Breathtaking experience”

My first name staying at a hotel with hot spring in Japan. The staff can't speak English very well but they always carried a smile on their faces and very helpful. Everything is all prepared well and by the time we arrived at our room, a lady come to take our measure to make sure we fit into their bathrobe, and then the welcome tea/snack were immediately served. At the dinner place, I realized that my name was already on the front door of the private dinner room-- a very inviting experience. Dinner was already set up on the table when we step into the room. After dinner the beds were all set in our room and you actually do not have to speak a word and they will prepare everything for you. The only complaint maybe the public bathroom hotspring is showing its age but the openair hotspring is very nice with a view of the ocean.

We strongly recommend this hotel to everybody! Great open-air Onsen (hotspring)which is always not so crowded, very clean and quiet Japanese TATAMI-room, fine Japanese style dinner course. Water, ice candy, coffee, tea was free for anytime. Japanese plum liquor was offered free at night. We could enjoy fishing at the entrance of the hotel and what we fish was cooked for our dinner!!!Especially if you are from outside Japan, you will be surprised by their fine hospitality.

Nice hotel nice people affordable price”

The hotel is nice, the price is good, and it locates in a beautiful island. You need to take a 3 minutes boat ride from the hotel to the town where the railway station is located. However it is quite a distance from Osaka. It takes 4 hours by train or by driving from Osaka.

Amazing location ”

We really enjoyed our stay at this Ryokan. The room exceeded our expectations as it was quite large and every room overlooks the water. It was a relaxing 2 days spent at the pool and in the outdoor hot tubs in the evenings. Be aware that you can only eat in the restaurant if you make a reservation ahead of time. We didn't do this the first night and were therefore scrounging for food. Overall we really enjoyed our time here as it was a very relaxing getaway.

Amazing ”

Only one need to careful ,, if you want to form osaka to here, you need carefully the traffic time because I rent a car, I drove 5 hours to there ,,, very long way .. The hotel is amazing !

excellent, relaxing and unwinding”

it was a 10/10 experience, nothing to fault, the service was good, internet in rooms, spas, and just a great time to unwind and relax and forget ur troubles. the outdoor spa overlooking a beach, wow what a lovely experience, thanks!

Need up date the building.”

The onsen is ok but the hotel is really run down and urgently need updated. Need to have a hotel bar because there are not thing to do at night ! Boring! I wouldn't recom it to my friend and will never come back to this hotel again. Hotel is not full only have 169 guests but they would let me check in early after my very long journey from Koyasan!
