Nice guest house, but not easy to find ”
i arrived in kuala lumpur at 2:00am, jan 6th. there is no bus from the airport to kl sentral. so i stayed in mcd until 5am to take the bus. then i took the subway to chinatown when it's about 6:30am. but, it took me about 2 hours for me to find this guest house which actually is about 5 mins from the subway station. and what's worse, i waited in front of the door of the guest house for 30+ mins however the guesthouse is 24h-open. whatever, the manager is nice and i enjoyed the days in kuala lumpur. it's a good choice for backpacker.

palmmers has strategic place.Really strategic. It's near from LRT pasar seni, Central Market, Petaling Street-chinatown, Terminal pudu, Mydin, Kuala Lumpur city Gallery, LRT plaza raya. You can get there just on foot!! Clean place, room, and bathroom. It has 5 bathrooms to share. Free breakfast-there are coffee, tea, bread and many jams, and available too a hot n cold dispenser and fridge. The air con is so cool! The wifi connection is good, but just in the living room. It gets suck when you're on the corner of third floor. Oh yaa the housekeeper are really nice, funny, helpful, and friendly!

Perfect, clean, well situated in the heart of Kuala Lumpur 10 minutes/ 10 MYR ride away from KL Central, 1 hour from LCCT at 9 MYR and KLIA at 35MYR by KL Express train, the place is right in front of Central Markets and all the shopping you want to do in KL, restaurants are everywhere and so cheap, it is the perfect place for backpackers and all. A/C in all the room, Hot shower, coffee and toast for breakfast.. all that for less than 16$ per night what more could you asked? I will definitively return to this place on my next trip to KL in June....I found a really nice place for half the cost.

Hostels aren't cheap in Malaysia and they aren't usually friendly, but Daddy's is standard price and friendly and very chilled, Daddy himself is a real good guy and I would reccommend here to any backpacker who is used to standard hostels, check in and chill out and get to know Daddy, full of knowledge :)

i stayed 2 nights here. i really love the manager of the guest house, he is very friendly, he helps me a lots, give me a map, and show how i can go to some place from this guest house. the guest house is very clean, nice, and the air condition works very well. it's so convenient to go any where, there are many food cournt and shopping area near here. i will come back this guest house for next trip to kuala lumpur

the guesthouse owner ebrahim is a very kind and helpful man. nice person who eager to help us. the rooms of this guesthouse and clean and comfortable, i had a very nice night and sleep over there. the price of this house is also so acceptable and economical, which suits all the backpackers and who have limited bugets. this guesthouse is just located near to the chinatown, but the place is a bit hard to find if you know there very well. but no problem, just ring the guesthouse and they will lead you the way and even pick you up. there service are very nice!go!

I did enjoy my holiday in Kuala Lumpur though it was just a short stay here. The guesthouse welcomed me with friendly staff. Actually, I changed to single room at the time I arrived just because I thought that I need some private space. The room is okei as a budget guesthouse. The location is quite good, just cross the street and you will be in Chinatown, very busy market. Also, there is Kasturi Walk and Central market just behind the guesthouse. However, noise-killing from other rooms and floors was not good. Other guests made a lot of noise making me not easy to have a sleep earlier every night.

Great couple who host make you feel like you are truly in a home away from home, this is a real value for money place, best kept clean and free toast and coffee/tea for breakfast, no bed bugs or pests. Shared bath/toilets is the only hassle if that, if you want luxury this is not the place for you, great for back packers short or long term stays.

I choose this hostel because its location. Very near with the LRT station, Chinatown and Central Market. Value for money. Also got wifi. Clean bathroom. Very friendly staff. The room quite big for 4 peoples. Air conditioning in the room works very well. Kinda important with the hot weather in KL. This guesthouse interior design is like a local house. Very friendly environment for me as Malaysian. What I don't like is the bed. The bed still wrapped with the plastic. When you sleep and move, there will be an annoying plastic sound. They must love their bed very mucn and dont want to contaminated it. Overall I will be back!

Ibrahim and Freda are very nice people who help you feel 'at home'. They are helpful with local knowledge. The rooms and facilities are honestly shown on the website and there is no downside to what you get for your money. I checked rates at nearby accommodation, and Palmmers is very competitive. I look forward to spending time there again.

I spent my day in the dorm, there is only one person which is me. The dorm is spacious, only 6 dollars and really clean. Toliet is cleaner than u can ever think. Good Location, next to Central Market and Chinatown, 3 minutes' walk to subway station. Really worth it.

this hotel has the best price compared with all the other hotels we have stayed, and the location is equally good with those hotels. the facilites are not bad. the staff is pretty nice. but we are required to take off our shoes when we entered the hotel, yet the carpet is not that clean, making our feet dirty...and there is no window in the room.
