“My wife and I spent six nights there on vacation exploring Montreal, almost perfect location for walking and exploring. The staff was fantastic, especially Guillam Who went out of his way to make us feel comfortable give us tips on the Language and provide the information we needed for a great time. The hotel overall and the room were clean and they make an extra effort for air fresheners to make the entire hotel smell wonderful.. if we go back to Montreal we will try to stay there, but seek a slightly Better price for the same room...”

“The location is great- super close to Chinatown. They have underground parking for an extra fee. The room was large and the bed was pretty comfortable. However, the carpet and tiles did not look clean at all. I was afraid to walk barefoot. The bathtub was also questionable as far as cleanliness. The shower curtain was falling apart, but it did the job. The shower water pressure was fantastic. The room had large kitchenette with a full size fridge, keurig, and a sink - it's just missing a stove! The place is super secure.. with swipe cards for everything. Overall, I would still stay here again. It's great value for Downtown Montreal!”

“It certainly was a pleasure checking in at the Hotel Zero in Montreal. After a very long drive, I was swiftly checked in and made aware of all of the amenities available during my stay. I must give the gentleman checking me in major kudos. I believe his name was Ryan. Hotel Zero is lucky to have him. He switched from french to english without a hiccup and treated everyone with attentive professional service. In my case, since I have never been to Montreal, he spent at least fifteen minutes going over all of the neighborhoods to visit, along with his recommendations for the restaurant and bars in each. In addition to providing me with a map, with his directions included ,he wrote down all of his suggestions on a separate piece of paper. He also engaged other Hotel employees for their advise. When going back to Montreal, I will be staying here again. Ryan thank you for your patience and professionalism. Robert”

“Wonderful hotel in a great location. A few blocks one way is Old Montreal. A few blocks the other way is Crescent and marvelous shops. The building has easy access to the underground shopping and tunnels Montreal is known for and is right across the street from the Gare Central train station. Trust me - everything about the location is great. The outdoor heated roof top pool rocks! Do I have to say more? It is open year-round and so nice. It was a very cold day in Montreal today and we ended our day with a nice hot swim under the nearly full moon. (Call room service and they will bring you robes if you forget them. There is a locker room to leave your clothes and change. They give you a lock.) Parking at the hotel is VERY expensive. Park just around the corner at the Gare Central train station for $26 a day instead of at the hotel for $49. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we got everything we needed. All around a great experience!”

“We enjoyed our stay in Montreal. Our hotel was a very good and it is situated at the back of a large retail space which was very handy. You can walk to all the attractions in the city area. Our room was a good size and the bed very comfortable.”

“This property is located on Rue Drummond, just a few steps away from Rue Rene Levesque and St. Catherine so the location is excellent! The front desk staff was very helpful and courteous and so things started out great. Then, when we walked into the room (429), the room was big with a queen bed and a pullout sofa queen bed. There still was plenty of room to move around. The bathroom was modern and classic at the same time and was spotless! So well kept. Even if we were in the heart of downtown, I could hardly hear any noise. Montreal is a beautiful city and this hotel was for us the perfect place to call as our home base.”

“Leave your car at the curb, they’ll take care of it. Proceed to front desk and check in with a charming, helpful clerk. Admire the art work in the lobby, have a cocktail in the bar then head to your room. Be sure you check out the original artwork of modern artists along the way. Your room is airy very high ceilings and ours was painted a serene blue. The bed is very comfortable and fell into a great sleep. Or head out to stroll through Old Montreal and stop for dinner or drinks or both. All of the streets lead to Jacques Cartier a pedestrian street filled with shops and restaurants just a few short blocks from the hotel. This hotel has the world famous LOVE sculpture in front of it. Loved this hotel and will definitely stay again.”

