Very nice”
I really enjoyed my stay here. The only thing that got me was the $50 per day parking fee. And $59 if you actually take your car out at all. Besides that, our room was clean and comfortable. We slept like babies. The shower was a tad annoying because it also showers the floor and you use most of your towels to dry the floor....... and I mean soaked. We want to make this our tradition to stay here when we are in the city.

Spent almost 2 delightful weeks at the Claridge”
From the very start we were welcomed by the most pleasant receptionist, April. The whole staff treated us like they knew us and were glad to see us every time. The Continental Breakfast was a good way to start the day and the location is second to none. Whether walking to Oak Street Beach, a fabulous restaurant, or Second City it was easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel.

The location is amazing. You can walk to so much. Parking is a bit annoying, there is a garage next door that you can park in but you have to download the "laz" parking app and pre pay for your visit if you want to be able to take you care in and out. If you don't do that you will be charged each time. The parking app is horrible and you have to put in a lot of information to make it work correctly which can be annoying. Other than parking its a wonderful experience.

Quiet, quaint, and classy”
got a great deal on agoda, and the hotel was right off our favorite beach in chicago, really nice spot. Central to lots of lincoln park goodness. Great staff, our beds were not clean thought still had hair and dirt under the covers from the last blokes. Just check everything they'll work with you.

Location is best”
I love the location because it has a lot of cafes and restos around. It’s also very near to Jewel Osco and the train station. Staff were really nice. But our room was kinda outdated. The paint in our bathroom ceiling is peeling off and its the first thing you see when you enter the bathroom. It’s kinda disturbing coz it was a big peel off. I don’t know why they didn’t fix that or they’re just trying to ignore it. That’s the downside.

Great location, but cleanliness is straight one star”
Stayed for 8 days in Oct, paying average $200 per night. Small king sized room with old facilities (gym is good). Very little utilities like tooth paste or slippers are provided in situ. Sound proof is ok, tho sounds can go through doors easily from the hallway. Cleanliness is really the major issue: everyday there are sheet reset and tower replenish, but almost all the drop-outs or scrapes on the floor or on bed are not picked up or vacuumed. Asked through the in-room panel to do housekeeping keeping several times, but no use. Will not recommend to any one who is picky on cleanliness, or staying over 1-2 nights.

BEWARE HIDDEN FEES”
My wife and I liked this hotel and our experience there. However, when we got home after staying there for two nights, we were charged an extra $33.00. I called and asked why, since when we checked in they told us we had pre-paid online and sent us to our rooms. They said there is a fine print somewhere that says they charge an extra fee per night from the pre-paid fee. It is just over $16.00 a night. We stay at hotels a lot. This has never happened before. The hotel claimed this is just what they do. Beware traveler. This is a nice hotel, but stay there and you will pay an extra fee.
