“My best stay ever. I have tried hotels in Manila and in Europe, Okada provided the best service. The amenities are amazing. The staff are welcoming. I booked 2 deluxe rooms and one of our rooms got upgraded to the executive suite for the sole reason that it was our first time. Uh-mazing! right? The breakfast buffet did not disappoint as well! ”

“Everything is great. The buffet breakfast is excellent. The hotel's view is great (seaside). Staff are great. Room is very nice. But I only put 4 stars in value for money because you are paying 14,790php and I was hoping they have compliments like fruits and chocolates like the Manila Hotel and we only paid around 9,000php in The Manila Hotel so I kinda set my expectation high since Conrad is more expensive. But Conrad has the usual complimentaries same with the other hotels like water, tea, coffee and things needed in the toilet.”

“This is one of the pricier hotels in Manila as it's near the international airport. My favorite thing about our stay in the hotel was the rooftop view from the top floor of the hotel where the pool was also located. You can lounge there while enjoying the view. They also have a sauna and a gym. The staff was also very helpful. They immediately helped me when I got locked out of my room because the automatic doorknob needed a change in battery. The food at the restaurant was delectable. There's a Starbucks on the same building of the hotel and there are a couple other restaurants around the Resorts World area which are easily accessible from the hotel. This hotel accommodated our last minute booking because our supposed first booking at another hotel also got cancelled last minute. Anyway, this hotel turned out to be better than we've expected and it's a great value for your money.”

“We have recently used Midas hotel three times during our trips to Manila, primarily because our early flight back to Japan requires us to spend a night in Manila before departing. Very nice hotel with nightly entertainment and casino inside. The price is reasonable for a Manila hotel, and about 15 minutes to the airport (traffic depending). Sometimes we arrive late and don't want to go out....they have great room service with a variety of delicious filipino dishes, although not cheap by local standards. They offer breakfast, but since we are normally checking out between 0500-0530, they provide a packed breakfast (i.e. sandwich, fruit, water, yogurt, danish). Overall good service.”

“Overall we had a great stay at the Hyatt City of Dreams. There was a minor issue with our room and the Assistant Manager at the Front office: NELYSSA BERNARDO was exceptional at handling our concerns and taking care of the situation. The customer service was well deserving of 5 stars. and we really appreciated all her hard work. The rooms are new, modern and very spacious and all the different Food at the Restaurant is also very good. We have been to the philippines many times and we will for sure stay here again next time we are in Manila. With amazing food, new rooms and the best customer service experience the Hyatt city of Dreams is possibly the best Hotel in Manila at the moment. STRONGLY RECOMMENDED :)”

“My husband and I stayed in Nobu, Manila, Philippines for a couple of nights. We had a fantastic experience from the start. The check-in is a breeze, the front desk and concierge team made us feel at home and special. The staff from housekeeping to their management/administration team made sure that our first time in their hotel would be memorable. I highly recommend Nobu, Manila, Philippines to those who wish to stay within the city. Additionally, the facility is very close to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The concierge was happy enough to schedule a Grab car service for my husband and I. Come home to Nobu, Manila, Philippines. We will definitely return.”

“we were a group of 4 and we wanted to stay in any hotel in manila for the long weekend. upon checking agoda, bsa offered the lowest rates for a 2br suite so we booked it right away. the suite looked really new. the suite wasn't that spacious as compared to fraser or somerset but we didn't really mind considering the price we paid. the room was equipped with all the basic amenities. room also came with free wi-fi but the connection was lost at around midnight. we had it checked and the connection was restored in the morning. the kitchen was also helpful as we were able to cook items we bought from the nearby supermarket. although the room was inexpensive, the hotel charged us extra for services that i believe are free in other hotels. there is an overnight parking charge of p150. this fee should already be waived if guests are checking in for the night. also, the hotel only provided 2 bath towels, considering that the room is meant for 4 people. when we ordered extra towels, the front desk mentioned that they were going to charge p35 for each extra towel. we were baffled by these extra charges. hopefully the management considers lifting these additional expenses, or at the very least, includes these charges in the upfront room rate.”

“I stayed at The Herritage for 3 nights and was tottally surprised at the level of service at the hotel. I stayedin a club room and got it super cheap through agoda, and with all the extras included in club, made our stay something we wont forget. Although like some hotels in manila the view from the balcony wasnt anything to brag about, but was nice to have a Balcony all the same because there are not many hotels in manila that do . It is close to SM Mall and everything you need. I highly rate this place and encourage to try the super value for money .”

“Of all the Hotels in Manila we have stayed in The Golden Phoenix is by far the best,very clean room and hallways,the free breakfast is the best with both fried and scrambled eggs,fresh fruits,3 kinds of juices and many other foods also they are not stingy with the food or service.They Have a Full gym and a nice swimming pool.All the Staff were great,but the Concierge Marlon stood out and was extremely helpful This is our opinion and I hope it helps someone else.”

“Overall it was a good stay, if you are looking for a modern hotel with good amenities than you will get what you pay for in Solaire. Where they get in front of other Manila hotels is that they are the first large scale casino hotel in Manila that can hold its own with Vegas or Macau standards. While they may not do well in those places at least it has some grandoise to boast. We stayed at a club room with club access which offers much of the usual luxuries you would expect from Executive lounges (afternoon tea, cocktails, breakast, etc). That being said, I think they still fall short on maximising the strengths of the property. First off, their restaurant wing blocked a good number of the bay view rooms which kills a great opportunity to see the sunset of Manila Bay in many rooms. I also would not recommend this for families with kids as they have annoyingly strict rules for kids passing through the casinos (as if a 7 year old can slip a bet at the craps table under mommy's nose right?). Thus makes going around a bit of a hassle. And if that wasn't enough, they have one of the most unusual routes to the pool which is again located in a very restrictive area (feels like you can only access it via an emergency exit on the 3rd or 4th floor...and the pool is at the ground floor!) Overall I would recommend this for business travelers, as a conference venue, gaming enthusiast (large casino floor by Manila standards) and for its fine restaurants (we dined at Finestre which serves superb Italian while being surrounded with great digs - I heard tat steakhouse was good too). But give it a second thought if you want a family vacation.”

“this hotel gives very good value to its customers .the rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the service is very prompt if you find anything not quite right. the staff are very friendly and helpful , you only have to ask , and it is attended to right away .i have stayed there many times , and i would highly recommend staying there to anyone . there are good and bad hotels in manila, but book this one and you will not have any regrets . take it from a fussy Englishman. i travel all over the world , and this hotel gives very good value . i am more than happy to stay there whenever i go to manila . just one thing though , don't use the hotel taxi , it's expensive .”