“We absolutely loved staying here for a 5-day trip to Montreal from the Boston area. Hotel staff were all bilingual, and were incredibly attentive and helpful the one time that we had an issue (no ironing board). The daily breakfast is an enormous benefit, and the afternoon tea and graham cracker cookies was nice coming back from walking around the city and dropping off bags/getting changed. The hotel's very close location (2 blocks) to the Guy-Concordia Metro stop made getting around very easy and convenient. Protip: one of the bus lines right at the corner runs to Mont Royal. If you're staying here, get groceries from Adonis, wine from SAQ, and have a picnic in Mont Royal. You can drink alcohol as long as you have a meal The absolute only little thing I would note is that they offer valet parking, but their valet parking was "full" when we got there. The woman at the front desk was able to recommend another, very close spot to park (the Montreal Grand Seminary, like 1 block down).”

“You promised us that hotel ‘s courtesy shuttle will pick us up after I collect our bags and call them. I did EXACTLY that, and called them around 10:30PM on 30th August from Montreal airport. I was instructed by a lady employee to go to the departures level and come outside through door number 8, and that the shuttle would come in 10 minutes! We did EXACTLY that and waited outside gate 8 on departure level. NOBODY showed up at all, even around 11:40 PM. Therefore, with no other option, we took a taxi to the hotel Around 11:55 PM. That taxi driver charged me 25 Canadian dollars. YOU OR THE HOTEL SHOULD REIMBURSE ME THAT CHARGE, and compensate us for the hassle you and the hotel put us through.”

“I've stayed at many 5 star properties and this hotel is at the top of the list with best bathroom experience ever. Even my 6 yo who has discriminating tastes thought this was the best hotel ever. And the concierge service was amazing. Thanks William!”

“I have stayed at this hotel a couple times now when travelling to Montreal for conventions or sports events. I love how clean and tidy the rooms are. Eveything is very organized and I’m always impressed with the cleanliness of the entire hotel. This is very important to me when booking a hotel. They have upgraded the TV’s on the 4th floor since I last stayed there. There was also a mini fridge that actually worked in our room. 10/10 on quality of the items in the room. The hairdryer, coffee machine and the mini fridge all appeared to be new electronics. Great shampoo/soap (brand names) & Sealy mattresses. More than I expected for the size of the room. If you don’t mind the small room this hotel is a great option. I will be returning for sure.”

“The hotel was very easy to find, it has a very good location (downtown) and everything is close. It was very clean and you can rest very well. “We arrived at Montreal from Halifax, after getting on 747 bus, and take the green line. The Hotel is just there, it located in a best place in Montreal, I can got anywhere I want by subway in half an hour or just walk. All these made me satisfied,, and the room is. big enough and extremely clear. The stuff is friendly and speak English well. I look forward to the next experience in this hotel!”

“Comfort Suites Montreal Great location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, good value. My family stayed here for one night and were very impressed with the location, room comfort, friendly staff, and good value. The location is excellent, walking distance to a vast variety of restaurants, bars, shops, and touristic sites. Parking is available across the street for C$25.00 per day. Be aware that you must leave your keys with the parking attendant if you want to park your car in this lot. The breakfast was included, but we discovered the dining room to be overcrowded with a less than appetizing selection for the breakfast. Not recommended. There is an excellent breakfast restaurant within easy walking distance called "Eggspectation". All in all, an excellent choice for an overnight stay in the center of downtown Montreal.”

“My husband and I just spent 5 nights at the Novotel Downtown Montreal. This is a great hotel for the price you pay. It is about a 25 minute taxi ride from the airport and is located within walking distance to almost anything you'd like to do in Montreal. Old Montreal is about a 30-40 minute walk and there is easy access to shops, restaurants and the Bell Center. The front desk staff were very friendly and the room was very clean. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.”

