We traveled to Munnar as a family of 5 adults and a child. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. They provided us early check-in upon request, upgraded our rooms to the best they had and also catered to our request for a late check-out inspite of being fully booked. That shows the level of commitment they have towards taking care of their guests. The...

I had a wonderful experience in Munnar Queen hotel. Location is awesome. Rooms were good. Staff was courteous especially the front desk. Play room, swimming pool was in good condition. Though menu was limited by food was tasty. While checking out, they clicked our photo and presented the album :-) . So overall, i would recommend this hotel.

As the name depicts, this resort has good number of tall trees. Very calm and completely separated from the Munnar. Sometimes made to feel that we are completely isolated from the busy world. Good place to rejunuvate. Clean and pleasant environment. View from the balcony is completely amazing. Definitely recommend to my family and friends. Staffs were too good. Road...

I would recommend the Tea Harvester to anyone looking for a relaxing couple of nights in beautiful surrounds. What a wonderful hotel and spa! Blackberry Hills is nestled in the beautiful mountains of Munnar, a really serene and stunning location. Almost all the reviews said 2 things in common : Warm friendly staff and Cleanliness. These were the top highlights. We were treated with atmost care from the reception staff to the restaurant staff. The best thing about this resort is there ever smiling staff and the serene location nestled far away from the commercially exploited Munnar town. Trip advisor did not disappoint. Loca...

We spent 2 days in Munnar in this resort. The rooms were spacious and clean, overlooking the town below and hills beyond. I stayed here for 2 nights. Rooms are great, very peaceful and relaxed environment, great staff , Its a bit in outskirts of Munnar so make sure you prepare yourself for the night if you want any medicines or other necessary stuff. This place is very difficult to find using google maps as it keeps re-routing we were lucky enough that someone was kind enough to guide us the last part of the route. If I was to go here again I would travel to Munnar and ask them to pick me up. My partner had a bad burn to the leg and the receptionist kindly cleaned and dressed it. We had a tree house which was incr...

It's about 5km from the town center. 15 minutes drive. On the route to Kumily from Munnar. No restaurants in the surrounding area, only the in-house cafe. One of our worst stay during our holidays in Kerala. I booked this room on Agoda based on reviews and it is really bad that hot water problem and no food available because of renovations. Not very clean and extra bed also not good. But the staff were extremely helpful and very concerned.if you are very interested in cheap hotel then stay here.
Cheap places to stay in Munnar

I've stayed in two Vedantas recently and both were similar in that the properties were not so good but they tried to make up for it with the staff. Staff has been nice but I dont think it justifies the high review scores and they are way over-priced in relation to the market. Their dorm rooms go for the same price as a single room elsewhere. I stayed in the dorm room i...

While away from the actual Munnar town, this place was a good choice for us. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and modern. The view from the balcony was really great. We saw everything we wanted to see and...

Staff have been very friendly and helpful. Allowed us to check in early as we arrived on an early bus. The staff also helped us book a treck through Falcon Adventures - the treck was very reasonably priced (cheaper than Tripadvisor) and the service was impeccable. Our guide was very knowledgable, friendly and spoke good English. Hot water in the hotel was sometimes a b...

After reading the reviews we decided to try out Double Tree Villa and we weren't disappointed. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the food good. The only thing is that you do require a car as it is a bit out of Munnar but that being said it is in a lovely position. We would defiantly return on our next trip to Munnar.

Sanil, te owner of Wayside cottage farm is absolutely great guy. The place is almost new, opened about seven months ago, some 12km from Munnar town and because of that is very quiet at night. Sanil also provides sightseeing tours for very reasonable price and is always prepared to help if you need help. We also went on a trek to a nearest mountain and sanil aranged loc...

Hotel is clean and a room has everything you need to have a good rest. I had beautiful view to the town and mountains. Administrator Paramasivan is very friendly and helpful. He really cares about your pleasant stay. I definitely can recommend this hotel when traveling in Munnar.

Loved this place, a little hard to get to at 1st but they have a jeep to take you up & down the steep slope. It is a really nice walk though! A tuk tuk into town is about 150rs and it's a nice ride. Super quiet, you can just hear the animals at night which is romantic! Such a beautiful view from the dinning area and balconies, takes your breath away. Staff were really...

Located outside and up the hill from Munnar. Our room had a great view over the valley. The balcony was large enough to comfortably sit on and watch the birds. The food was good and service was very good. We rented a car through the hotel. The price was reasonable, the driver was polite and we could communicate. They even managed to find a Catholic Church for us. ...

This place is 7 kilometres away from busy munnar town but it's worth to stay here to enjoy the climate and serenity of munnar. The main munnar town is over populated and noisy. The hotel staff are very kind and courteous. The suite room was fantastic and it was well maintained it had balcony to enjoy the view. I will surely visit this place again.

Its worth to stay in such cottages where you get the value for money. We had to travel 10kms from the main town, but was worth travelling. The rooms are clean an neat with basic facilities. Hot water is 24/7 which is must in Munnar. They have Sony TV with most of the TV channels. This place is amidst the nature but not among the tea gardens. You get to see nice tea gar...

We stayed in Ansmariya Holidays for two nights during this new year and I must say it was very pleasing experience. We were a group of 7 adults and 5 small kids. The rooms were very clean and tidy. The staff was very courteous and helped us with all our requests. The main thing I liked here is the food served. We came late on the first day and the dinner was still serv...

I stayed here with one friend and we found all the other rooms were taken by a big group of friends. Buses run regularly to Munnar Town. In hind sight, it would be better to stay closer to town at a place that will organize treks for you. Not a bad place though.

Spice Jungle Resort was an awesome experience for us. The resort is located inside the spice plantation, which kept us away from the hustle and bustle of the city, and the spice aroma rejuvenated us after the long journey. The staff of the resort helped us in all that we needed. The food was superb with an authentic touch of Kerala. On the day of our wedding anniversar...

It was very pleasant stay....the luxury suite was fantastic according to the price.Staffs are friendly and good hospitality. It would be much better if they are extending their room service till 11 pm because they stop taking order and room service after 9 pm.It feels bit inconvenience.

Spent a few nights here while exploring munnar. Was a pretty good base without being in Munnar itself. There was parking available for our small car. Breakfast was delicious. They can also help you organize tours for the tea plantations. At night, they send you down the street to another hotel for food. A nice quiet place to stay. Only issue is too many mosquitoes in ...

Hotel with potentially the best views in Munnar. So raw, fresh, and far away from the noise of Munnar city, it just makes your experience surreal, young, rejuvenating. Pros completely outnumber cons, but some takeaways for ...

We stayed for 2 nights and participated in the New Year eve's program. The staff put together amazing activities for the evening. The fireworks and the Bonfire made the occasion special. We stayed a night in this hotel. It was great staying here. Eventhough it was located near a bus/lorry station, the noise wasnt there when it is the time to hit the bed. We enjoyed the room very much. It was clean and comfortable, the WIFI worked well and is free, this is not always true in Kerala. Bathroom was nice and large. I don’t think one can beat the location of this hotel in Munnar town. The hotel basically overlooks the entire Munnar town and surrounding hills. There aren’t many staffs but the ones available are quite nice. The room was clean but their corridors smelled like rats died there. The best part was the balcony where you can sit and take in the views(and noise) of the town...

I along with 3 other families used this Hotel facility. I am extremely satisfied with the facilities provided. Beautiful hill station but slowly being commercialized to attract tourist. Nevertheless, there are still some splendid views of nature and tea estates available to enjoy.
