Where to stay in New Delhi and NCR
New Delhi and NCR hotels & accommodations

The Lalit New Delhi is a very classy hotel and the staff have been well trained and are extremely responsive to its guests. I would not hesitate to book here again when I am next in New Delhi and would recommend this establishment without reservation to anyone desiring to stay in a hotel with more than a touch of class. It would be remiss of me not to give a special ...

This hotel is very very very nice and chic. Staff could not be more helpful and room was gorgeous., Made a mistake with my airline ticket and realized I came to the airport 12 hours too early. Nobody would want to stay at the New Delhi waiting for a plane for 12 hours if they could get a GREAT hotel room for the small sum of $55 a night not including breakfast. Pool...

everything you would expect of a shangri la. not cheap but in new delhi definitely worth the price to escape the chaos and hassles that this city has to offer. the staff are excellent and could not have been more helpful. the gym facilities at this hotel are first class. i cannot comment on the pool as it was closed for renovations at the time. i stayed here for 4 days...

Delhi is more than intense so to ease yourself into the crowds of people, noise, pollution, animals, selling... this was a great shout. The hotel is clean, calm and peaceful. Staff are attentive when you want something but they do not push or pressure you to do or buy something you do not want. The restaurant food is a little bit pricey for India, (80 rupees for 1 ro...

Hotel is good and the staff also good nothing wrong with it but faraway from anything in New Delhi - costlier taxi rides to get anything... Breakfast could be improved no much choice... Definitely I won't go again not because hotel is bad but because of the distance Real Delhi and the hotel - definitely this might be a good place if you are in a transit

Pros: We were visiting Delhi for our visa appointment. This location was 5 minutes from the us consulate and they kept our luggage during our visa interview. This was great! Cons: The travel concierge proposed a very expensive cab ride(2600 inr) we just walked out and got a rickshaw for less than inr 1000 (from hotel to consulate and back and then to the airport) Ov...

The Leela Palace maintains it's number one status in New Delhi for a reason. From the time that you enter into the hotel, until you leave you are treated exquisitely. While there is much that has already been said about the hotel, I would like to mention just a few of my favorite things that the hotel offers. First: do take advantage of the pool. You are greeted there ...

We had a wonderful stay at the Lodhi. Was there with two children (10 & 8) - it's mainly geared to business travellers and adults, but they loved the immense rooms, the huge 50m pool and the individual plunge pools on each terrace. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the food excellent and in a good location on LodhinRoad close to central Delhi. Would certainly r...

This is the best hotel I stay in India during visiting New Delhi & Agra for for 6 day.The Manager in-charge Mr. Aditya is the most helpful staff in the hotel, not forget Mr Azeem too. Overall staff & the hotel facilities is the best..Thanks for the hospitality, I sure will stay at your hotel when visiting India in future..

I needed a hotel close to the airport for a trip to and from Varanasi, before flying home to Canada. The hotel is about 7or 8 km. From Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi - a prepaid taxi from the airport costs 250Rs, and in a regular taxi, they shouldn't charge more than 500Rs. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and modern. The beds were comfortable and...

My husband and I stayed at Hotel City Star for four nights after spending 12 days up in Leh. We were pleasantly surprised by how wonderful this hotel was. The first night we were in a room facing the busy road and it was very noisy but we requested a change of rooms the next morning and they were happy to give us a room in the back away from the road. The staff was in...

We were staying at a guesthouse in New Delhi and went to see a friend at Welcom Hotel. Its attractive lobby and spacious room allured us to enjoy a stay at the hotel. We had a good night's sleep and a wonderful breakfast. We were delighted by the products provided by the hotel such as the array of tea flavours and the very high quality bath products. The only drawback ...

I have had my fair share of stays in India, country inn marriot in gurgaon, Radisson Blu new delhi paschim vihar, fairmont in Jaipur, trident in Udaipur, Ranbanka palace in Jodhpur, as well as attending a wedding in Trident Gurgaon, I would say that this one is up to "international" standards. Most of the hotels outside of Delhi, though ranked as a 5 star, do not have ...

This hotel is very good to stay in New Delhi. In the first stay, they offered Airport Pickup service, which is not actually free but only needs reasonable fee for parking (approx. 250 INR). If you need it, you should contact the hotel separately to tell the arrival time. After arrival, Check-in was very smooth with welcome drink service (mango juice). Room was clean, ...

I stayed in two hotels during my New Delhi trip. The first had been arranged by my travel agency, and was much more expensive and much less elegant than this hotel. This I booked through Agoda, and was positively surprised. The service was good, it was centrally located and the breakfast buffet was very good. To be in New Delhi, this hotel was excellent value for money...