“I'd always skipped over Westins because of the high price, but Agoda got us a great deal. We made a last-minute decision to get away at the end of a school vacation, so we said "what the heck?" and booked it without a single thought to planning. I'm so glad we did. The room was amazing. Best mattress I've ever slept on, double-shower head invites you to stay in there forever, and a great view, even though this was just a standard double room. But, all that said, it was the concierge that made this stay as good as it was - he showed us how to use the underground city to warm up our walks on a very cold and wet weekend, pointed out the best spots to view the city's Montreal en Lumiere outdoor art, sent us to the best shops (for which my teen daughter will be forever grateful) and found us amazing places to eat that weren't necessarily on the tourist circuit. Montreal is a great place to visit, even in winter, but the hotel and the staff made it perfect!”

“a big and perfect located hotel in montreal. even if the hotel is big, the staff where able to make me feel welcome and make the stay a good experience. the location is great, and it is close to everything. the only thing that where wrong was that the cup for the coffee was missing the first night. but that can happen to everyone. i also loved that the cups where take- away so you are able to make it for leaving. great stay.”

“We chose the Intercontinental Montreal for a short break due to its proximity to the train station and the old town, as well because it appeared to be by far the cheapest 4 Star hotel in Montreal - something that made me a little worried. I had read the reviews before booking and was expecting an older hotel that was nothing particularly special. In fact, myself, my wife and my daughter were very pleasantly surprised. Yes, the decor of the room was a little older, but not badly at all. I liked the look and we all liked the comfortable feel, and the large size of the room. It was very clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even giving my daughter a surprise gift bag on arrival (which contained a lovely soft-toy). The location was excellent, situated a few minutes walk from the central train station, and right on the edge of the Old Town. It is also part of the Montreal Trade Centre, which is in itself is a beautiful space. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.”

“Beware there are two Comfort Inn Aeroport hotels, and this is not the Comfort Inn Montreal Areoport one. It's the Comfort Inn Aeroport Dorval. Identical buildings, a good 5km apart. If you need a hotel your first or last nights because of flights, this is great. I wouldn't stay here as a Montreal vacation hotel, which I'm assuming goes without saying, but you never know! No pool, guests arriving and leaving at all hours, and the location is only good if you need the airport. Everything else about it was great, and it was the best pillow I slept on my whole vacation. Too bad it was for only 5 hours.”

“Very lights and spacious rooms. Restaurant was lively and good at o a high standard. We loved all the artwork in the hotel. Thomas the concierge was extremely helpful and recommended 2 fantastic restaurants. ”

“The staff is very kind to help us call the tour agency and to check on their time of arrival while we were waiting at the lobby. On top of that, the hotel is located near Place des Arts station (you need to find the right exit that's the closest to the hotel). The hotel also provides microwave and mineral water which is a plus point as many hotels don't provide them. There is a supermarket nearby for you to get some late snacks. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!”

“I was their with my son as he was starting university. Winter meant is was pretty cold. As this was our first visit to Montreal, the staff at the hotel were very welcoming and assisted us getting my son settled at the university campus”

“Beds are comfortable, staff is very kind, breakfast is good, but the hotel is not at the airport, is about 15 minutes drive, but they pay the taxi. The bedroom curtains (we wanted to sleep during daytime, because of jet lag, but the black out curtains didnt close, so we had a bit of light in the bedroom)... apart from that, no problems. Everything works well. Just if you stay in the second floor, there is no lift.”

“I went to Montreal for riding bike in Lachine canal. The guest house is located in the centre of old Montreal and very easy to access to the canal, old Montreal, railway station and downtown Montreal. All the facilities such as shared bathroom, shower room, guest room are very clean and well maintained. Breakfast and tea is complimentary, and you can cook whatever you want in the shared kitchen for your day trip. You can keep food in the fridge as well. Staff is so nice and helpful. You can save money but it's still comfortable and convenient. Please note privacy is limited, and you should use your muscle to move luggage because it's mixed dormitory rooms on the third floor. Good luck!”

