"This is one of the best hostels, more like a hotel to me, that I stayed at in Thailand. I reserved the smallest private room and I was extremely happy with it: it was super clean, modern and functional. Everything worked 100%. The bathroom was clean and immaculate. Water temperature and pressure was excellent. The staff was friendly and excellent as well. I highly suggest that you utilize their inhouse travel services (STA Travel). Toni from STA, booked a full day island tour that was affordable and luxurious. That's all I'm going to say. If you can opt for a better package, go with it, you won't regret it. Also worth mentioning, is that there are so many activities within the hostel that can allow you to relax, socialize and network with people. Somedays, you can just stay inside the 'hostel', away from the hustle of Phuket within a nice environment and still enjoy yourself. Location is excellent: next to a lot of restaurants, food stalls, massage parlor and Walking ST."

"was a lil bit concerned with the previous reviews that wrote poor performance of staffs but i was glad that all staffs i met here were all lovely and more than helpful to me; the reception girls, the drivers and even the security guy! i had to check out very early in the morning and i was nervous that my taxi didn't arrive on time, the security guy was happy to help me calling the taxi agent and asked for the situation. they have shuttle van connecting this hotel with its sister hotel that located very close to the jungceylon mall and also bangla road. they deserve good tips for their good services. i booked the mini suite with jacuzzi inside it, very relaxing for my short holiday. room is nice and tidy. location is still on the main road although it's a bit off the crowd. 15 minutes walking to the beach. overall i had a good stay and will be back here again next time i'm in phuket! "The best hotel in Phuket! The hotel was nice, clean and lovely. I had problems with wifi at other hotels in thailand but wifi was working fine and it was free. They provided beach towels so that I could take it to day trip which was very convenient. We were supposed to stay for 2 days but extended one more day. Our stay at acca was awesome! I highly recommend this hotel."

"Duangjitt resort was lovely. The rooms are nice with beautifully equiped bathrooms. Duangjitt is close to the beach as well as the shopping and clubbing areas. The gardens are beautifully kept and very spacious. This resort is ideal for families with children as they cater for the children with all kinds of activities. The bars and swimming pools are very nice. The staff was not always friendly and knowledgable and the breakfasts compared to other hotels in Phuket was not so great."

"Brilliant place to experience Phuket for the first time.We stayed in the hotel for 5 days. The location was good and relaxing. The staff were friendly and very approachable. The housekeeper always cleans the room and change the towels everyday. The beds are extremely comfy that you would like to sleep all day...The swimming pool is big ang clean. The buffet breakfast was good and yummy but I would like to suggest if they can prepare different foods each day. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit in Phuket. I highly recommend it! "

"The stay in R Mar Resort n Spa was fabulous.Situated near to Phuket main attraction Bangla Rd about 5 mins walk. The interior design was nice with the 3 star category hotel. Didn't have the chance to try the F&B services as we had a pack outdoor activities. The front desk was friendly and well versed in english. I really love the room slippers provided as it was made from good material, by the way I highly recommend others to stay at this hotel in Phuket as it's value for money.. ;-) hope others will enjoy as we do... cheers..."

"We got a room with pool access which was absolutely fine. I could be picky and tell you what was wrong but all the things I would mention simply dont bother me especially when considering the price. Hotel is clean, pools very very nice and the air conditioning works. Location very good in Kamala and a 1 min walk to the beach. Breakfast was basic but fine and staff friendly especially with our 2 young ones. For what we paid me and my family were very happy and we had a fantastic time during Songkran -what a water fight that was!! I cant compare to other hotels in Phuket but if you have booked here and dont expect the Ritz I reckon you will be very pleased. Thanks to the hotel and staff for a great stay :-)"

"Memory II is a very nice hotel. The room is large with a very big bed, desk and wardrobe space. Big bathroom as well with a good shower. It’s clean and modern and also has a balcony and kettle which was nice. Friendly staff with house keeping available every day and easy scooter rental. Note that there is no elevator in the building. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel, it is very nice and excellent value for money however we made the wrong choice staying in Patong. There is a huge, sorry to say it, but trashy night life scene. No tradition or culture there. The hotel is also close to the beach but it’s quite busy and has lots of litter. Also would not recommend the area to any animal lovers as there is lots of animal abuse everywhere you look (elephant shows and trekking, captive tigers, lots of restaurants with tanks outside etc) which made our stay in Patong very upsetting and uncomfortable - we spent most of it in North Phuket at the Dog Sanctuary (Soi Dog Foundation - an amazing place, must visit) and outside of Patong. Definitely not the place for a chilled, relaxing holiday. But if you’re wanting to stay in Patong, Memory II is great."
