My happy place!”
I first discovered Harana Surf Resort on one of the party nights in Siargao Island, and I immediately fell in love. The atmosphere and the interior design felt very authentic to the Filipino culture, that I was very proud to keep returning back for meals, drinks and surf lessons. This year we were very fortunate enough to be able to book the Deluxe Balcony room (as they are usually fully booked), and the room did not disappoint! It had a massive queen size bed and a seperate single bed, enough to fit 3 people comfortably. The rooms were clean, hygienic, and the showers had hot water which was a big plus! Staff are super welcoming and friendly, so are the surf instructors!! (Shout out to Kuya Totong for teaching me!) I honestly had the best time staying here, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Siargao.

One of the coolest hotels to stay and hangout. ”
The place is located in semi central of the town. So many restaurants and bars to hop in. Super clean, well maintained, green and lush gardens, beautiful houses. Typical Siargao. Wonderful landscapes and green forests. We definitely recommend harana to every one. Plus the breakfast and all Filipino delicacies are delicious! Siargao is the best island to surf!!!! We had a great time surfing, diving, kayaking, beach hunting and many many more! Everyone should come and visit siargao! Thanks to the staff of harana! Wonderful and lovely local people! Excellent service from the reception to the waiters. Always at smile and courteous.

Lovely resort right on the beach”
This is a lovely resort located right on the beach. It has a nice open laid-back feel to it. The rooms are simple but beautiful with warm timber finishes and high ceilings. Only about 800m walk to Cloud 9 and there's always a tricycle going past if you are feeling lazy. They have a great open air restaurant which does meals through out the day. On a Saturday the place turns into a club playing a great mix of recent house and 90s classics until midnight (so you can still get a half decent sleep if you need to). The only drawback is that the resort (and the whole island) is still recovering from Typhoon Odette. So for 2022, don't be surprised if a couple of rooms still being renovated in the background. Everything else is fully operational. Overall a great stay and I can't believe how lucky I was that my original planned accommodation was fully booked and I had to come to Harana instead.

Very nice resort”
We had a very relaxing stay here. The staff are very nice and accomodating. They have a party every sat night and sobrang enjoy kame. Masarap din food nila and all in all the price is reasonable. Malapit dn xa sa cloud9 walking distance lang 5mins. Will surely comeback. Thanks again to all the staff esp to kuya for the ube shots :)

Exceptional”
I stayed here for a week, just 1 day before Typhoon Odette ravaged the whole Siargao Island. The place has its own beach access, bar and restaurant. It is also walking distance to the Cloud 9 surfing area. What I liked about this resort was its people! They are welcoming and I felt so secure and happy during my stay. The food being served at the restaurant was very delicious. I may also add that it has home made ice cream and coffee shop beside the restaurant. This is a very cozy and relaxing resort and I would return and stay again if I'll come back to Siargao.

Location and vibes”
First stay stay at Harana. Everyone is super accommodating and attentive. Room was clean and air-con is working fine. I stayed in room D4 balcony. Location is just right. Best to rent a scooter from front desk. Easiest way to explore the island.

Pandemic Holiday Treat ”
We booked early March 2021, but because of the ever-changing travel restrictions, we had to rebook several times. Harana Surf Resort was always able to accommodate our calls every single time we had travel issues. Even when we got there in October 2021, our almost 1 week stay was perfect. The actual hotel, the staff, the food, the service leaves us wanting to stay more. It felt more like going home to a distant relative. We'll definitely come back. Special Mention to Ate Janet, Ate Ged, Ate Maricar, and everybody, you guys made our stay and our engagement shoot worthwhile. :)

Superb Location!throw a stone away to the beach!”
We have the best experience in this hotel it really made our Siargao trip perfect! Its roughly 15mins walk to Cloud 9! Harana is a beach resort as well the beach is super near u can have ur walk the moment u wake up! The reception is super friendly the moment we alight from the van they greeted us for our monthsary😍 all the staff is super friendly! The food is great but of course expect the price a bit high but a must try! We will choose this hotel again for our 2023 siargao trip!

Super loved our stay in Harana! I love how #HaranaSurf puts effort to promote #SustainableTourism! Love their bilao plates, banana leaf plate cover, niyog candle holders, bamboo racks, wooden spoons, palayok, nipa placemats and roof, wood chandeliers plussss coconut trees unharmed and became part of the restaurant. If buget allows, enroll at #HaranaSurfSchool to learn how to surf. My girls loved the experience and this was their best Siargao moment. All of their staff were so warm and friendly even the owners!!! I was able to have a chit chat with Sir Mike and Ian PLUS thank you so much for a very generous gift to complete our Siargao Ootd 🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢

Fantastic beachfront experience”
We had a wonderful time here. Spent 3 days in the beachfront cottage and woke up every morning to a splendid sunrise and a tasty breakfast. Everybody we spoke to at the resort was nice and helpful and the bed was extra comfortable. Thanks Harana!

Chill vibe! Awesome food, cute dogs, superb staff! We are going to miss Chito and Wikwik the dogs. Must try, Turon and the Sisig and Dinakdakan and the Pyanggang Chicken. Awesome Surf Instructors too. 🤙 Til next time :)

Superb staff and excellent food”
We loved our stay especially the food is great and the staff ate friendly. Sir Jason the manager as well was all smiles and very accomodating. Almost perfect if we were not transferred to veranda since we paid for balcony. But we were given free lunch for the swap. Highly recommend the restaurant here!

Outstanding staff”
Outstanding staff of Harana - from Reservation to Reception to Housekeeping. There were a couple of hitches with the Restaurant staff but they immediately apologized and their attitude and professionalism were commendable. The only minus points (for some) were the lack of wifi, and the ultra-big mosquitoes. But staff, food, and the room, really gave value for money! Kudos to the staff!

They could do better”
The room was clean and big enough. Good was a little bland and wait staff all seemed like they would rather be doing something else. We are in Siargao several times a year even during the pandemic for work and we’ve tried a lot of restaurants but it was only in Harana where we met unfriendly staff. Even when we try to engage them into a conversation and smile and be friendly, we felt like fools for even trying. We only had one dinner there and breakfast because it came with the room, but all of our meals during our 4-day stay were at different restaurants because of better ambiance and attitude. And no, I won’t stay there again.