“My wife and I reside full time in the Philippines and therefore have stayed in many different hotels in Manila. This was the first time we had stayed in the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel and we were thoroughly impressed. From the welcome each time at the front door by "Gino" the Door Man as we arrived back from shoppimg to the help and support which was extended to us from the Concierge Department and the pleasant smiling faces of all the staff we were made to feel so welcome and were treated all the time as VIP guests. “Celebrated my birthday for the 2nd time around. It happens that Seda has always had good deals during my birthday. The room was spacious, the staff were always ready to serve, the facilities were okay including the lounge, pool, gym, and sauna. I only wish that each bathroom has bidet, including the bathroom near the pool area. Breakfast buffet was so good! :) Overall, I will give 5 stars for the experience. I’d say this is one of my favorite hotels in Manila.”

“This was an excellent Hotel in terms of quality of decore throughout,staff friendliness, a quiet location of Manila and truly comfortable rooms. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 days and nights and it was a wonderful experience. We booked through agoda when we saw the hotel had a good special on for a quality King bed room with breakfast and internet. It is distant from Manila and Makarti and the traffic and noise of the city which is exactly what we wanted. It was like a bastion of peace and tranquility with incredible internal surroundings. It is close to a single shopping centre which was very convenient but you dont see it or hear it from the hotel. It gave us the oppertunity to eat out, go to the theatre, do some general shopping but spend the vast majority of the time in our room or in the lounge area of the hotel. As this was in June it was off season for Philippines and the hotel had a worthy "deal" of AU$100/ night (4,000 pesos)including breakfast and WIFI. The large flat screen TV, King size bed, excellent pillows and linen, very large windows,classy furnishings made this one of the best rooms we have stayed in and we travel twice a year. To cap it off, we were upgraded on arrival to a corner room which is slightly larger, but otherwise is exactly the same. This was a special 3 days and we will stay there again, given a "deal or promo" is offered. Robert Te - Australia”

“I was impressed from the start, good easy and quick check in, a personalised visit by the manager with some cookies were a nice touch. The room was large and extremely comfortable. The beds were great and the pillows too, I had a great sleep. The little things, TV had a huge number of channels to use, tee and coffee facilities, even a wine bottle opener, nick naks in the writing draw to assist you from paper clips to stapler. The bathroom was big and clean. We dinned on the rooftop, the Mongolian BBQ was not the greatest but was good, more spices were needed and more veg's too. The service was great and the ambiance was excellent. Night time above the maddening traffic of Manila was magic. The pool was excellent, while relatively small it was adequate and refreshing. My daughter loved it. Recommend this hotel .. yes definitely. All the staff were great, guys out front, the front desk crew, waiters and waitresses, cleaning staff all were happy, smiling and accommodating. I have finally found a great hotel in Manila, yes I will return.”

It is a wonderful hotel right across the street from Greenbelt Mall, which is also my favorite mall in Philippines with many good restaurants, bars and shops ... the staff is well-trained and friendly ... the hotel sparkles and the rooms are spacious with free mini bars ...I have stayed many times at Shangri La and several times at the Fairmont and Makati Diamond is by far the best value for upscale hotel in Manila... highly recommend”

“Booked Azumi for a weekend staycation with my boyfriend. He said it's the best hotel in Manila we've stayed at so far. Even before entering the lobby, the foyer already impressed us. There were fancy seats outside the lobby that looked perfect for chilling out over some cups of coffee. The lobby was impressive, with decor that made it obvious Azumi is a boutique hotel. The interior of the entire hotel, including the sky bar, the pool area, the lobby, the restaurant etc, was remarkable. Surely the designer didn't take this job for granted. The food in the restaurant also didn't disappoint -- Filipino cuisine done right. Another notable thing about Azumi is that the prices on their menu were surprisingly affordable. This includes the price of mini bar items, cocktails on the roof deck, and food in the restaurant. To give you an idea, they sell Sola Iced Tea in the mini bar for only 50 pesos. That's the same price 711 sells it for. Anyway, the sleeping room was also spacious and exactly how it is in their pictures. I looove the bed, the sheets were thick but really light. The AC was quiet but worked perfectly. The TV was our bestfriend throughout the weekend stay because we stayed in for a TV series marathon. And of course I have to mention the pool, which was really beautiful and picturesque. The staff kept the pool experience convenient. Towels were provided as soon as we stepped in. There were seats and tables that we used for drinks, and poolside mattresses for just hanging out by the pool. The view was marvelous. The only thing I didn't like was there was no bidet spray in the bathroom. This is a big deal for me so I couldn't just not mention it. Overall, kudos to Azumi Boutique Hotel's management and staff for putting up a reputable establishment that's nothing short of amazing. We had a great stay, we will definitely stay again and we will highly recommend Azumi to our family and friends.”

“Was allocated a room in the 31st floor. Wonderful location because hotel is adjacent to Robinson’s Ermita Mall where wonderful restaurants and shops are. The streets within the perimeter of the hotel is dirty and busy with lots of pubs and bars around the area. Security is great as access is only permitted to cardholders or those booked within the hotel. The room is spacious, with everything you need in it to make your stay comfortable. It has a kitchennette, TV cable, fridge and ofher basic amenities such as toothbrush, slippers and soft couch. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is spacious, hot and cold shower is strong and good. One of the few budget hotels in manila and makati that has a microwave to heat your food! Floor is wooden tiles that makes the ambience of the room so cozy. Service by staff is great! Negative feedback is that the room is adjacent to the trash room of the 31st floor which stinks in a hot and hunid weather. Aircon is noisy which kept me awake all night!”

“I would strongly recommend the Peninsula Manila Hotel for its location, facilities and for its service excellence. I have known the so called Manila Pen for over 30 years and I am so glad that it has continued to keep its 5 star quality rating. The moment we have entered the lobby we were greeted by courteous staff, check in was easy and wow! The ambience is really a 5 star!!! As we have entered our room, we have smelled the scent of cleanliness and it’s the only hotel I’ve known to do two housekeeping (morning and night) housekeeping by very nice, cheerful and helpful housekeepers. It has all the facilities that one needs under one roof! The food was superb with a selection on where to dine. My husband and I enjoyed most the Salon de Ning with the live band which also allowed its guests”

“I stayed here on my last 3 nights of my 18 day trip to the Philippines. Although I've been to Manila a couple times in the past, this was the first time staying at this hotel. I've seen this hotel on my previous travels here and wanted to stay here, so this time I got to try it. Although reviews may vary, I found this hotel quite good, and much better than the other Hotels in Manila of it's class. Check-in and Check-out was fast, the Staff were friendly and quick, the hotel was clean, room was clean and roomy and I had no problems whatsoever. Besides being close to the SM Mall, what I found I liked about this hotel was the fact that it was like a minute walk away from Manila's finest Buffets like "Buffet 101" and "Banzai". If you walk further along the Manila bay to the opposite side, you can dine at another popular buffet called "Vikings" I would definitely recommend this hotel and I'll be sure to stay here on my next visit.”