We ended up at this hotel due to a cancelled flight . rather than drive back into Delhi we stayed at this location in the Aero city . There is an Aerocity shuttle bus for a reasonable price that will drop you straight out the front. The hotel was modern and clean and the staff very friendly and attentive .With their help we were able to contact our next hotel and advis...

First time in India, wanted to stay closer to central New Delhi and paid more. Not sure if we made any use of it since walking in the streets are ?????. Could have visited India gate, Lotus temple etc from any where. Hotel it self is excellent, good food options, pool, gym etc etc. Good staff too.

This hotel is great! Clean, well maintained, lovely staff, beautiful and comfortable rooms, and very conveniently located near the airport. This is my second time staying at this hotel and both times have been stellar. First time I came with 2 other friends for a quick stay between connections in India. I wanted to check out the hotel for my solo stay on my return jo...

I stayed in 3 hotels in New Delhi and this was the best one (it was also cheaper than the others). The food is very good. The hotel is within easy walking distance of a metro station in a fairly safe area. The pool area is quite nice and relaxing. I did have an intermittent problem with power in my room and I was moved to another room when one became available. Somet...

This must be one of the best hotel in New Delhi. If you plan to use trains from New Delhi station, this is the very best hotel!! Very very nice comforatble room, friendly staff, nice design, nice terrace and reasonable price. This is one of the best hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Just 3minutes from New Delhi station and it is located the very first corner of Arak...

I had a an excellent stay in Country Inn and Suites in Delhi. It has all the things I need and nearby to all necessities. The hotel has an excellent vegetarian cuisine and the spread is so varied. There are non-vegetarian choices to those who choose it. The ambiance is excellent. The location is great. It is one of the best five star hotels in New Delhi. The hotel is ...

Older property that is well kept and run. I last stayed here in 2009 when it was the Hotel Intercontinental. Attentive staff. Good breakfast buffet. Solid rooms. Free WiFi Getting from airport was a challenge. Hotel does not have free airport transfers but can make arrangements at a nominal fee. Use Uber or do some research and get a prepaid cab. Cheap places to stay in New Delhi and NCR

The first room we were assigned smelled like cigarettes, the air conditioning wasn't blowing cool air, and it was tucked in a corner of the hotel where there was a very poor wifi signal. I asked for a different room and they obliged. We asked the man at the front desk if we could get a taxi to the airport at 3:00 AM. He said it would be no problem as long as we could p...

The rooms and toilets are great. I booked the 6 mixed bed but when I arrived, they placed me in the 4 mixed bed and it was great. They are observing the non AC between 10AM-10PM to save energy. The hostel is right next to the Delhi gate metro exit #3. The downside is that there are many pets inside the hostel getting around (dogs and cats), so it is not a good choice f...

The Hotel is part of a Group. I arrived 6 hours before check-in, and offered to check in at another Hotel nearby at an extra cost. Offered free transport there. Located in very small alleyway, off the main road. Safe to walk around, plenty of traffic, loud horns and noisy. But that is all over. Hotel was quiet. Helpful Staff. Nice freshly cooked Indian breakfast. Da...

Well, I have been in different locations/areas and hotels in Delhi, and this is different maybe It is not the best neighbourhood, is still a little dirty but it is Delhi. The metro is near you can walk, but take care at rush time, you can experiment bad moments. The breakfast also is good the hostel provide all the necessary; bread, cereal, milk etc. and finally it has...

best hotel out of the 9 stayed throughout india. the rooms were comfortable and clean. the staff were very friendly and the manager, went out of his way to make our stay an extremely happy one. the rooftop restaurant was clean and the food was excellent. the waiters were friendly and accommodating. i loved this hotel and will definitely stay here again when next in ...

Hotel Aerotech near IGI Airport, New Delhi, yes it's a very Guest Friendly Hotel. The Room Tariff is also compatible to any Class of Travelers. Food is Good. Room is comfortable. Location is also very good. Moreover the Staffs. They are ever ready to help the inmates at any time. I recommend this Hotel to all the Travelers to New Delhi.

I love everything! The location, very easy to find! The cost, very affordable! The rooms are always cleaned! The staff and owners are VERY friendly and cute! I mean it. This is the place! Location is very good, it's in Paharganj. Few walk and you're in the New Delhi railway. And few walks opposite, you're in the Metro. This made my stay in India very nice! I want to go...