“its a comfortable stay and the room was clean. however, the breakfast was basic. we were given a choice of only coffee and croissant/muffin. the lobby was very small and there is no elevator. its very inconvenient for group like us where we have big luggage. however, the location is good , and is near to public buses. ”

“The apartment is over my expectation. Once I stepped in, I could feel how homely it is. Spacious and well-designed. Their customer service was also on-point. I had some questions and they replied immediately. I was comfortable cooking and sleeping safely in the apartment. It was clean and taken care by their management. One of the best is they provide all the cooking utensils with cooking oil, salt and pepper and everything you need for your daily use such as detergents etc. The location is safe and near to everything from supermarkets, malls, train stations, places to eat, McGill and Concordia Universities, cafes, and walking distance to Mont Royal and other attractions. If you like walking in cooler countries like I do, you could actually walk from many areas to this place in 1 hour. Will be my go-to apartment in Montreal.”

“Great location near the Atwater Metro Station. Close to Rue St Catherine with many amenities and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a kitchenette with full-size fridge and oven. The wifi was an extra $5 per day, but they provide you with a wifi router to connect all your devices. Very high-speed internet too. Would definitely stay here again.”

“Here is locatated middin in montreal. there is parking lot. Price is nice even though prices was good. I was traveller. I was spending time not too much. Employee is so nice. he is really kind!”

“This is a great place to spend a few nights in the centre of Montreal, located between old Montreal and St. Laurent blvd, making it easier to walk everywhere. The room was very clean and quiet even though it was in a busy area. My single room had a twin bed which was comfortable with lovely soft bedding and the perfect size for one traveler. The bathroom is small but pleasant, including a nice new shower. The bathroom door is a sliding frosted glass door however so it may not provide as much privacy as you'd like. Note: there was no hair dryer. There's a complementary breakfast but you have to take it to your room as there's no seating area. There's a table and chair in the room though so it's not an issue. The staff were very friendly and kept my bag for me for a few hours after I checked out. I would stay here again!”

“It's very clean and it has everything; you name it, they have it. Its location is rather unfortunate though; it's right smack in the centre of town but it's not really near anything. Hence for a tourist like me who's never been to Montreal (my first day there was a -20 celcius in november!) it can be quite isolating and I wish the staff had been more helpful in that department although there was a Mr Jordan who's rather helpful.”

“The hotel was in the area where my family lives and not too far of the actual burial place. ”

“However did not advertise that the pool was closed and under some repairs! Our litttle one very disappointed that she could not use the pool! And yes the staff told us we could use the holiday inn pool but the temperature was not very nice at -22-27 with windchill to be going outside to pool next door! Other point the parking was very misleading as one of the halls had a large party and they took all the parking out front including blocking the walkway to the entrance, so maybe have staff control the parking out front! We did eventually find parking at the very back of the hotel property as the party people double and triple parked along the entrance and exit to the rear parking lot! The reason I mention this point is because we are both military veterans and are disabled so added a little more stress! All that is can be solved with bit of staff parking control! Other than those 2 points, we had a very enjoyable stay and would do it again!!! Thank you!”

“Even though the property was clean, it is badly in need of remodeling. Everything is old, tired, & out dated. It could be a nice hotel if they put some money into it. Convenient to be close to airport & have a shuttle. ”

“Nice place to call home, although breakfast could do better with more variety, as in new items each day of the week instead of just two items (oh, the sausages are way overdone). We stayed for 9 days, and hot breakfast alternate for the 9 days we were there. May not be a concern for shorter stays of course. Best thing about this hotel is the coffee machine in the lobby offering 24/7 hot chocolate to decaff and all the in between. Comfy bed and beddings”

“It started out badly by the guy at the reception gave us an attitude when he could not find our reservation even though we called twice before that to confirm. Room smells musky. Not clean carpet (our white socks became black walking on this carpet). Poor breakfast (dried eggs, undercooked potatoes). Overall, not worth the money. Not recommended !!!”

