Amazing value for money”
Whatever the local reputation is, I'll say Fragrance Hotel (Classic) was amazing value for money. Service was really great (staff greet you at lounge, daily cleaning etc.). Location is at Balestier Rd, well connected by buses but slightly further off from MRT. Of course space in bedroom and shower are a bit constrained. Window view was not great but it helps to have a window. Our room had some ants on first day and I think someone snuck in durian despite it not being allowed. But it was overall a pleasant stay

The room was very neat and clean. They also quickly attend to our requests like when the shampoo and toilet paper ran out, it was quickly addressed. They were also kind enough to lend us an umbrella when it started to rain and we were about to go out and about in the city. The room was small, but its space was well maximized that it was still able to provide a comfortable experience. AC was strong, hot water was functioning all the time, we were given bottles of water whenever we requested for them, bed and pillows were very comfortable. Would recommend and would definitely come back.

Not crowded place, near to 24 hours food stall , walking distance to grocery, cafe , park and has 7/11 beside of it.Bus stop goin Mrt is near too. Room is good for two pax as it may congested for family room, Staying only for business purpose will be fine. Room is small butClean and organized. Staff are all fine too.

My hotel room was clean. I stayed for quite a long time (14 days). The number of cockroaches I saw during my stay: ZERO! Which is all that matters to me. My unit was small, but acceptable for a solo traveler like me. The clothes hangers are an awkward design, and cannot be hung anywhere else aside from the designated clothes rack, which itself is quite small (low capacity). I wish they had traditional clothes hangers so I can hang my clothes in more places.

Clean rooms with basic amenities like toothbrush,hair dryer,kettle,coffee/tea making, water heater, flat basic TV and good air-conditioning. Walking distance to 24hr grocery store,spc petrol kiosk with atm, zhongshan mall's with mcdonald,Starbucks,ntuc etc. Just next building is the famous rochor beancurd.