“Our stay in this hotel is quite an experience. Just like what is stated in my review title, this hotel offer more than a 'staycation'. It has a Karaoke hub, a bar which overlooks the skyline of Metro Manila, a fine dinning restaurant which serves one the best steak I ever had and of course the water spa. “In this review I'd like to give credit to the people who work in this hostel and do their best to offer cheap accommodation to people who can't afford anything else. This is not a place for travelers, unless they are on a really tight budget. The dorms are crowded, there are children crying every now and then and the light will be switched on and off even after midnight. However we were happy that the staff still gave their best to accommodate us and people who lived there. It was not a pleasant but a very interesting experience.”

“If you are looking for a cheap place to stay, this is good. But the location is poor. My taxi driver had trouble finding it. There are no decent restaurants nearby. No sidewalk so you have to walk in the street. That's not a problem on a secondary street, but it's a real danger on a major thoroughfare. I booked for two nights and left after the first night. I will not go back.”

“I was really skeptic about getting to 8Hostel. It is because I read so much negative reviews. However, I went ahead and booked the place. I told myself you get what you paid for. But I was wrong. The place is really nice. It is clean,. Daily cleaning service in the dorms. Plus, you can ask a towel or anything that the facility is supposed to provide and they will bring it to you right away. The staff was amazing; very respectful. I will definitely book this place if i ever happen to be in Manila; and of course I do recommend it to any traveler like me.”

“we stayed for 2 nights and 2 days... this is just a suggestion especially for a group of people who is going to stay in the hotel. having an active outlet should be available. 1 socket available for 6 people in one room is not enough as we need to charge our phone and all. I cant understand the point of view of having a wifi access only in the ground floor. Why people cant use it on their room?”

“it was only 2 weeks passed, since the hostel was opened, feb 2nd 2013. becuse i was with my nephew (male) and a female friend, i had to choose the mixed dorm room. i thought it mibht be inconvenient to stay in the newly opened hostel, but it turned out to be the best choice among my 9 selections of hotels for this whole trip, even including the "dos palmas hotel (5 star hotel, of course in a different way). the bed, pillow, dishes and the whole building smell new, and green, but the service was matured and well trained. the staffs are always ready to help you and try to think ways to boost their new business all the time. if you want to make friends who are young and open minded in manila, you should visit there. one little bad thing about the hotel was that i heard couple making love in the tiny building. there might be no way to ban... maica, however, you should do something about it, if you want to invite innocent visitors as well.”

“As Manila is so big, so it depends on which area you are exploring that you choose a location. 1 River Central is located in between Ermita and Manila, which was quite convenient for me to travel back and forth, though you really need to take a taxi or jeepneys. Jeepneys are super cheap and fun to travel. I had 8 days in Manila, and before 1 River Central, I stayed at a hotel which costed 50$, but I didnt like it as much as 1 River Central. The hostel was cheap, but very clean and cosy. The dorms beds are with curtain, so can be private and they provided a locker and a small safe. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. They provided breakfasts, though not really the best one. At the hostels, I also got to know some travellers with interesting stories. One note for travellers who is going to stay here though that the place is next to a road with heavy traffic, so it is very noisy from early morning. Generally, I love my stay there.”

“Correspondence of the staff is great. Five minutes and access are good by car from an Manila airport. The best location that can go to a shopping mall and all facilities even on foot. The room is clean,wide,then this hotel is newly in Manila for backpacker hotel and is comfortable. The wifi connection is good,and the cheapest in a hotel of the Makati I think. I love this hotel so much!”

“I m not the type that sleep in shared bathroom hostels, but this time, the price was one of the best on Agoda, so I went for it we took a private room for 2, so not shared room, but only shared bathroom. The room was ok, nothing fancy, but good ac and good enough bed and the shared bathroom was clean, and good hot water. We met some other travelers, and at night, the Roof Top Bar, is really great, with some music and low prices for beer, when compared to the other bars in the area And another thing, even if there s music on the Rooftop, you still cannot hear the music from the room, so I found nothing to complain about Will return when in Manila”

“I have stayed at "Our Awesome Hostel" now twice, and cannot say enough good things. First, the staff are terrific. Ralph-Ralph the manager is always willing to answer any questions, or help you with whatever you may need done. Whether it is ordering food, a cab, or travel to you next destination, the staff is extremely helpful. The same can be said for Sir Adam, who covers the desk during the day. Everything I said about Ralph, goes for Adam as well. Also, the rest of the hostel staff (JR and the gang are great!) are just as helpful, and attentive! Everyone always has a smile on, which makes all the difference in the World sometimes. Secondly, the location is perfect! You are within walking distance of BGC, which has some of the best restaurants and shopping in the city. If you are on a tighter budget, there are plenty of little restaurants around on the side streets. Third, they have an amazing rooftop patio, which makes meeting other travellers super easy (nearly impossible), which I think is an extremely important aspect of the travelling experience. Fear not business travellers, it is NOT a crazy party space, with out of control drinking, and loud music. Rather, it is a relaxing space to have dinner and some drinks, while taking in some amazing views of the city. I have spent some nights up there with fellow travellers, having a good number of drinks, but everyone seems to do a great job of respecting one another, and not getting out of hand. Also, all the rooms are far away from the rooftop, so whatever noise is created there will not disturb anyones sleep. I know this is a pretty positive review, but this is a pretty awesome hostel (as the name states). Needless to say, if you are coming to Manila for a night, a week, or even a month, stay here, you won't regret it! Tell them Peter sent you!”

“The stay was comfortable and appropriately near to the Philippine Trade Training Center where we had a Weekend Seminar. The only issue was a leak in the sink of the comfort room which was reported to the staff.”

