Pleasurable, warming, family friendly”
First thing to do is remember where you are, this is a third world country and considering that this hotel in my opinion ranked high, don't expect luxury, your in Naga, luxury has no relevance here, the staff was exceptionally polite, considerate, helpful and very friendly, we meet the owner who was very friendly, warm and nice, once after meeting us she offered to up grade our room. This hotel is designed to make you feel at home in Naga. If you are like us and never been to Naga I can truly recommend this hotel as a first time place to stay. We will be returning in April, and we will be staying at the flamingo.

Reasonably Priced With Abundant Services”
Pleasant staff. The place was clean and there was private security guards 24 hours. Price through Agoda is very competitive. Shuttle service from and to local airport as big plus. Located smack on main highway, making commuting by public transport convenient. Guest rooms are further back so noise level from highway is more subdued. In the past and in numerous occasions, I have stayed in many hotels within a 70 km radius. One must not compare Flamingo Hostel to high class hotels but, I can definitely assure you that you will get your money's worth by billeting here. You will have more money in your pocket to spend during your stay.

Once or twice per year my wife and I travel to Naga City to have our vehicle serviced and to shop. We are not on vacation, so we look for an inexpensive but comfortable and clean hotel to stay in. Flamingo fits our needs perfectly. Their restaurant serves delicious meals too.

Convenient Hotel”
We travel occasionally to Naga City and need to stay at an affordable, clean, and safe hotel during our two day visits. This hotel fits the bill. It is not fancy, but is clean, comfortable, and serves great tasting food in their restaurant. It is also well located for my purposes right off the main highway and mid-way between a car dealership I visit and the SM mall area. I do not have to go to central Naga City, which is a traffic nightmare. Staff is always helpful.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Flamingo! T'was clean and comfy. They were able to accommodate our special request which is good (early check in & transfer to airport). Their staff were friendly and able to quickly serve us with our needs (water & breakfast). Just a suggestion to add free bottled water ready upon arrival of your guests and slippers as well. But overall, Flamingo is one of the best yet affordable hotels I've been to in Naga! We'll definitely recommend this place to our friends!

Impressed with improvements”
We have stayed here before and stayed again this time strictly for the location near the businesses we needed to visit. We were pleasantly surprised that the room (identified as a suite) has been upgraded with a quiet, split-type air conditioner and comfortable mattress, making for a restful night's sleep. I was also impressed with the large, expanded and enclosed entry/eating area in front. We had to leave at 2:30 am on our day of departure and I mentioned to staff that we would miss our free breakfast. Instead, staff opened the eating area at 2:00 am for us and prepared a breakfast of hot coffee, hard boiled eggs and toast. Nothing fancy, but we certainly appreciated the extra effort made just for us. Will definitely return next time we have business in Naga.

It was not a 5-star stay, but the hotel was very comfortable, clean, and conveniently located to where we wanted to go in Camarines Sur. The hotel staff were also very friendly, helpful, and responsive to our needs. We would recommend Flamingo to anyone or any family who wants a no-frills stay in CamSur.

We went to Flamingo since the hostel that we normally check into was full. I think my loyalty will still with with the other hostel since the price is better for a better room and better facilities. Flamingo is also a bit out of the way given that there are other hostels in the center of the city.

We arrived around 3am and the usual check in time was 12pm. they gave us a temporary room for us to stay and sleep!It was so gracious of them not to charge us extra for super early check in. they have the friendliest staff in the world and most importantly their beds are comfy for a budget hotel.

Typical Hotel”
I asked my wife, "would you stay here again?" and she no way. It is a 1 star budget place. The bedroom is very small and bathroom (about a meter square)had leaking water, not clean, one towel for two people, noisy cheap aircon. We did not enjoy the bed bugs or hard bed with no sheets. Facilities are what you find in average Filipino home, so the locals are used to it. We stay in Naga regularly on business so tried this place, but never again. Should charge P500 per night max.