This place is quite close to the airport and I guess because it’s a new guest house all the facilities are new and clean and the staffs there are so friendly and even there are long term guests cook for everyone at the place all the time . I will definitely stay at this place again

I had a good stay in this hotel for 3 days because of staff Mr. Muzamil Raza he is very honest and kind hearted person with good attitude and excellent customer service and a good human being with helpful nature. I was fasting because of ramadan he guided me assisted me and also made arrangement to break my fast. I appreciate his help and enjoyed the stay at the hotel...

I arrived to Delhi knowing no one and left knowing almost 20 people just in 4 days. The hostel management crew are amazing, they connect with residents as friends and help as much as they could. The Hostel trips were amazing, I went to Agra, Jaipur and Delhi. The trips were organized with attention to details to make a memorable local experience for travellers. T...

We had a private room in Zostel Delhi Hostel and had a great stay! The location is good for getting around Delhi and really close to New Delhi station. The hostel was clean and modern with a really cool atmosphere, and being able to use the washing machine was a huge bonus! They also do a great value dinner on the rooftop. Really recommend this place!

Very impressed. Inn's posters and design which is unique in India, and shows an Inn which caters to budget international travellers - travellers of international expectations. Very clean. Located in a great location - central to places of interest and amidsts the bustle of a market/bazaar where one could get great bargains. The subway (which gives quick access to the a...

"Yes Please" is a very central and very cheap hotel. The manager is awesome: So nice and very obliging. They sell also drinks and have water. We had the cheapest room, small but nice! We are backpackers and do not need any convenience. The hotel is a bit hidden, but after 5min we found it. Simply ask (friendly) some locals, they will help you. Our room was quite. If yo...

The hostel is newly opened. It has new facilities and is very clean and comfortable. It is near select city walk shopping mall and also not far away from the metro. There is a nice kitchen and a young Nepal cook cooks very delicious food. The hosters are a very nice couple, I spent a entire month with them and they gave me a lot of help. They lent me books, gave me tra...

This place is a great base camp for anyone arriving in India which can be overwhelming. We enjoyed helping out with their local charity (a blind school) which they support. The manager was very helpful and gave us some great tips for arranging our tour of the country. If you want they can also arrange great trips for you as well if you need a helping hand. I hope we ...

Nice staff and nice place. Street rather dirty and lacks character and variety of the food vendors available in so many other cities but despite its surroundings it's nice once you get inside. Sadly the wifi sucked and we didn't have any hot water but the place was clean, room big and we only stayed one night to catch a flight. The hotel night guy was the best! We got ...

Generally, nice hotel in Pahar area! The first day, at late night, when I went to bed I found someone's blood print on the bed cover. Not one, several prints. Of course, I felt gross. So I asked the reception staff to exchange it. At first, he refused my request(I do not know why) but I said one more time about this situation, soon they came to my room and changed it....

hotel goodluck, basically near to airport in a town call mahipalpur. rooms were big enough. not all rooms had fridge in there. no water kettle and tea/coffee. toilets no mirror and no cloth hangers. room service can be annoying at sometimes. they dont clean ur rooms everyday and bedsheets dont seems to be changed at all even when the previous guest left. call for food...

Cheapest I can find online for a solo like me. Small, but for the price I wouldn't grumble. Just to manage your expectation. Staff helped me troubleshoot and activate my sim card. Quite clean, but obviously you can't compare this to a 4 star hotel standard. I would say this is at most a 2 or 3 star hotel.

fairly typical hilton hotel....impeccably clean, tidy. average sized hotel rooms. friendly and helpful staff. reasonable gym. the biggest selling point of this hotel is that it is part of a large shopping complex which means that western shopping/food is close at hand...especially for those people that will find new delhi a bit of shock in terms of cleanliness, traffic...

Really good, central location and very helpful staff. An easy walk to the metro, and to the Bengali Market, for supplies - and an ATM that usually has some cash. Ate in room/restaurant a couple of nights, and the food was delicious. Still a bit of building work in progress, and quite near a railway line, so if it's perfect peace you're after . . . well, you should prob...

My purpose in New Delhi was to attend a Visa interview. I selected the nearest hotel (walking distance)to the Embassy. I stayed with my little daughter and wanted to have a security and comfort. I was happy everything was there what I look for in Hotel Diplomat.

Very good service from Hotel Jivitesh. Extremely welcoming and friendly staff. Very helpful. Rooms clean and nice comfortable stay. We had a domestic flight to mumbai after 4 days, so were able to store extra luggage at the hotel and collect this on return. Location of the hotel is very good, only 5-10 minute walk to the market/restaurants/snacks area and metro station...

