Pros: Great value and location. Bathroom is spacious. Staff was very helpful and concise. Cons: Traveled with family during winter, the rooms gets a bit hot and stuffy, the air conditioning is a bit noisy as well. We stayed in deluxe family twin rooms, which feels more like business hotel, definitely doesn't feel 'deluxe'. Cleanliness could be improved. Great hotel if you are staying for business, otherwise get better the rooms or better hotel.
I had to rush to Seoul from the countryside and booked a hotel, and the location and price were great. It was hard to find a combination of a double bed and a single bed, so I was happy to be able to book it at a reasonable price... but gradually, the smell of cigarettes started coming into the room 🤐. When I called the front desk, they said all the air purifiers were out and just sprayed some air freshener... and that was it... They mentioned that if the smell was from another room where a staff member was smoking, there was nothing they could do. They couldn't change my room... I'm disappointed with the hotel's response.
Using the airport limousine bus 6703, you arrive directly across the street, so you can drop off your luggage right away. There is a slight slope in front of the hotel, but personally, I found it acceptable. The front desk staff did not speak Japanese, but they were fine with broken English. I was asked to show the credit card used for payment when I made the reservation. (It might be because I mistakenly used a nickname for the reservation to avoid any confusion?) The staff's attitude towards someone who does not speak the language was also nice. The elevator can be accessed by anyone, so non-staying guests can go up to the guest rooms, which is a bit concerning for security. During my consecutive stay, it seems that there is generally no room cleaning. If you want cleaning, you need to notify the front desk in the morning. I'm not good at Korean or English, so I handed the front desk a memo with my room number and the request for cleaning. Even on days without cleaning, I could request replenishments like water and toilet paper from the front desk, and they delivered it to my room (I asked in the afternoon, and they still brought it). There is an outlet next to the bed, but the connection was not very good. There were about four outlet plugs available (including in the shower room). There was no mirror on the desk. The air conditioning could not be adjusted, and since it was a cold day, it was quite uncomfortable. The remote for the air conditioning and the TV is the same. The toilet can flush paper. It automatically flushed. Since there is no shower curtain, when you squat in the bathtub to wash, it prevents the floor from getting too wet. There were no issues with water pressure or clogs. There are shampoo, conditioner, and body soap provided. We visited Korea for plastic surgery, but it seemed that many of the other guests were here for similar reasons. If you don’t mind the small details, I think it’s a good hotel. I would definitely consider returning.
Good value for the space you get and the design. However, because it is a local franchise so the standards and policies for hotel cleanliness may differ from branch to branch. I stayed in two HTD and really different vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed the bath and space. This particular booking only had one downside, tap flow has low pressure. Gangnam HTD branch has a young tall and handsome receptionist! He is so cute that you cannot stop looking at him.

I traveled alone for a concert at the Jamshil Indoor Stadium. After exiting exit 3 of Sinnonhyeon Station, the hotel is just a short walk down a slightly bumpy slope. It’s very close! I took a limousine bus from Incheon Airport and arrived right in front of the hotel, across the street. It's also about a 10-minute ride to Gangnam Station, making the location very convenient. When checking in, a staff member who spoke a little Japanese assisted me, but it was only very basic Japanese. They only mentioned that I needed to express my cleaning wishes by the morning, so I think that’s not a problem. When I left the hotel in the morning, I wrote in Korean what I wanted done, such as replenishing the water (I received two bottles daily), changing towels, and taking out the trash (translated with Papago, haha), and submitted it to the front desk. My room was a deluxe double with a city view on the 14th floor, and I didn't feel any darkness. It was spacious and clean, with a comfortable and roomy bed. As for the rumored bathroom, there really was no shower curtain, which made the area in front of the sink quite wet, so from the second day onward, I devised a technique of sitting in the bathtub to wash myself, which worked out okay with just a little getting wet. The bathtub is unnecessarily large, so it took time to fill it with water, but I was able to relax very comfortably. I saw reviews mentioning issues with drainage leading to water flooding, but that was not the case in my room; the bathroom was clean and mold-free. If I had to point out one thing, the base of the hairdryer cord was slightly exposed, raising concerns about it potentially breaking. (I used it without problems for four days, though.) I only saw one construction worker outside; I didn't encounter anyone within the hotel, so the atmosphere was always calm, which I appreciated. Even after checking out, my luggage was stored, and my pickup was around 10:30 PM, but there was staff at the front desk, and I was able to finish my trip without any issues.
