“An excellent choice for a family vacation!”
This was our first trip to Phuket, and our initial thought was to ensure that the two adults and two children could get enough rest. It would be best if the hotel had plenty of entertainment options and various dining choices. The Marriott hotel is undoubtedly one of the best choices for family travel, with a very high staff-to-guest ratio. Whether it's at the children's play area, the various pools, or the different restaurants, there are ample staff members providing warm, friendly, and professional service. Special praise goes to the restaurant staff next to the children's playground, the enthusiastic and lively server in the breakfast area, and the front desk staff, who made us feel like we could chat as friends. The best feature of this hotel is its child-friendly environment. Unlike many trendy, cool hotels, while its facilities may not be the most advanced and can be somewhat old-fashioned, they are very well-maintained, easy to use, and highly clean. No matter where the children play, they are treated kindly. Every night, they even delivered thoughtful little snacks and sea turtle-themed gifts for the kids. These details are a tremendous comfort for family travelers! The sea turtle rescue station is also worth experiencing. The turtles here have congenital defects and receive excellent care. I strongly recommend that you not only feed the turtles with your kids but also talk to the caretakers to learn about the crisis that climate change brings to the ocean and marine life. We watched the founder's promotional video several times in the hotel room, and I was especially impressed by his appreciation for family life and love for nature! The hotel's location is very close to the airport and far from the bustling city center, with its own private beach, making it a perfect choice for a getaway from the hustle and bustle! Moreover, there are convenience stores and various types of restaurants around the Marriott, as well as seaside seafood stalls, so even if you don't want to have a high dining budget, you can enjoy the most typical food of Phuket. The hotel's lounge deserves praise too, allowing guests to relax with a drink, take a little nap, and enjoy live band performances in the evening or play billiards with family. If you catch the fire dance performance at sunset, it will give you a deeper understanding of Phuket's ocean culture. I am very glad we chose the right hotel and had an unforgettable 3 days.
