Advantages: The accommodation has a spa bath and a hammock. I've been here three times and stayed in different rooms each time, and it seems that they all have these features. The owner and staff are friendly, and housekeeping is done quickly. They also provide plenty of towels. I didn't use the pool, but it looked spacious and clean. The view from the veranda with the hammock is beautiful, and the air is nice since it's in the mountains, making it an optimal place for healing while enjoying a cool breeze. Basic amenities like a coffee pot, refrigerator, electric stove, dishes, cooking utensils, combs, hair dryers, shampoo, and conditioner are all provided. There is a convenience store nearby that is open until 11 PM, but there are hardly any other restaurants in the vicinity. It might be good to use the store operated by the accommodation or to buy bottled water in advance. Tip: Since it is located in the mountains, there may be restrictions on walking. However, I walked for about 20 minutes to a bus stop where the intervals are not that long. The way is straightforward, so if it’s not too hot, it’s nice to walk as a form of light exercise. There is a bus that goes directly to Seogwipo city right in front of the accommodation, but the intervals are long, so it’s best to check the time before heading out to make it convenient. They inform you that bath additives are not allowed in the tub and usage is restricted after 10 PM. I recommend filling the tub with water by 9 PM. As someone who prefers to walk, despite the inconvenient location, I find this accommodation personally healing and I recommend it!
First of all, I don't think it's satisfactory for those who want to choose a very clean and good accommodation based on hotel conditions. I also hesitated a bit since the reviews were divided between highly praised, mentioning great value for money, and those expressing dissatisfaction due to outdated facilities. However, I ended up being very satisfied. The basic room is in decent condition, and for those who have been to resorts, it might seem familiar. The essentials are provided, but it's not as clean as a newly built place, and there are signs of aging in various areas. However, there were no issues with bugs or hygiene at all. What I liked most was the swimming pool. The garden + pool view from the room was super beautiful and exciting (even cloudy days have their charm). During my 2-night, 3-day stay, I enjoyed it thoroughly and made good use of the pool four times before and after sightseeing. The black pork restaurant was also really delicious. I had a fixed schedule, so I only visited once, but I thought next time I come back, I would stay here again and have dinner there regularly. I have another trip planned to Jeju around the end of August, and I will stay here again then too! ^^
The bed was comfortable and the view was nice. The cost-performance ratio is good, and it's very suitable for family stays. If you have kids, you'll enjoy a happy day at the swimming pool where they can play in the water. Overall, I think the cleanliness and hygiene conditions are good.
I booked accommodation at a low price on Agoda. I heard that it was clean and close to Seongpanak. The route to the summit was blocked due to bad weather, so after visiting the Jindallae Shelter, I took bus 181 down and then bus 612 to Donnaeko Hill Resort. I wanted to use the hot spring, so I asked at the front desk, and they upgraded my room by two levels, allowing me to access the spa. When I checked it out, the living room was spacious, the bedroom was nice, and there was a bathtub available for soaking in warm water. After that, I had a delicious dinner at the nearby black pork restaurant with a 10% discount. The next day, when I asked about transportation to Seongsan Ilchulbong, they said a call taxi would cost about 40,000 won, so I made the reservation and enjoyed a great sunrise. I plan to use it again for my next Hallasan hike.

If you're with children, the resort's swimming pool can add to the fun, and you can enjoy stargazing while in the spa on the outdoor terrace. There’s an amusement park within walking distance, and Seogwipo City is about ten minutes away, along with places like the arboretum, making it great for traveling around central Seogwipo. I recommend visiting when you want a good cost-performance ratio and a resort feel. I would consider visiting again.
