1. Less wire and cables for the kids to pull 2. Plug socket were place on the table , safe for kids 3. Electric kettle to make kids milk is available 4. Mini bar or fridge ( help to store ebm) 5. The shower is good heavy down fall, moveable shower head is just nice to give the kids a bath 6. Available indoor parking is easy to carry the kids even it is raining( a lil stairs, avoid stroller) 7. The lift is just nice 8. The lobby is huge and have seats to wait 9. The hallway/walkaway is just perfect for stroller and wheelchair) 10. The wifi is good too 11. Kids channel were helpful 12. The tv wiring were nicely kept hidden. 13. The staff were helpful 14. Maybank/7e/ tesco is located nearby. Walking distance. 15. Easy to find food around the hotel.

Spacious and clean room”
The hotel is just 5 km away from town and 8 km away from airport, located at the new developed area and surrounded by shop lots and restaurants. There is night market for local foods and there is TESCO mall just opposite the main road. This is the right choice for stay in at Alor Setar

So far semua SUPERB. Staff sooooo friendly and helpfull. Bilik besar king size bed. memang puas hati for my first trip to Kedah. just a bit tad dissapointed sbb kena tunggu room siap 430pm baru dpt check in. sebab ada anak kecik dh merengek letih. tp xpe depan hotel ada LOTUS besaq so boleh lah jln2 dulu. Beautiful view of the city. Ada rezeki akan menginap di sini lagi InshAllah

Acceptable price for high star rated hotel”
The hotel room is very spacious, very clean and comfy. There's lots of food stalls located nearby so there was easy for me to find some food for dinner. Overall, with the price i have paid, it was acceptable for this luxurious hotel.

The hotel is located near to shops, Tesco and lots of small stall just beside the hotel. The room is spacious and the bed is big and very comfortable. The water pressure for the shower was also strong. The only set back is the lighting at night very deam.

Very good hotel, well maintained, clean. Very friendly staff. Nice room ambience and deco. Except for the covered multiple parking levels at the back are quite small for big car at corners. Be extra careful. Limited open parking space in front of hotel.

I love the ambience. It's near Lotus's Supermarket (known as Tesco previously). There are several food stalls (except Tuesday). ATM (Maybank), 7eleven and Laundry shop are just around the corner. Definitely will come back again. P.s.: you can ask for a room with view of your choice (nature-paddy field or city-face the Lotus's Supermarket) and whether low floor or high floor (they have 16 floors at Grand Alora, Alor Setar)

great place to stay. I get room with paddy view. Breakfast not so many choice but who cares?? Only the bed is high compare to normal bed. Not suitable for old people but still comfort to sleep..

Nice bed and location”
Location is good, 10mins from city centre by car. Superior room is sufficiently spacious for a king bed, writing table, side tables, ironing board, an extra bed, cupboard and a small cofee/tea making facilities. The fancy fridge was not working as expected at first, we informed the front desk and they promptly have it replaced. Bathroom was clean and spacious too. Overall, very comfortable. If I could hv 1 suggestion, perhaps there could be extra lighting units on top of the bed for an option to make the room brighter. Love the surrounding as well, Tesco hypermarket is right across the road, there are local eateries from morning till night time at the left and right of the hotel. Delicious as well. Will definitely stay here again whenever I'm in Alor Setar.
