Haven of a Hotel in Boracay”
We were a family of 8 stranded during typhoon Ondette. The place was unexpectedly beautiful, clean, tasteful and safe during the time of adversity and unexpected weather disturbance. The location just gave us the right piece of mind during the super typhoon as it is located in the highland and the Casitas are mare of concrete roofing. Pretty boutique hotel, with very accommodating staffs, good view and superb pool overlooking Boracay sea. The hotel made our extended vacation lovely, with different twist with its location and value for money. One of the least pricey hotel with very good facilities in Boracay. Also it was good help that security deposit was not required during our check-in as we needed to fit in to our already limited budge during that tome. The free shuttle service are just wonderful. Kudos to Hotel Soffia!!

I had a goodnight sleep here! ”
Me and my bestie went here to explore Boracay. It was a speedy decision and had no idea where is the place actually located. the trike kept on going until passing to local residences, we both thought how far the place could be. Until we asked the driver and he said not far long. So he dropped us in a dark alley with not plenty to see but a path way up. He said just follow the road up and up more then he laughed and left. Anyways, we went as directed and reached Hotel Soffia. It was like a garden lit beautifully. The reception staffs are respectful and gave a brief instructions regarding shuttle service times. We went to our room and it was nothing we had expected but definitely a very clean and elegant place to sleep.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was spacious and clean. The pool was my buying point in booking this accommodation and I was not disappointed. Although I did not received a welcome drink when I checked in (12:30 pm), but the good thing was my room was ready so I did not wait until 2pm to check in. The location was really far from the busy stations of Bora but their shuttle service was great. Both drivers (am & pm shift) were accommodating and helpful. Restaurant staffs were always smiling and friendly. AM receptionist was helpful and looks friendly also, but the PM shift receptionist was a bit intimidating maybe he just needs to learn how to smile. I will be back soon!

Thank you Hotel Soffia! You have very polite and courteous staff. Van transfer is free to and from the hotel and beach. Room is clean! And oh what a perfect 360 degree view of the island from our room and the entire hotel. Never got a chance to swim though but your pool is clean and crystal clear. If you're looking for a relaxing and quiet place with a good view. This is perfect for you. The beach front is already too crowded and noisy..this is a perfect spot after a whole day of activities in the beach! Keep it up Hotel Soffia! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Recommended for someone wanting a peace and calm part of Boracay”
Although it is away from the beach, it also serves its purpose: to find serene and relaxation away from the hustle of the main beach. For just less than 1, 000 a night we were able to stay at a hotel with complete amenities. Also, the staffs were nice and very welcoming. The room has everything you need from the dining table, to ref, television, and even a balcony. They also offer free shuttle to and from the beach, so there is really nothing to worry.

A Quiet Place to Stay In”
If you do not want the crowded and noisy Boracay night like me, this is the right place for you. Pros: -Value for money -Scheduled Shuttle Services until 12mn (not sure if they changed it now) - Bathtub - Friendly Staff - Pool Towels - Great view from the Pool - With Refrigerator - With Study/Work Table Cons: - The place is 5-10 mins (I guess) away from Station 2's D'Mall drop off. Though it's a perfect place to spend peaceful nights, if you are having a dinner at a restaurant (every night) and wishes to swim at the beach around 0400PM 'til sunset, you might want to reconsider since you'll end up going back and forth just to take baths in between of your itinerary or just calculate your time wisely instead. And if you're soaking wet and wishes to go back to your hotel, as a courtesy to their van, just ride an e-jeepney. Usually this costs 50 pesos each person. So if you went back to your hotel 3 times in a day while you're soaking wet, that's 150 already. - During our stay, there were plenty of outsiders (kids) who had a pool party so that's something I wish they would address. Based from what I've heard, guests are allowed to invite outsiders and swim. For me, that's a bit off since you stayed their for privacy and not wanting a crowded place as well. - Wifi was terrible during our stay. We had to go near the pool just to connect because there was none in our villa our at least a router dedicated for the villas. Phone signal is also lame in that area. - We had no telephone connecting the lobby in our Villa so we had to walk their steep walkway just to address our concerns

Honest review”
I love how serene the hotel is. The hotel is far from the beach but what’s good about it - is they offer free shuttle rides until 11:00 from the hotel and 11:15 from D’mall. Di mo pwedeng lakarin kasi matarik and malayo talaga. There’s no Bidet. Sira yung shower, didn’t bother telling it to Concierge masaya naman kasi yung overall experience. We plan to stay here again.

Good ac unit... but needs new extra beds and towels... very reasonable food prices with big servings... value for money, cheapest but the best! If you are looking for a quiet place away from the beachfront, then this is the ideal place to stay. I enjoyed swimming in the pool even if it was raining. There are things like the bidet which are not available but the staff are very attentive to the needs of the guests and they are also friendly and accommodating especially Arman. I highly recommend the place. Thank you Hotel Soffia for making our stay like home.

My family stayed at Soffia's for 4D 3N and we really enjoyed our stay. It is located on top of the hill which is an advantage to appreciate the view of the sea. My parents liked the idea that it's away from the noisy and crowded part of Bora. Super attentive and mababait pa ang mga staff nila. 🤍 I will certainly book this place again the next time I visit the island. ❤❤❤

Relaxing place”
To those who want a relaxing and quiet place to stay, book this hotel. Signal (mobile) and wifi are weak but maybe because we're far from the router. The place is superb especially the pool area. No problem for the transportation going to dmall or other establishement, they provide the transpo every 2 hours interval starting 7am to 11pm. Buy all you need before checking in. The place is located quite far from station 1 and 2.

Very accommodating staff”
The hotel staff are accommodating and welcoming. For me, the hotel service is exceptional because of them. Although the place is far from main stations, there is a shuttle/van service every hour for drop off and pick up of guests. The hotel is also located near Puka Beach that's why we were able to enjoy Island hopping via land (e-trike service). Thank you Hotel Soffia.
