We were a family of 6 and booked the huge Family room with 3 king beds.. super clean, comfy, cold air conditioning and room smelt fresh ! .. opening windows in room . Bathroom was fine, plenty of hot water and pressure. Large lounge and tv, fridge in room . Plenty of room to stay and do shopping before leaving to fly home. Breakfast was okay, more Asian, but we left full enough and breakfast staff super friendly and helpful to make omelette or scrambled egg for kids, but very tiny tables ! QuickMart 2 doors near hotel. ATM next door, safe. Reception staff speak great English and can help with anything , my teenager shattered his new I-Phone screen, reception lady wrote down address where to go and get fixed- fixed in 3 hrs for $36= happy teenager 👍 Bahn Than market just around the corner, but cheaper to get a taxi ($2) over to ‘Lucky Plaza’ (Mc Donald’s) ‘Taka Plaza’ or market opposite Saigon Plaza. Would definitely stay here again, great location, value !

We extended our plan and stayed for more days at Happy Land Hotel. This hotel is small but its location is excellent (very close to cho Ben Thanh where you can walk and shop for things without spending money for taxi). The air-conditioning in the room is very good. The staff is super friendly and helpful. There is music at night from the bar near by, that we could hear from our rooms. However, we still love staying at this hotel. We would come back once we are in Vietnam next time.

This was my first time in Vietnam, traveling alone . Happy Land Hotel was my first online booked hotel for first two days (Nov 04-Nov 08, 2019) before flying to Hanoi. The staffs very friendly and helpful. Allow me early check-in at noontime. The room 802 was clean, comfy, better than I expected. Air-conditioning cooling was good. Bathroom space and hot/cold water system good. The breakfast buffet choices was more than sufficient. The location was strategically located near Ben Thanh Market which I used as point of reference while exploring the city. It's also a 450meter walking distance to nearest bus stop for Bus#109 Airport Express bus. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!

Great hotel. Good service . They organised a grab car for me which was really good. Some of the reception staff had a bit of trouble understanding English. I stayed there on 2 separate occasions and would stay there again. I would recommend this hotel

Location : 5 min from Ben Thanh Market. 10 min to Independence Palace, HCM museum, Museum of Fine Art, Tao Dan Park. Bonus point is next to a 24 hour convenience store which sell slightly cheaper then Circle K or Family Mart. Room : It a bit small but I cant complain much due to the money we pay for it. My comment for the room entrance to have some spacing to put my shoe at a corner spot. It is quite sound proof as my room tv sound cant be heard even when I stand outside of my room door to test it. Bathroom : Love the huge space. Suggestion to have a rack in the shower glass for us to pick up the soap easier. Staff : Very friendly staff & smile all the time. They even open the door for me when I about to came it from my day trip several times. Facilities : I did not see much facilities. Anyway, I choose this hotel is mainly due to its price & location. Breakfast : A bit dissapointed in their breakfast. I stay for 4 nights & the food we took is 80% the same each day.
