When I check In. There's no staff at the hostel. It's okay then. Even strangers can just come in. As the door is not lock. One toilet for like 15-20ppl in the hostel. Gotta queue if everyone come back at the same time. Price is cheap! If you go for budget. It's still okay.

Location really near with subway and bus. A lots of restaurant around the area also the convenience store so we won’t get afraid to get hungry. I hope there’s a microwave and refrigerator too

I was so sad when there is nothing but basically just a bed and a bathroom. I was hoping that you have a full kitchen and utensils. But i am grateful that they refund my booking as follow my staying time because my frozen food gone missing when i put it not even a day. :( be careful with ur stuff especially food because they dont have place to put that (i mean ref) so they can easily throw it away, even when you put ur name there. I hope you improve everything! Good luck

this guesthouse is just able to provide you a bed for sleep ( not clean) the hot shower is not function well. no staff available, no reply if you texted them. the living room is so dirty. there i s kettle in the living room but full of dust. the good thing is the location is very near the train station.

It had nice time at Housetay Guesthouse. At first I got shocked because the house was really different than the picture. I kind of get lost because of that. However, everything was okay and it was comfortable staying at this place. Since I was lost, I don't anyone to freak out and get lost. So here are the directions: If you came from incheon airport to hongdae via airport limousine then get out at Hongik station stop. After that, you cross the road heading towards hongdae subway station 9. When you reach subway station 9, walk straight and turn right and you will see MCM. Then if you see MCM walk from the side of the building straight and you will see Honeycomb shop and take that street and walk straight and you will see a brick building and it has sign on outside on black board. If you are coming via subway which is way easier and cheaper then your stop will be Hongik Station and get out from exit 7. Then walk down the stairs and wall straight until you see HAGUKA OR HONEYCOM. Goodluck

Comfort at its best”
I love this hostel so much. I was a bit lost at first but found my way. The hostel is pretty much near the Hongik station Line 2 Exit 8. It was 30 minutes before closing time when I arrived and gladly I was able to checked in. The staffs are friendly and super nice. Love it! I booked for 1 bed in a 6-bed dormitory but the manager(?) gave me a bed in a 4-bed dormitory (I didnt have to pay for the extra) which is better. Super thanks for that! The room for 4 is spacious enough for me. It has curtains which provides enough privacy. Towel and toiletries were provided. The bed is a bit hard though but its okay. This hostel is surrounded with a lot of restaurants, convenience stores, and also near to the hongdae park. It feels like home. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely book here again when I come back in Korea.

Clean and good location”
I would like to thank the korean staff who clean the toilet and living room once every two or three days. The toilet and living room are super clean throughout the stay. We followed the direction in the confirmation email from the guesthouse but it direct us to the 3rd branch. Called a blonde hair staff who can speak both korean and english from 2nd branch to lead us but i supposed she was too excited to meet her friends so she keep asking us to wait a minute but we ended up waiting like 20mins outside the 3rd branch just for her to finish chit-chatting. Other staffs are friendly. A japanese staff make the effort to chat with us and make sure our stay is comfortable. Beware, the staffs might even have friday night party. It might be really annoying when you tried to have a good rest but outside the room the staffs were shouting and laughing. Location and cleanliness are superb. Walking distance to shopping street, university and many good restaurants in Hongdae area.

Strategic location”
The Guesthouse itself is located in a very strategic location which is very near to Hongik Univ Station. You can even enjoy the busking session near the guesthouse every night. The only drawback is the one bathroom that is being shared with all the people staying in the same guesthouse. But for me and my friend, you get what you paid for and if we are going to Korea again, we will definitely book in this guesthouse again.

Perfect for location”
Just few minutes walk from exit 8 Hongdae station. You even just need to walk straight to find the guesthouse. The only bad thing for me was the bed is too thin, I couldn't sleep easily because of that

The water heater was bad. It's either too cold or too hot. Other than that, it's recommendable. Right at the heart of happening area”
Take note that the sign in front of the house stated 'NORI HOUSETAY' We walked about 2 rounds cuz we thought we arrived at the wrong place.

The location is so great! this guesthouse is very easy to find, located in the center of hongdae, very close to subway (2mins walk) . the room is warm and comfortable, but only have 1 bathroom. if you get there early(before11am), it is very important that you have to contact the staff before you getting there, or else you may have to wait for a few hours!

It was okay, room and toilet are clean and also includind easy breakfast, staff cleaning room every morning, I feel like stay at home. reasonable Price! Very easy to go everywhere in soule by subway. VERY Near subway line 2, hongik university exit 8 ...turn left and walk straight to BBQ streets only 5 min.
