"The hotel facilities are adequate and clean, the location is convenient to see Matera. But the staff does not care at all about the safety of their guests in the time of a global pandemic. Half of the staff wore their masks under the nose, staff that was wiping down tables in the breakfast area wore their masks under their chin, and tables were not distanced at all. Furthermore, I saw multiple people enter the hotel without a mask and fellow guests were without masks in the elevator - the staff never made an effort to remind fellow guests that masks are required. I wrote to the hotel about my concerns but they sent me an incomplete message twice and confused by gender. "