“Clean and large room, large bathroom, and there is even a sink, cups and boiler! Feels like a studio. Very welcoming, helpful staff and genuinely friendly. I stayed three weeks in manila and this is the best place I stayed in. Location is great, safe, plenty of options to eat and a large supermarket 50m across the street. I recomend the Vietnamese restaurant in Madison commons in front of the supermarket across the street.”

“The place is a small hostel. However everything was nice from the staff who wil take care of you to ensure that everythings well. I recommend staying here since they helped me pplan my tour around Makati and Manila. Place is also near the pub district which is good if you want to see Makatis nightlife”

“No banging doors, coz locks made in proper way ! Room not noisy. Daytime sleep pretty uninterrupted. Aircon ok. Wifi working fine but not fast. Speedtest: <5 Mbps. My room: http://imgur.com/a/VoyewAl One bunkbed & extra bed/sofa. Flat screen cable tv but didn't try coz lack of power sockets, only filipino style versions of them. Receptions has converters to borrow for free. Clean and tidy, no lice or cockroaches. Room is small but enough. Difficult to flush ass after wc, only western style toilet tissue and low pressure in the shower hose. Hot water. No bed lamp. A rich shiny silly fools area so it's safe. Police, guards and cameras everywhere, if you like that. Location perfect in red light district but this district is upper class. Exclusive job girls walking with umbrellas in the rain offering men expensive support. “Having been to Manila a few times and stayed at some of the worse hostels, this was a breath of fresh air. The location isn't the best (unless you love drinking and shows) but the guesthouse itself was perfect. It was clean, spacious and the staff were great. There was free breakfast (delicious bread/ jam etc) every morning. Close to the guesthouse was a free skydeck at the the garden hotel; 72nd floor (3 mins away) for some nice views of the city. Greenbelt shopping mall was a good 15 mins away by foot too. The lounge area was designed in a way where you can meet fellow travelers. I met and made lots of friends here. Finally, they offer a free walking tour of the city for those of you who have not been to Manila before.”

“this plave rolls under melting pot zen rooms good shepard prices vary for same hotel ,you just get moved to differ side hostel ....good shepard side seems to be more expensive with rooms have slightly.better finish but not massive difference to explain differenxe in price wifi on good shepard side is non exista t u are forced out in common area which IS A SAUNA!!!!!!! common area is crazy hot regardless of time.of day ....fan dont do anything and ac not turned on ..prob broken . i been this each of the 3 hostels and general same for close to a week as it most reSonable ..i like.it to begin with. then not so much as week progressed as clesrly no effort put keep ac working as each room ac was dripping ..bathrooms were ok by locals standards. breakfaat is included however isnt really. worth choosing hostel for it as something but def not worth waking up for ..but handy . common area heat issue drove me mad as u can tell all guest sweaty suffering .. NOTE TO MANAGEMNT partition common area halls get AC .... thenheat in common area is not ok”

“this is my favourite hostel in Manila. I have stayed 4 or 5 times over the years and also recommend to others. the dorms are great, with curtains on the bed and lockers for your stuff. High quality pillows and mattresses too. Living room and kitchen area is small and simple compared to other hostels in Asia but by Philippines standards(which are generally lower), this is really good. It is very difficult to give a good value for money rating on any accomodation in Philippines as it is generally over priced compared to the rest of Asia but I can say this is satisfactory value based on the silly prices of PH. Staff are lovely.”

“I had a roomie who is staying in the hostel for a month and she had food in the room, kept AC remote for herself and keeps the lights on all the time. Please advise guests upon arrival to be considerate of others. I had a bad experience because of her inappropriate behavoiour in the room. I did inform the reception. Since i stayed for two nights. First night i let her be and second day early morning i had to leave. Hope the management will take actions against guests who doesnt respect the hostel policies. Overall location was good, staffs are very helpful and polite.”

“The place was great and overall clean. Facilities were nicely decorated and well taken cared of. It has a hang out room with a pool table at the top and a pretty nice bar on the second floor. The staff was super friendly and helpful, for example the first night the AC was a bit too cold for me, told the receptionist and got it sorted out. There was only one thing I didn't like much, woke up with few bug bites. Hope they take care of this issue. Also, didn't know it was located in the red light district, which was sorta unexpected but fine with me. There's a pretty neat night market nearby called Hott Asia market. Has nice cheap food.”

“I fly to Metro Manila once monthly for work and can’t express how happy I am to have found this place... Originally booked 3 nights but stayed 2 weeks! Staying in Poblacion, Makati is super convenient for getting to/fro airport (9km, ~30 mins by Uber and around the metro)... it’s a safe residential area that’s becoming the go-to party district for expats, backpackers and ‘hip’ locals on weekends. Don Pedro street can be a raucous scene on Fri/Sat for example. But what I like most about Jeepney is the quietness it retains in the midst of all that action... If you’re like me, you wanna come home from the bars (or get away from the hustle and bustle) to a place where you can actually get a good night’s sleep and be met with smiley staff. ALRIGHTY, MY REVIEW FOR PERSNICKETY PEOPLE: VALUE: Air conditioning, fast Wifi, free towel, warm shower, thick blankets for the price of a 6-euro kebab... Considering fancy travelers are paying triple at big hostels nearby, this is defo a steal. FACILITIES: Nice warm shower. Pressure was dead on the first day (we’re talking tear drops here) but thankfully that seemed to be a one-off incident when others were in use. You’ll be fine. As other reviews indicate, the tiny toilet closet will require strategic yoga positions when rinsing the derrière. Um, AC is sufficient, bed was firm, pillows need replacement but sheets were nice and warm. Kitchen and fridge are free to use and look well equipped if you’re trying to save slash a fantastic chef. Buy your own drinking water. The private room for 13 euros is also a steal... enough space for sleeping or if you are a thunderous snorer. LOCATION: Take a 30-min/$5 Uber Pool from the airport, or if you’ve only a small knapsack, try ANGKAS, a motorbike taxi app... it’s cheap and cuts through traffic like a knife through butter. It’s how I got around the metro, like going to/fro tourist sites like the historic Spanish Intramuros, Luneta Park and Binondo Chinatown. If you’re tempted to stay elsewh”

“My best stay ever. I have tried hotels in Manila and in Europe, Okada provided the best service. The amenities are amazing. The staff are welcoming. I booked 2 deluxe rooms and one of our rooms got upgraded to the executive suite for the sole reason that it was our first time. Uh-mazing! right? The breakfast buffet did not disappoint as well! ”

But I only put 4 stars in value for money because you are paying 14,790php and I was hoping they have compliments like fruits and chocolates like the Manila Hotel and we only paid around 9,000php in The Manila Hotel so I kinda set my expectation high since Conrad is more expensive. “My husband and I stayed in Nobu, Manila, Philippines for a couple of nights. We had a fantastic experience from the start. The check-in is a breeze, the front desk and concierge team made us feel at home and special. The staff from housekeeping to their management/administration team made sure that our first time in their hotel would be memorable. I highly recommend Nobu, Manila, Philippines to those who wish to stay within the city. Additionally, the facility is very close to the Ninoy Aquino International Airport. The concierge was happy enough to schedule a Grab car service for my husband and I. Come home to Nobu, Manila, Philippines. We will definitely return.”

