Exceptional”
Nice bed, huge locker, quick wifi, clean bathroom - can't ask for more. Although located on the busiest street of Tam Coc, due to the dormitory is at the backend, noise was never an issue.

Good place to stay”
The bed very comfortable all facilities were very good, WC, bath room clean and you could always see the staff cleaning, besides they have a big locker for my big backpack and a little one near to the bed can lock my ipad camera when I didn't need to use it, this very good for me. I stayed many dorm have no locker. Staff very helpful and willing to provide good service, location also very good for staying in Ninh Binh, that'w a very good experience.

Hostel behind a convenience store ”
We enjoyed the novelty of staying here. The rooms and dorm are upstairs behind a store, so you have to walk through the back storage area. Our room was clean and dark, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Having snacks downstairs is a bonus. Could hear the bar music next store but they close early. The store and hostel doors close around 11pm, which may be an issue for late night outings, but the owner said to contact after hours for entry. Would recommend.

Decent stay”
Only stayed a night but the place was very clean. Air con in rooms and curtains to go across the beds for privacy. Owner and daughter were very nice and helped me with everything. Would stay again.

Greatest beds in Vietnam, a bit noisy tho”
The beds in this hostel were great, soft matrasses, nice blankets. Haven't seen more comfortable beds in Vietnam so far - for Western standards. The room had 2 windows but they were both adjacent to noisy inside spaces, so not much daylight, no view and a of course noisy (i.e. Loud party music). The room was clean. Bathroom was okay. Breakfast was pretty good, nice options and big portions. The staff is really kind on top of that. You can also book tours and busses with them but they might be a little more expensive, so if you see a better deal somewhere else, let the staff know so that you can book with them. We always prefer to book with the accomodation to help their business but we don't buy tickets when they are overpriced. Finally there was free bottled water, and several games to recreate (chess, pooling...)

I stayed here for 3 nights, spent one night in the mixed dorm and 2 nights in a private room, both where very clean and comfortable. The staff are super, the host kindly took me into ninh binh to buy my boyfriend a gift and cake for his birthday. And one of the giys that worked in the bar taught me how to carve fruit into flowers. They also have a great bar and balcony area with a pool table. All in all would highly reccommend hoa luan. Thanks very much guys 😊

Home away from home”
Staying in Hoa Luan was like staying at home. It is a family ran place and everyone is absolutely lovely. We arrived at 5am after being dropped off from a very early bus and they let us check in. Food in the restaurant was delightful and they serve any coffee you may want, from Vietnamese egg coffee to Italian latte. Room was spacious with high ceilings, very clean and super comfy beds. We absolutely loved our stay. The only minus was that we bought a bus ticket to Hanoi there only to find out on the bus that others paid half the price for the ticket. Different hotels may have different deals with the transport companies do I would recommend to maybe gave a look around first.

We arrived by bus early morning (5am), the hotel was closed but I called and the owner came to open for us. Lucky us the hotel was not full so we could go directly in the room and finish the night. She did not charge us anything. The owner is nice she speak English and some French. We booked bus ticket with her. Good location, clean room, good restaurant (try viet Hot Pot)

Great Choice”
The family who lives here, particularly the matriarch is so nice and makes you feel at home. They run the restaurant and live here too which is great because they're always around. She could the food fresh when you order it and it's a great place to grab a smoothie after a hot day exploring the surrounding sights. The room and particularly the bathroom are very clean and the matriarch is always working! Would definitely stay here again. Wifi is strong. The only thing that would make this place better is a pool!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were friendly, and I felt right at home. The beds were extremely comfortable and the food served in the restaurant was second to none. Also very cheap and good portion sizes. I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone. Would definitely stay again. Bye

Best Bed in SEA!!!”
We have been traveling for 3 months in Southeast Asia and can say with all honesty, this is the best room and absolute best bed we have slept in since we left America. The host family is so kind and accommodating. They do seem to expect that you eat your meals at the guesthouse (missed that memo) but we are vegan so sometimes we would eat elsewhere because as always in anyplace in the world, options for us are limited. In hindsight, I know they would have made us anything to order even if it weren't on the menu. I wish I had understood that in the beginning. Still so kind even tho we didn't always eat there. We would have loved to have stayed longer here, but were on a tight travel time line, we would DEFINITELY stay here again and recommend this to any and everyone we know. Thanks for a great stay!

The woman at standing is really nice. She booked for us motorbikes, bicycles and the bus to go to Phong Nha. The room was perfect, clean and with all equipement. The breakfast is a really good.