I always stay at this hotel for a variety of reasons, its well connected to almost any part of Delhi by a metro that is just 10 steps away from the Hotel, the rooms are clean, the staff are like family, the breakfast spread is good considering that all kitchens were closed in New Delhi due to some fire issue all over the city.

My husband and I were looking for a nice hotel to stay in New Delhi near the airport and we found The Muse Sarovar which is located 10 min by taxi from the terminal. We came very late that day to the reception, in about 12 a.m, and the staff were waiting for us and welcomed us very nicely. The room was more then we expected, very big, clean sheets, the bed was fantasti...

We stayed in the hotel shortly after being opened in 2015. i guess we were the only guest in the complete hotel - as the AC in the reception was turned off and we could decide what we would like to have for breakfast (freshly made for us) The room was very clean and modern and the employees were very friendly. Unfortunately we/our taxi drivers (ola drivers) had diffi...

It was our last night in India and we thought we would splurge on a nice hotel. This was definitely worth it! It's a bit far from the main action as it is in west Delhi, but with an Uber driver, it was very easy to get anywhere so not much of an issue. The upside to staying here was that it was nice and quiet and in a safer area. I think this was a more posh area and ...

Would definitely like to stay here again. The hotel room is perfect. Bathroom too is well done. Thoughtful of them to even provide a good ipod speaker dock. Good value for money hotel in Gurgaon where hotel rooms are generally very expensive. Location though is not the best. The Service was out of this world which is appreciated in particular in New Delhi. All staff were very helpful in arranging trips ,taxis, translations etc. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. The rooms are equipped with everything you might need. Excellent shopping nearby. An Oasis in hectic New Delhi.

Good place if you have work close to the area! Not much for a tourist and morning traffic to Delhi center difficult and congested Modest hotel great rate for the quality of service and accommodate . Breakfast Ok but not great but for the price excellent. Even for western tastes! Recommended for those who have business on that side of Delhi!

This hotel provide the best services that i had in Delhi. The staff are very friendly and helpful. However there are some setback as the wireless required to be request on daily basis which is very inconvenient. The plus point is the staff gladly will come to the room to pass the wireless password. Almost at the end of my stay the wireless password does not changed.

The Great Western Sky City Hotel, Gurgaon, was by far the best Hotel during our travels in India mainly due to the staff. Rooms were very clean, average size, with all the amenities. Breakfast had a good range of delicious cusine, and manage by a professional manager,( Parveen ), who went out of his way to appease you. During our stay we utilised the services...

I stayed in this hotel for just a night. I have not tried the food there but rest is excellent. The New Delhi Airport Holiday Inn exceeded expectations. It's more of a 4+ star hotel with great amenities, beautiful rooms with good sound insulation. A big thumbs up for the fully stocked mini-fridge and snacks. The signature toiletries are generous and smell great. Pro: Aeocity is new area and safe. Food is wonderful. Must try: butter chicken. Services are good. They always welcome you and ask for feedback. Sizeable and well equiped gym room. As the taxi entered the hotel premises, the metropolitan New Delhi left behind and new experience of a probable India began to unfold. I am a frequent traveller to New Delhi and due to some bad reviews I never booked with Suryaa. My associate cajoled me into booking with Suryaa and it was a decision I will never regret. We did a bid on Agoda for a 5-star in New Delhi at 88$. Ended up paying 115$ with all taxes and surcharges. It's an amazing price for those large and comfy rooms. Bed and sheets were great, lots of bottles of water. Good location since you need taxis anyway. Two downsides: the breakfast is really average, trust me. All breads are bad by any European standard and coffee...

Surprising arrival: 3 hours to pass the immigration at the Delhi International Airport. The hotel driver thought we had miss our plane. Hotel of 5 Stars, maybe 4. The building is good. Hotel is managed by Govt. of India employees, so we can expect certain lethargy. The food is disappointing. The hotel is in want of major renovation and could have been the best...

Real reviews for hotels
If you are in India, you will probably end up spending at least a few days in New Delhi. Mostly, it is horrible: a crowded mass of humanity suffering through a poorly planned city that does not have enough mass transit.
Suggest you really take the time to soak up the atmosphere and engage with the historical relevance of this place.
The Metro is a great way to get around, if you can find a good hotel nearby then use it. Tuk-tuk drivers are mercenary when you have finished all your shopping, needless to say they are only interested in their commission on what you have spent and not your stay.