“Overall it was a good stay, if you are looking for a modern hotel with good amenities than you will get what you pay for in Solaire. Where they get in front of other Manila hotels is that they are the first large scale casino hotel in Manila that can hold its own with Vegas or Macau standards. While they may not do well in those places at least it has some grandoise to boast. We stayed at a club room with club access which offers much of the usual luxuries you would expect from Executive lounges (afternoon tea, cocktails, breakast, etc). That being said, I think they still fall short on maximising the strengths of the property. First off, their restaurant wing blocked a good number of the bay view rooms which kills a great opportunity to see the sunset of Manila Bay in many rooms. I also would not recommend this for families with kids as they have annoyingly strict rules for kids passing through the casinos (as if a 7 year old can slip a bet at the craps table under mommy's nose right?). Thus makes going around a bit of a hassle. And if that wasn't enough, they have one of the most unusual routes to the pool which is again located in a very restrictive area (feels like you can only access it via an emergency exit on the 3rd or 4th floor...and the pool is at the ground floor!) Overall I would recommend this for business travelers, as a conference venue, gaming enthusiast (large casino floor by Manila standards) and for its fine restaurants (we dined at Finestre which serves superb Italian while being surrounded with great digs - I heard tat steakhouse was good too). But give it a second thought if you want a family vacation.”

“My wife and I reside full time in the Philippines and therefore have stayed in many different hotels in Manila. This was the first time we had stayed in the Dusit Thani Manila Hotel and we were thoroughly impressed. From the welcome each time at the front door by "Gino" the Door Man as we arrived back from shoppimg to the help and support which was extended to us from the Concierge Department and the pleasant smiling faces of all the staff we were made to feel so welcome and were treated all the time as VIP guests. “Celebrated my birthday for the 2nd time around. It happens that Seda has always had good deals during my birthday. The room was spacious, the staff were always ready to serve, the facilities were okay including the lounge, pool, gym, and sauna. I only wish that each bathroom has bidet, including the bathroom near the pool area. Breakfast buffet was so good! :) Overall, I will give 5 stars for the experience. I’d say this is one of my favorite hotels in Manila.”

“This was an excellent Hotel in terms of quality of decore throughout,staff friendliness, a quiet location of Manila and truly comfortable rooms. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 days and nights and it was a wonderful experience. We booked through agoda when we saw the hotel had a good special on for a quality King bed room with breakfast and internet. It is distant from Manila and Makarti and the traffic and noise of the city which is exactly what we wanted. It was like a bastion of peace and tranquility with incredible internal surroundings. It is close to a single shopping centre which was very convenient but you dont see it or hear it from the hotel. It gave us the oppertunity to eat out, go to the theatre, do some general shopping but spend the vast majority of the time in our room or in the lounge area of the hotel. As this was in June it was off season for Philippines and the hotel had a worthy "deal" of AU$100/ night (4,000 pesos)including breakfast and WIFI. The large flat screen TV, King size bed, excellent pillows and linen, very large windows,classy furnishings made this one of the best rooms we have stayed in and we travel twice a year. To cap it off, we were upgraded on arrival to a corner room which is slightly larger, but otherwise is exactly the same. “I would strongly recommend the Peninsula Manila Hotel for its location, facilities and for its service excellence. I have known the so called Manila Pen for over 30 years and I am so glad that it has continued to keep its 5 star quality rating. The moment we have entered the lobby we were greeted by courteous staff, check in was easy and wow! The ambience is really a 5 star!!! As we have entered our room, we have smelled the scent of cleanliness and it’s the only hotel I’ve known to do two housekeeping (morning and night) housekeeping by very nice, cheerful and helpful housekeepers. It has all the facilities that one needs under one roof! The food was superb with a selection on where to dine. My husband and I enjoyed most the Salon de Ning with the live band which also allowed its guests”

“We stayed here for four nights (a family of 4) during a stopover with Philippine Airlines from 5 to 9 August and we were very impressed with the Vivere hotel The staff here are amazing with excellent customer service and friendliness. We particularly enjoyed the Nest Restaurant with its fantastic breakfasts (one of the best we have ever had) and the evening dinners with the Jazz band and of course the view over Manila and the Ocean. We also enjoyed being close to the Festival Mall and Star Mall and the courtesy Shuttle provided by the hotel which is a nice bonus. We would have preferred a bigger swimming pool for the children but this did not effect our enjoyment of the hotel. We would definitely stay here again would definitely recommend it to anyone considering staying here. The hotel is a class act and we hope to return here sometime in the future.”

“So glad that we got a courtesy upgrade from a 2 bedroom executive (110 square feet) to a 2 bedroom premier (125 square feet) on the top floor over looking Shangri-La and the high rise buildings. room 3003 was PHENOMINAL. My entire family was so excited and thrilled of the room size, views, furniture, kitchen, outdoor pool and the 24 hour gym access. I was most thankful for the washer and dryer, courtesy daily bottled water and dried snacks on the 1st night. Thank you for my sons 16 th birthday cake and balloons. This was the best hotel we had during our 3 week stay in the Philippines. Pricey but the service recovery is superb. My driver provided by hotel from SM Aura to the hotel promised a 10 minute wait but it became a frustrating over 1 hour wait. Waiting for so long during the rain and hungry kids made the ordeal even more disappointing. However, to compensate, I asked for a free meal for my daughter and driver was granted. Thank you.”