“This is an excellent airport hotel which is value for money. Provides free shuttle service to and fro Montreal Airport. Everything was great except for the fact the instructions on where to wait for the airport shuttle was not clear on both the website and airport directory if this is the first time in Montreal Airport. For the benefits of those first timer. The wait area for the shuttle is on the level of the departure hall. After arrival and exit the arrival gate, turn right . You need to either take the escalator / lift one level up to the departure area. Walk past all the check in counters and pass the hail riding / Uber pick up area. You will read a sign which reads airport hotel shuttle. The bus will display the Sheraton logo as it serves the “park and ride” customers as well + other hotels.”

“I had arrived the airport in the late night, hence no shuttle from airport to hotel available. No bellboy was there, only one unfriendly receptionist. Anyway, I felt safe in this hotel. Breakfast was excellent either foods or services. ”

“We needed a last minute place to stay and wanted to be close to the airport. We were able to book two rooms for the family and couldn't have been more happy with our choice. Everything was great, but the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff at the front desk, bar, and kitchen (breakfast) were fantastic. ”

“After the wicked weather of Dec. 23, 22017 we were more then welcomed into the lobby of the Hampton Inn and Suites. Not only was the staff at the desk friendly but also professional. They did not mind that we arrived 3 hours earlier then planned. Weather has a way of doing that you either get there early or late. They set up for the shuttle to take us to the airport to pick up our daughter and her friend so that driving was done for today. The driver of the shuttle was wonderful, even checking to see if he would be still working for our trip back. Beds were great, showers worked, rooms clean, great view, hot tea from down in the lobby was wonderful. Breakfast the next morning was varied and healthy. Staff again very helpful, in getting things that had run out. WE plan to stay there on all of our trips back to Montreal.”

“Pros - Very good location - Free airport shuttle (pick up and drop off). The shuttle will be at Gate 8 - Very friendly and accommodating staff - Free coffee at the lobby in the morning for those who are waiting for the shuttle service Cons - Minimal in room amenities ( no room slippers, toothbrush, complimentary bottled water, etc as a standard compared to other hotels) - Hotel does not issue a receipt, which I found was strange (per front desk staff)”

“ The only flaw was how dark the room and hallways were. You could turn on every light in the room and it was still dark. When I came off the elevator it was so dark in the hallway I almost ran into the luggage cart being drawn by the valet because I couldn't see it.”

I had some questions and they replied immediately. I was comfortable cooking and sleeping safely in the apartment. It was clean and taken care by their management. One of the best is they provide all the cooking utensils with cooking oil, salt and pepper and everything you need for your daily use such as detergents etc. The location is safe and near to everything from supermarkets, malls, train stations, places to eat, McGill and Concordia Universities, cafes, and walking distance to Mont Royal and other attractions. If you like walking in cooler countries like I do, you could actually walk from many areas to this place in 1 hour. Will be my go-to apartment in Montreal.”

“The location of the hotel is really good for me, because of the bus and subway to go to the airport and downtown. The room is really nice and it has a very good landscape. ”

“We had a wonderful 5 night stay at Maison aux Pignons, wished we could have stayed a month. The host was excellent and so gracious. The furnished house had more than adequate amenities for our comfort and use. Laundry facilities on site as well as more than enough cooking tools and dishes. We had everything we needed to entertain. Although others had indicated there was a railway across the street, we did not hear the occasional train passing. The yard was great although it was winter when we stayed here. It was a wonderful stay”

“The stay was really good at Quality Suites Montreal Aeroport. It was easy check-in with bilingual staff to get us into our room. Our first room toilet didn't flush properly and we went down to the lobby. They immediately changed our room for us which we were impressed. The location is great with grocery store and pharmacy is in walking distance and the Fairview mall isn't far either. I've stayed here many times and highly recommend.”

“This would be one of the better hotels I have ever stayed in. Great staff, service and room. Only downside was a little noise from construction outside, but that's totally out of the control of the hotel and not a deal dealbreaker. Would not even bother looking at other hotels before booking again in Montreal. ”
