consider booking accommodations and activities in advance, especially during peak travel seasons. Popular hotels and tours can fill up quickly, so securing your reservations early can save you time and stress. Whether you’re looking for a beachfront hotel or a guided snorkeling tour, planning ahead ensures you get the most out of your time in Kihei.