“We booked several apartments with Avant Apartments At The Fort By Jazz for our Christmas staff reward and were very impressed with each of them. Each unit is fully loaded with everything you need and has lots of extras you dont see elsewhere such as plenty of towels, big bottles of shampoo and toiletries, washing machine powder, fully equiped kitchen, some even had 3D TV and Dyson fans to go with the air-con. We like the fact that what we saw in the photos is what we got unlike other places which have glossy photos but fail to mention that they are next to a night club or a building site. Here you get views of the golf course from all rooms and the road is closed on the weekend so no traffic noise. It was good value for money as they do not have a service charge. We had an in-room massage for a fraction of the price we have been charged by other hotels in BGC. You can also save on meals and eat out as the immediate area has lots of bars, cafes and restaurants to choose from. There is also a 7-11, 24/7 Macdonalds across the road. We had no problem getting a taxi to the airport and casinos.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Raffles Makati. I have stayed here a few times and no disappointment yet. The location is superb, centrally in Makati, next to all the shopping malls. Staff is great: friendly, open and pleasant, without being to pushy or being unnaturally friendly. The room (suite) is superb. Everything looks and feels new, certainly a change from most other high class hotels in Manila ... Breakfast good quality, the restaurant was a bit overcrowded during the Valentines weekend, as the restaurant is shared with the Fairmont hotel, but staff managed to handle. Recommended, if you are willing to pay the price, but having stayed in a few places, even when you pay similar in or around Manila, you won't get as good as an experience as in Raffles.”

“The 1st and only 6-star hotel to date in the Philippines, so I decided to try it out. When I got there, I searched around for the check-in area/concierge with no luck, until a guard pointed me to a small table by the staircase where 3 people were standing. I asked them where the check-in area was--turns out, that was the concierge. I asked them if they got my reservation via Agoda, which they confirmed, then told me to check-in around 2pm. I had lunch and returned 2pm, only to find the check-in table empty. The guard told me to wait by the table. After awhile, several staff members seemed to have noticed me and another customer who was waiting to check in, and you could see them moving around frantically and talking in their cellphones and radios. Despite paying a lot of money, I let slip the "invisible" check-in table, even the waiting time of 20 minutes because there was nobody in the concierge. What turned me off was the fact that other personnel noticed us waiting and did not entertain us. They looked disorganized. No seats were around so I was standing up the whole time, looking lost and stupid as I watched the staff panic around me. The other customer who was also waiting got tired and sat at the cafe nearby, and I was tempted to do the same even though the tables had signs that said "for the cafe customers only". The staff could have simply approached me and made sure I was comfortable while they sort things out. If they didn't have a comfortable waiting area, they could have seated me in the cafe and maybe even offered me a drink while I wait. A simple gesture such as this could've "controlled" the situation. If this was a 3-star hotel, I wouldn't mind, but this was a 6-star, I expected only the best. After all, it is the service that sets apart 5-star hotels, and I had never experienced this in 5-star hotels. Despite the lousy start, once I was in, everything was perfect--best service(excluding check in), design, and features I have seen so far.”

“My husband & I celebrated the Thanksgiving weekend together with our son (who is only about 3mos) & I must say that my baby enjoyed sleeping the entire time with their 500-thread count sheets. The bed is very comfortable. We got the Junior Suite overlooking a portion of Filinvest City so we could see the nightlife around the area. The comfort room is very spacious as even took our baby for a dip in the tub. The room's air condition is very suitable for baby's sensitive body temperature. Overall, it's one of the best hotels in Manila.”

“CONDOTEL that we stayed in are easy access to shops, bars and restaurant. You can catch a taxi, grab or uber very easy in front of condotel. I can recommend taxi is cheaper than grab or uber. You get a lovely greetings from the Receptionist and Security Guard everytime you get in and out of the condotel. During our stayed for 5 nights. Naomi is accommodating to our needs. It's certainly a thumbs up recommendation for small family. And also each room has television, aircondition and free WIFI. Hopefully next time I will use this accommodation for a bit longer staycation.”

“This is one of the pricier hotels in Manila as it's near the international airport. My favorite thing about our stay in the hotel was the rooftop view from the top floor of the hotel where the pool was also located. You can lounge there while enjoying the view. They also have a sauna and a gym. The staff was also very helpful. They immediately helped me when I got locked out of my room because the automatic doorknob needed a change in battery. The food at the restaurant was delectable. There's a Starbucks on the same building of the hotel and there are a couple other restaurants around the Resorts World area which are easily accessible from the hotel. This hotel accommodated our last minute booking because our supposed first booking at another hotel also got cancelled last minute. Anyway, this hotel turned out to be better than we've expected and it's a great value for your money.”

“We have recently used Midas hotel three times during our trips to Manila, primarily because our early flight back to Japan requires us to spend a night in Manila before departing. Very nice hotel with nightly entertainment and casino inside. The price is reasonable for a Manila hotel, and about 15 minutes to the airport (traffic depending). Sometimes we arrive late and don't want to go out....they have great room service with a variety of delicious filipino dishes, although not cheap by local standards. They offer breakfast, but since we are normally checking out between 0500-0530, they provide a packed breakfast (i.e. sandwich, fruit, water, yogurt, danish). Overall good service.”

“I stayed at The Herritage for 3 nights and was tottally surprised at the level of service at the hotel. I stayedin a club room and got it super cheap through agoda, and with all the extras included in club, made our stay something we wont forget. Although like some hotels in manila the view from the balcony wasnt anything to brag about, but was nice to have a Balcony all the same because there are not many hotels in manila that do . It is close to SM Mall and everything you need. I highly rate this place and encourage to try the super value for money .”

“Of all the Hotels in Manila we have stayed in The Golden Phoenix is by far the best,very clean room and hallways,the free breakfast is the best with both fried and scrambled eggs,fresh fruits,3 kinds of juices and many other foods also they are not stingy with the food or service.They Have a Full gym and a nice swimming pool.All the Staff were great,but the Concierge Marlon stood out and was extremely helpful This is our opinion and I hope it helps someone else.”

“I was impressed from the start, good easy and quick check in, a personalised visit by the manager with some cookies were a nice touch. The room was large and extremely comfortable. The beds were great and the pillows too, I had a great sleep. The little things, TV had a huge number of channels to use, tee and coffee facilities, even a wine bottle opener, nick naks in the writing draw to assist you from paper clips to stapler. The bathroom was big and clean. We dinned on the rooftop, the Mongolian BBQ was not the greatest but was good, more spices were needed and more veg's too. The service was great and the ambiance was excellent. Night time above the maddening traffic of Manila was magic. The pool was excellent, while relatively small it was adequate and refreshing. My daughter loved it. Recommend this hotel .. yes definitely. All the staff were great, guys out front, the front desk crew, waiters and waitresses, cleaning staff all were happy, smiling and accommodating. I have finally found a great hotel in Manila, yes I will return.”

