good choice for a stop over”
we just spent 1 night (1/2 night) at the cosmo hotel when we had a stop over in mumbai. it's a 10 minutes drive from the airport. the staff was friendly and the room was nice and clean (we had a triple room), but the bathroom was tiny. we asked if they could drive us at 3.30 am to the airport and it was no problem at all (400 rs). however, it took a while to find some sleep because people in the hotel were quite noisy (and it seemed that the walls are pretty thin). however, noise from the street was o.k., because the hotel is a small alley. the price we paid was fair. we would choose again hotel cosmo for a stop over in mumbai.

good budget hotel near mumbai airport”
lovley budget hotel with all modern amenities only a luxury hotel can offer such amenities. i was enjoyed my stay and really worth it and absolute value for money.clean room,ac, lcd,bathroom attach and most importantly wifi was working good. hotel is good for transit stay or two to three nights stay in mumbai.

Adequate Hotel, small roon”
Pick-up included which is good but note that they will not meet you at arrivals meeting point but rather will be driving around the airport carpark / drop off zone which means you will need to be able to phone them especially if your flight is delayed as mine was and is very common in India. Also means you will get hassled by taxi drivers offering you help/a lift. Room is very small and twin bed is unavailable so was a little inconvenient as I was travelling with my dad. Hotel staff will pick up and deliver food from a variety of local restaurants for you saving you the hassle of having to go out in Andheri which is not a particularly nice area. The downside is that you will need to eat in your room on the bed. Note that the hotel charges for drop-off to the airport so either make your own arrangements or agree the price with them first to avoid any problems. Flush in the toilet did not work in our room but they were very quick in changing rooms for us so no problem there. Free wifi in the hotel is a big plus. Overall, a good hotel if you're stopping off for a couple of days but no more really.

Real value for money and excellent location”
The hotel is located close to the airport. Unlike other reviews, its very easily reachable and has a lot of eating places around. The rooms are spacious and the cable television has a wide variety of channels which can keep you entertained. The staff is very helpful. I wanted medicines and they ran early morning to fetch me medicines. They even helped me get delivery of my shopping.

convenient location for business travellers”
This is the third time I am staying in this hotel as it is convenintly located near the Digital & electronic market,Famoous Pedestrian street. Beside Pearl River wher you can spend your evening watching pear river and river cruises. Many road side food stalls and Dumling Resturants for which Guangzhou is famous far is within walking distance. Haizu Square is very convenient for Air Port express which cost only 10RMB from this hotel. Rooms are according to the price I pay . It is O.K. with the price and facilities are satisfactory with Internet connection and WIFI in the lobby.

Decent rooms, poorly managed hotel”
this was my second stay at cosmos,(my first was a brief late night stopover ten days previous). this second stint, however, was not so great. the hotel manager/owner has a young toddler who was allowed to roam the small lobby area, which is quite small, screaming and crying and laughing late into the evening for over two hours, until i finally went out and complained. the same exact thing happened again the following night, starting at 7:30, the time i returned. i was only staying until 8:30 that same night,then checking out to catch a late night flight,but for the hour i was there, she was at it again, creating a huge racket with youthful impunity. i don't know, maybe it's a cultural thing. maybe in india, small child are allowed to do this, but as a westerner trying to sleep, it most definitely disturbed me and was quite annoying. the room itself is quite clean and comfortable, and the price definitely makes the place attractive. but it's hard to find. the hotel looks trashy, but you'll be pleasantly surprised at the quality of the rooms inside.

Hotel Cosmo was an easy place to stay, airport pick up was handy although we thought the return transfer organized by hotel was very overpriced (You would be better off arranging your own transport). Extensive and cheap room service. Breakfast was bland.

Good Htel in an out of Tourist Action Area”
To start with as with other Gust, I had a tough time finding it. i Basically told the Taxi Driver to leave me on the Street. Finally staff from Benz told me how to get there. It is a Safe place but During the Day there was a lot of Noise as Some one Decided to Build a New Shack next to the Hotel. The area is Bad but is Safe. Traveling is the Major Problem. Trying to get into the Trains at Anderi Station is Impossible. I had to pay for First Class and it was pretty Expensive. And then again There seems to be all sorts of characters in First Class too. The Stay was Pleasant but I wish I stayed closer to Coloba where it more Tourist Oriented Place. This is a good hotel for short term stay

Clean, cool, serviceable place for a little whille”
we stayed at hotel cosmo, as we were getting into mumbai late at night and leaving the next morning. we arranged the included airport pickup, but needed to call from the airport to have them actually send the car over. it was pretty clean, with wifi in the lobby and a private shower - pretty much what's needed after a long plane flight. room was small but totally fine.

