Very nice staying”
I booked just one night in a single room but I can tell is a nice place. Perfect to visit the two famous shrines in and nearby Ise-shi, is very near two train stations and the aforementioned cultural area. Also the town is little but kind of nice. The guest house is a cozy and warm place, full of atmosphere especially evening time. Essential but nice room with tatami and futon, slept well. Shower and toilet ok (they even have Toto!) Large kitchen with free coffee and tea. Last but not least everyone is friendly and easy going. Would return there again.

Home away from home”
Kazami staffs are awesome. They treat you like your family. I had nice time using there full kitchen. Close to JR station which is great, you don't want to miss the train. Definitely will stay here again if I'm on the area.

Exceptional”
Beautiful wooden structure with very helpful staff to greet us. It is located within walking distance to the Ise outer shrine, Iseshi station, and restaurants/convenience marts. We had a spacious room with futon which was spotlessly clean (as were the shared toilets and showers). The kitchen was also well-equipped. We were allowed to leave our luggage after check-out the next day for a few hours. The only negative is that the walls are very thin. Our room was located right next to the kitchen and could hear anyone who was there. Some guests woke us up at 3am washing dishes so I recommend to implement some rules for the kitchen after a certain hour. We did not have a good night’s sleep even though the futons were comfortable.

enjoyed good weekend here, 5 mins from station, nice stuff can speak English as well, feel cozy, nice guest house. but floor is wood-made, so you have to very carefully to walk, because it makes noisy.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The building itself seemed a little old but nicely decorated. Everything was quite clean. Nice location near the station. The only problem we had was the shampoo. Went to a bath house the second night cos we couldn't cope with it.

Nice Hostel ”
Very good location, just 3 mins walk from Ise Shi Station. Staff are super friendly, they will bring you to your room and introduce the facilities when you check in. And the design of the hostel is very nice, all furniture are made by wood. Design is very beautiful. Highly recommend to all when you travel Ise. I must stay in here again when I travel Ise next time.

Friendly atmosphere. ”
(+) Good value and convenient location. Clean and atmospheric building with friendly staff. (-) Very very noisy at night due to open floor plan, wooden floor boards, wooden stairs, sliding curtains and doors, thin walls, squeaky bunk beds, wooden lockers, and large numbers of young tourists talking/packing/unpacking/moving around at any and all hours. After the first night here I chatted to the staff about the need for informing customers more clearly of the "hostel spirit" of considering other guests' comfort. I also changed to a private room (at extra charge) to escape the noisy shared dorm, but was still woken at 2.30am by the excited talking of young guests from the next room. Overall I would say that if continual night noise doesn't bother you then this is a great place to stay.

Bring your own padlock.”
This hostel is very easy to be located. It's just 3 mins walk away from the Ise-shi station. It's also near one of the famous shrines in Ise. However, the town is relatively small so there aren't much you can see or eat at night. The staff are very friendly. They speak English very well. You can ask them for things to do in Mie and they will be glad to help. Others travellers who stay at this hostel are also super nice and they're mostly Japanese. I spent 2 night here staying in the dorm. What could have been better is the soundproofing. The floors, stairs and beds are all wooden-made so you will always hear noises when someone is walking or even just rolling over in bed. Light sleeps may need ear plugs. In addition, it's very dark inside the room that I could hardly pack things at night. My biggest concern was that all keys are all able to open every lock on the lockers, which means that you can open someone else's locker by your key and they can easily open yours by their keys. You might want to bring your own padlocks.

It’s near the station and the geku, and there are many restaurants nearby. The staff are all friendly, and you can listen to one of the staff play European drums or ukulele. You can feel cozy and relax in the hotel. The bread tastes great too!