“Booked Azumi for a weekend staycation with my boyfriend. He said it's the best hotel in Manila we've stayed at so far. Even before entering the lobby, the foyer already impressed us. There were fancy seats outside the lobby that looked perfect for chilling out over some cups of coffee. The lobby was impressive, with decor that made it obvious Azumi is a boutique hotel. The interior of the entire hotel, including the sky bar, the pool area, the lobby, the restaurant etc, was remarkable. Surely the designer didn't take this job for granted. The food in the restaurant also didn't disappoint -- Filipino cuisine done right. Another notable thing about Azumi is that the prices on their menu were surprisingly affordable. This includes the price of mini bar items, cocktails on the roof deck, and food in the restaurant. To give you an idea, they sell Sola Iced Tea in the mini bar for only 50 pesos. That's the same price 711 sells it for. Anyway, the sleeping room was also spacious and exactly how it is in their pictures. I looove the bed, the sheets were thick but really light. The AC was quiet but worked perfectly. The TV was our bestfriend throughout the weekend stay because we stayed in for a TV series marathon. And of course I have to mention the pool, which was really beautiful and picturesque. The staff kept the pool experience convenient. Towels were provided as soon as we stepped in. There were seats and tables that we used for drinks, and poolside mattresses for just hanging out by the pool. The view was marvelous. The only thing I didn't like was there was no bidet spray in the bathroom. This is a big deal for me so I couldn't just not mention it. Overall, kudos to Azumi Boutique Hotel's management and staff for putting up a reputable establishment that's nothing short of amazing. We had a great stay, we will definitely stay again and we will highly recommend Azumi to our family and friends.”

“Our stay in this hotel is quite an experience. Just like what is stated in my review title, this hotel offer more than a 'staycation'. It has a Karaoke hub, a bar which overlooks the skyline of Metro Manila, a fine dinning restaurant which serves one the best steak I ever had and of course the water spa. “Amazing experience! I rate this hotel @ 9.5 . The hotel's cleanliness is superb (previous guests comments online was right); very, very friendly staff (Filipino hospitality at it's finest) at the same time professional; food in Copa De Manila was great and fresh; lobby's design on the floor is very attractive (that's what attracted me the most when I was choosing the hotel online at that time) with the golden yellow (love that color) dominant throughout the facility- very elegant! Big room - you don't feel boxed in. Everybody started asking what and where is the hotel when our friends saw our pictures. And lastly, Mr. Ryan Rabe - the Director of the hotel was very accommodating. Shout out to him for the complimentary room when I came back to book again and his management! “Stayed in this hotel for three times already, and I will definitely come back again . The location is good, just across NAIA terminal 3 (they provide a free shuttle bus every hour from the airport to the hotel. You can find the buses at the arrival gate at the ground floor of the airport). There are some restaurants around the area, spa, nail salons, dental clinic, pharmacy store, laundry shop , walking distance to resorts world wherein there’s also a small shopping mall, there is a near supermarket as well. The breakfast buffet is good, and you won’t get sick of the options because everyday they change the choices. The staffs were also amazing! I left my watch in the room during my first stay and they notified me and gave it back. On my third stay, I asked my mom to wait for me at the hotel since I’ll only arrive in the Philippines after a very long flight and they assisted my mom and allowed her to check-in early while waiting for me to land in Manila. Every time I go back to Manila, I choose this hotel and I highly recommend it.”

“I would happily recommend this Novotel. We have stayed in hotels in many different countries and cities and I can honestly say that we like the Novotel Araneta Center the most of all of them. When we arrived there the last time that we were there, we literally said ahhhh home sweet home. We had to stay at another hotel in Manila for a couple of days because all of the rooms were booked for the days that we needed at the Novotel and we suffered until we could get into the Novotel. The staff is wonderful. Everyone there treats us as though we are someone special, they are all honest professionals and display a high degree of integrity. “During my three-week-long stay in the Philippines I was travelling to different parts of the country but City Garden Hotel Makati was my base in Manila. I loved the two times that I stayed there, with the hotel's excellent staff from reception to restaurant to phone operator to housekeeping! They were all personable, efficient, and responsive to my needs. When I had a wifi problem in my room the first time I stayed there, they were quick to install an access point, and even offered to change my room if the problem had persisted. The second time I checked in, the hotel gave me a room upgrade to compensate for the wifi problem I had had on my first stay. I will definitely stay at City Garden on my next trip to Manila.”

“To start with the minor inconveniences. The shower in our room seemed to be pulled of the wall and the knob for changing between main- and handshower seemed to be stuck. Also watertemperture, even when running longer, changed from hot to cold and vice-versa often. In the hallway and the room there was a funny smell. What we really liked about the hotel was the location in the CBD of Makati. Super convenient. We chose this hotel primarily because of its location, but were surprised about the luxury look it had. Room felt like a condo, it had an own kitchen complete with flatware and cutlery. Many thanks to the very accommodating security staff Erwin. When looking for a hotel in Manila again this sure will be it.”

“This is one of the best hotels around. No I have not stayed in all the hotels in Manila. That would take a lot of money. Though I have stayed in many hotels throughout Asia. So it still is a fair statement that this is one of the best. Lets face it, if you want a good place to rest, recoup and rejuvenate. This will be it. Ask for the feather pillows and you will not want to leave. The breakfast is great and if you need a quick fix before you have breakfast, there is Starbucks just a couple of door up the street. “I am a hotel supplies supplier for Sofitel and Manila Hotel who has travelled extensively for business and leisure and staying regularly at IHG, JW Marriot of HK, Shangri la Hotels and Sofitel Hotels among others, I could say that Aruga by Rockwell never fails to impress! It's room amenities though not luxury is of superior quality than most five stars. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are two tv sets...staff is attentive...location is superb...what more can a busy traveler ask for?”

“If you are looking for a five-star hotel in Bonifacio Global City (with a 4-star rating), look no further than the Seda Bonifacio. This was our third stay here, and the staff remembered us and made us feel so welcome. It is within walking distance of the High Street and a short taxi ride to SM Aura. Fantastic location. Worth paying the extra for the Club Lounge with its evening snacks and range of drinks. OK, so the swimming pool is small, and this may not be a child-friendly hotel, but these are minor quibbles. Best hotel in Manila, and I have stayed at a few.”