I just stayed one night for domestic transit. In fact, I booked the wrong date by mistake. But I got the reception from hotel manager when I arrived at late night. The room is small but clean. It's good for short visits or domestic transit at Mumbai.

Only for a quick visit, no tourist location”
We booked an 'executive' room including pickup at the airport. Unfortunately, nobody showed up at the airport. Some people from Holland International were so kind to call the hotel and after another half our the pickup arrived. The hotel is not far from the int. airport, but absolutely not in a tourist area. Mumbay south is aprox. 30 km. We only spend one day: we had to take a fligt the next evening. The hotel arranged a taxi for sightseeing, so that's ok. The room was very small, but clean. If you consider the location and the small rooms, they did what they could: clean and breakfast in the room. So, it is ok if you have to be quick to and from the int. airport, but not if you want to stay longer in Mumbay.

Clean, cheap, convenient airport access ”
I have no complaints. I checked in late at night and checked out early. All I needed was airport pickup, wifi, and a place to sleep and shower. This hotel provided just that. I booked the hotel on Agoda and then arranged the airport pickup via email directly with the hotel. After arriving I had to call the hotel to confirm the pickup. (for such a cheap service I guess the don't want to keep drivers at the airport incase of no shows). I waited about 15 minutes for my driver to show up which was fine. The room was clean and they helped me have a shirt ironed and sent boiled eggs to my room in the morning as I was checking out before breakfast (for a small fee of course.) This hotel is only recommended for the proximity to the airport and the price.

Clean room - hard to find - bad location”
To add context to the review, I am a solo traveller who primarily stayed at cheap accommodation. I was in India for a total of 2 weeks and I visited 7 cities. I didn't care if the hotel was old just if it was clean and that the staff were friendly. Another factor that was important to me was the location, and area, i.e close to major sights or in a dodgy district. This hotel is not in a nice area. It took along time to find it and even my Indian taxi driver said the area wasn't nice. If you only need to stay for a night and won't be leaving the hotel until you leave for the airport then I'd recommend it, if it's longer then that find somewhere else. The actual room was really really nice, I couldn't find fault in it. The staff were fine and organized a taxi to the airport for me.

Proximity to airport international”
Hotel is reasonably priced and with its proximity to International airport, this is a good choice. Room was clean. Included in the room price is free airport transfer. No internet. Had a little incident where I was locked in the room and there was no spare key.....had to throw the key down to the staff so that he could open from the outside...... Otherwise, good choice hotel for transit.

Lovely hotel, very nice staff and excellent food”
Our stay on this hotel was very short, but the staff were really nice. They collected us from the airport and they dropped us at 3am again. Its only a 5 minute drive from the International airport. Room was veeeery nice, clean and modern. We ordered food that they brought to our room and it was delicious!

Just what you need for budget travellers”
Stayed for 5 days, best bargain for the price. Would highly recommend it, room service is also very good. No hidden cost. Has complimentary breakfast too. Not many cab drivers know this place, so have the hotel ph number and address handy. Many decent places around for lunch n dinner. They honor agoda pricing.

Clean and spacious but impossible to find!”
We stayed at Hotel Cosmo as it was near to the airport for our flight home at the end of a 2 week stay in India. After staying in various accommodation over our stay I can say that this hotel would be a good budget choice but I would have been unhappy if it had been full price instead of the half price it was offered at. it was clean and the room was a good size for 2 of us. Finding the hotel is a nightmare, it is down the side of a flyover and has a tiny front entrance. The staff were pleasant on reception, although the bell boys followed us around like wet blankets for what reason I'm not sure all of the time. Our room was in the basement so there were no windows which was a shame. Overall our stay was pleasant i just wouldn't want to stay there for anymore time than we did and we were out most of the day and evening we were there.

A place to sleep ahead of an early morning flight”
We stayed here for a total of seven hours, given our late night arrival from Kochi and early morning departure for Istanbul. The airport pickup, although it required a few back and forth phone calls, was included with the room rate and much appreciated as the hotel is located on the edge of the Mumbai slum area and would have been difficult to find otherwise. The room was basic and small but when you are only here seven hours the important thing is that the room and bathrooms are clean and they were. We also got a transfer to the international terminal (8 min drive) for 300 rupees at 4am. One disappointing aspect was the hotel staff loitered in the room waiting for tips and after asking us if we wanted water to drink came back with a 1.5litre bottle and said that would be 25 rupees. While we don't mind paying for water, being told up front is probably a more ethical way of approaching things. If you want an affordable place to sleep ahead of an early morning flight, this place is a (very) budget option worth considering.
