"We are a group of 6 families and went to Munnar for summar holidays and stayed at broad bean resort for 3 nights. It is one of the best properties I have ever stayed in. It started with a little misunderstanding, but they really made up for it in the next 3 days and it was not really their fault, but the problem was with our bus driver. The approach road to the resort is not very wide (which is normal in any hill station). We went by a 26 seater bus and on the arrival day we reached after dark, so the bus driver was not willing to drive down the narrow approach road even after the hotel staff tried to convince him. So, they sent 2 cars to take us and our luggage to the resort. Also, they promised to keep 2 cars at disposal for us, in case the driver is not able to get the bus in the resort parking lot. Next day, during daylight, the driver could get the bus in the resort parking lot and from that time onward, there was no problem whatsoever. The hotel staff are really very nice, well-ma"

"I would recommend the Tea Harvester to anyone looking for a relaxing couple of nights in beautiful surrounds. Set in the middle of lush tea plantations and boasting rooms with forest views, the Tea Harvester is a modern, newly built colonial-inspired hotel. Tony and his team are extremely friendly and offer guests a guided tour through the tee fields in the morning. The restaurant is also very nice. Note this hotel is 5-10km out of town so best for those with a driver and looking to relax rather than those wanting to be in the middle of busy Munnar."

"I visited Munnar with my friend because of the beautiful region with its tea plantations. We were most happy with our stay in Grand Plaza Hotel. We had a warm welcome of the staff, with refreshing towel and spice tea. When checking in the management surprised us with a free upgrade of the room to a large suite room with seperate bedroom, sitting room and balcony with garden view! Next day at 6.30am the hotel manager invited us on a 2hour walk in the neighbourhood, showing us beautiful landscape and transplantation, explaining the history, culture nature and bird species. So we were privileged to have this private walk. All the hotel staff were very friendly and helped us with information. The breakfast buffet was very good and also a large choice for dinner. We definitely will choose this hotel again for our next visit!!"