“I read so many terrific reviews of The Henry that my wife and I just had to give it a try on the second half of our Manila stay. I can only say that the hotel and staff exceeded our expectations in every way possible! We arrived early for check in with our adult son, who was staying for just a few days. After a really impressive lunch and a tour of the grounds our rooms were ready. Our son’s room was a spacious ground floor room and ours was on the second floor in the back. Both rooms were beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and well-appointed with spa quality soaps, and towels! The queen size beds were comfortable. Since it was the second half of our time in Manila we were a bit more laid back and wanted a hotel with an ambiance to match our mood. This was the place! Sit at the outdoor tables and a waiter will ask if you want a meal or a marienda, or just a drink of water. No pressure, no rush, just good service. Stroll the lush grounds take a book and sit near the pool or under a shady tree. Or if you want some shopping, there are three galleries with amazing treasures and helpful staff. Looking for that last minute souvenir? Try Honest Henry, a self-service shop in the hotel – yes, pick your item and leave your money in the box! We purchased two wonder necklaces at very reasonable prices. There are two parts to the location, a plus and a minus. The plus is that if you time the traffic just right (Manila traffic is always the issue anywhere in the city) you are 15 minutes from the Mall of Asia, Seaside Blvd. and if you are feeling lucky there are mega casinos nearby! And best of all depending on the time of day you can get to Aquino Airport in half an hour. Those are the neighborhood plusses, but on the down side, the neighborhood is not especially conducive to strolling and exploring. “I have been a guest at Hotel Galleria 3 times in 2 years. Last year I brought my family including a son and 2 grandchildren and my wife ( this was my second stay }. They all rsved about the sumptuous breakfast, the first class bar and the bands that play in there, and its proximity to the big Mall. We were all impressed with how courteous and polite and helpful were all the employees. The rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful . I have stayed at the Manila Hotel, the old Philippine Plaza, the Hyatt, Bayview and although each have its own advantage, I would stay agsin at the Galleria next time I visit the Philippines”

“Rooms are clean, comfortable and good value for money. Staff are very friendly. Pool and fitness center are good as well. Overall it is a 3.5 star experience. It would have been 5 stars, but the food is straight up average.... As in 2.5 to 3 stars average. Breakfast buffet is relatively sloppy with almost no variation from day to day. The in-room dining is much the same. If you are eating out , it is a great place to stay because of the value and proximity to lots of places. But if you need to eat in the hotel, given Manilas god awful traffic, I would think about another option.”

“the hotel was very new and definately of a 4 star plus standard. i stayed three nights with my wife and found the hotel has quality and prestigious features making a comfortable stay. the bed was by far the best feature, so soft with a pillow-top mattress, feather down doona and pillows to die for. the hotel is within a mall which has some great restaurants all at a very reasonable price by western standards. the hotel buffet breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection, but not excellent compared to others in manila. hotel staff were very nice and gave great service. the only negatives from my stay was the aircon (split system - wall mounted) in room 3806. this was extremly noisy (could not sleep :-(.... as the condenser is located in the room and not outside. also, there is a damp smell outside the rooms after exiting the lift, a little unpleasant, but once in your room with the aircon on, there was no noticeable smell. i informed reception in the early hours of the morning (1st night) and we were transferred to the 31st floor for the remaining two nights. the remaining two nights were excellent. no noise from the aircon as condenser was based outside on the balcony. we did not eat dinner at the hotel so i cannot comment. also, the gym on the 39th floor was quite good and complimentary, as was the pool. no view from the top though! i would definetly recommend this hotel for the price paid. definately great value (approx a night inc tax) with everything nearby (restaurants, bars and retail shops). the distillery bar was a favorite! great pricing and service with quality drinks, buy spirits by the bottle!”

“My wife and I had some business to do in Makati for a couple of days. We both loved our experience here. It felt like we were at at a 5 star hotel. The best hotel that I have stayed at so far in the Philippines. Nothing to complain about at all. It is so close to the Greenbelt area which we walked to and had our meals and went window shopping in the malls. We felt safe inside and outside of the hotel. I will be staying at the Somerset Millennium on our future stays in Manila for sure. We never got to use the pool area but next time we will. The breakfast is free and it's all you can eat with many choices.”

““This hotel lived up to all the positive reviews, big time!” Reviewed October 9, 2013 NEW We needed a place to stay for a few days R & R before a major art show in HK. Booking the Cocoon was the best move we made. All the positive reviews from other travelers were true and we loved the hotel. Clean, very comfortable, staff so genuinely helpful it was seriously refreshing. The hotel is about one hr drive from the airport, so maybe not the best local tourist base, but for a laid back R & R base with really close access to seriously large shopping centers........perfect! Had to leave as no more suitcase room for shopping! We got a cab through the airport center on arrival, thinking we were being smart, and paid P2750. The hotel arranged our return transport to the airport for P 1200! So be prepared. We left Manila and moved on to a 5 star hotel in HK with all the trimmings, none of the ambience, and couldn't help mentally comparing........Cocoon won hands down!! We travel a lot and have no compunction in recommending this hotel.”

“the traders hotel in manila offers really first class facilities in every respect. the rooms are very clean, spacious well maintained and serviced with very comfortable beds. the hotel is attractively located on the baywalk and our room had great views of the sea and manila bay. the sports and swimming facilities are really great too, a little small, but no queues or arguing over seats by the pool (and kiddies pool)etc - the poolside attendants looked after us very well. the main restaurant provides an excellent and very wide range of meal selection - both buffet and a la carte menus are first class. the japanese restaurant was unfortunately under rennovation during our stay as we are great sushi fans. there is a very nice bar with good entertainment groups in the evening and a happy hour. we ordered food as well but this did not meet the main restaurant quality as our two pasta dishes were ok but a bit dry. the most outstanding feature was undoubtedly was the courtesy and quality of all the hotel staff. all the hotel staff were totally outstanding in the way in which they carried out their tasks and treated the hotel customers. i am delighted that the booking process was so easy through agoda too, as i continually have problems with hotels and agencies confirming credit card data. i travel using hotels 6 to 8 times per year. gordon mckay (hong kong)”

“When I travel to a new city and not sure about the standards in hotels, I prefer to go with mid-range hotel chains, like Mercure for example. Mercure Manila Ortigas facilities looked much better value for price than most hotels in this price range and area - comfortable bed, great bathroom facilities. The hotel occupies some of the floors in a tall business building, so the reception area and the floors with rooms are a bit disconnected, but staff is very approachable and helpful just a call away. The building concierge downstairs is helpful with pulling an uber or a taxi. The location is excellent for business, shopping or leisure (hip eating area Capital Commons and Kapitolyo is a short ride away).”
