"Pros: excellent location, beside Jungceylon and walking distance to Bazaan. Good for family w young kids. We could get food and shopping during the day. Then night activities after dark. It’s not by the roadside so away from the noise. Massage and taxi just at the door step. You can easier arrange for transport around Phuket w/o prior booking. Breakfast is decent for the price. Very clean and new. Love their family room too! Came w a living room and sink for washing. Gave a 4 star for cleanliness bcos of the bed, find it a little dusty. I had to dust it myself. Con: no connecting room and my 2 rooms wasn’t arranged beside each other even though the next room was empty. "

"Me and my wife stayed for 5 days and 4 nights and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel room is huge for the cheapest price and it also comes with a balcony. Pros - You get 2 free bottles of mineral water which get topped up every day. Spacious hotel room, comes with a king bed and a sofa bed so you can fit in 3 people. The location was simply the best. Just 2 mins walk to night market for food and other stuff. Patong beach was 5 mins walk. Jungceylon is around 10 mins walk. You can walk to the bus stop @ Patong beach to get to Phuket Old Town for 30 baht taking the public bus. Taxi will cost you at least 500 baht. Staff are friendly and courteous and helpful for any enquiries and they will try their best to help you. Cons - Hotel is located just behind the river which gives out a sewage smell. So we rarely went to the balcony. Toilet while generally clean will also emit a strong odour most probably from the river. Small swimming pool but small issue as you can swim at the beach. I give this hotel 4.5/5 stars and I will definitely stay here the next time I am in Phuket. Thanks Mazi Design Hotel and keep up the good work. "

"Pros -prime location Indian food (Madras cafe) is just 100m away, lots of Indian food joints in that lane. Less than a kilometer to Patong beach. Breakfast varieties are very good, good for vegetarians too. The staff is flexible on the checkout time by an hour. It's 2pm to 12 noon. 2 bottles of water complimentary. Good towels, shower gel etc are available in the rooms Bed isn't sift, so got some good sleep after all the snorkelling and swimming done through Marks phuketsailtours. Cons- the Thai massage is done by experienced staff but kinda average. My internet wifi issue was never addressed. Nothing major on the minus side. The hotel is worth the money and one of the initial drops when you take the shared airport shuttle to patong. Also, the staff is well mannered and can speak English to a fair bit. I will definitely book this one if I make it to Phuket again. Keep up the good work. Best, Shyam "

"I loved this place. The common areas were exquisitely decorated with a multitude of modernly arranged antiques---just the sort of place in which to spend a lovely cocktail hour with fellow travelers and soak in the atmosphere. Some of the upper floors were still under construction when we arrived, but each of the rooms was decorated in a chic industrial style complete with its very own black and white mural (the murals changed from room to room) and our room had a beautiful view of Phuket Town. The check-in desk is built into the side of an antique car (how cool is that!) and the staff there couldn’t have been nicer. They treated us like family (and spoke excellent English), even letting us use their wifi to book the room through Agoda so we could get the discount. Once we booked our room, we were promptly greeted with a fancy glass of cold juice to welcome us to the hotel. The staff kept the hotel super clean, and in the morning they opened the floor-to-ceiling lobby windows up as we enjoyed a delicious (and free!) continental breakfast next to the canal, breeze on our faces. The location is very central and I would imagine it’s in walking from some good nightlife spots (we were only there one weeknight during low season, so we didn’t get much opportunity to explore that facet of Phuket Town.) There was a charming & affordable five-star restaurant down the road owned and operated by a world-renowned chef…I wish I could remember the name, ask any Expat there (or poss the hotel staff) and they should point you in the right direction. Would definitely stay here again if I ever make it back to Phuket Town."

"I booked for a 3-night stay. The room was clean and spacious. But the aircon was weak and cant provide cool air to every corner of the room. One sleeping corner was hot and the air is not circulating. they should change the air conditional for that. At one point, it was not in a good condition (water dripping out of it in a moment). The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is located in a small alley so there is not much noise that will affect yr stay, but looking for it for the first time will take u some time and attention but it's not much of a trouble. During my stay, it looks like there is only my friends and me, one room was booked. I think it was the raining season so there is no one. The hotel is just walking distance to the Patpong beach and nightlife. Delicious food and drinks are also just around the corner. It is very convenient. But, if u don't like nightlife activities, I suggest u choose other places nearer the Phuket town."

"was a lil bit concerned with the previous reviews that wrote poor performance of staffs but i was glad that all staffs i met here were all lovely and more than helpful to me; the reception girls, the drivers and even the security guy! i had to check out very early in the morning and i was nervous that my taxi didn't arrive on time, the security guy was happy to help me calling the taxi agent and asked for the situation. they have shuttle van connecting this hotel with its sister hotel that located very close to the jungceylon mall and also bangla road. they deserve good tips for their good services. i booked the mini suite with jacuzzi inside it, very relaxing for my short holiday. room is nice and tidy. location is still on the main road although it's a bit off the crowd. 15 minutes walking to the beach. overall i had a good stay and will be back here again next time i'm in phuket! "This is one of the best hostels, more like a hotel to me, that I stayed at in Thailand. I reserved the smallest private room and I was extremely happy with it: it was super clean, modern and functional. Everything worked 100%. The bathroom was clean and immaculate. Water temperature and pressure was excellent. The staff was friendly and excellent as well. I highly suggest that you utilize their inhouse travel services (STA Travel). Toni from STA, booked a full day island tour that was affordable and luxurious. That's all I'm going to say. If you can opt for a better package, go with it, you won't regret it. Also worth mentioning, is that there are so many activities within the hostel that can allow you to relax, socialize and network with people. Somedays, you can just stay inside the 'hostel', away from the hustle of Phuket within a nice environment and still enjoy yourself. Location is excellent: next to a lot of restaurants, food stalls, massage parlor and Walking ST."

Staff at check in were so friendly and helpful Khun NaN and her team was amazing ... plus their housekeeping is really good they work hard to provide us clean comfortable rooms. Location is good not noisy and polluted further away little from Soi Bangla but really easy to commute, Room is good and great showers . Please don’t compare so much with 5 stars as Chill Patong is really a good budget and comfort place Their staffs works hard to ensure great service to guest would surely be back here to visit again . FYI Really good and Clean rooms Friendly and caring staffs Happy to be your humble guest Chill Patong , Well dome and keep up the good work team ! Krub :) "

"It was my first time to Phuket and I was conscious about where to stay, so I did my homework for 2 months beforehand. Only in the end, I decided to choose to stay in Sleep With Me. I prided myself for doing that because it is really the best hotel to stay in for those who do not want to splurge unnecessarily for luxurious 5-star hotels. The location is right in the middle of all the happenings in Phuket, yet it is very quiet at night, so I had good-night-sleeps for my 5 nights stay. The service is well-done, the breakfast is more than satisfactory and everything you need is close-by...tuk-tuks, taxis, Jungceylon shopping mall, massage and spa centres, Bangla street, 7/11, great food, hundreds of local souvenirs stalls and etc. Stay here! You won't regret! "
