Location : Very Convenient and Easy Access from few great culinary spots like Pecel, Supermarket, Cafes, Gift Shops, and Reflexology. Receptionists are very welcome and nice to help us as group of 8 people. And Hotel room clean enough for us.

The greatest upside of this guest house is the location. Its close proximity to many cool cafes, supermarkets, and restaurants makes it a desirable place to stay. The room cleanliness, however, could be better as it could be a little dusty. The neighbor's dog and some mosquitoes in your room may disturb your sleep, especially if you're a light sleeper. All in all, my family and I find this place decent because of its location, but if you care about comfort, cleanliness, and facilities, then I suggest checking out other places.

Best Guest House in Malang so Far”
For a guest house, I haven't experienced one better than Kertanegara yet. Value for money, beautiful room, decent breakfast (at least it was warm). Premium location in the middle of the city. Ask for room located far from the street, because the street in front of the guest house is very busy and noisy. We had room 310. I think it might be their best room. It has big window, quiet, and as a bonus, there was a lot of bird chirping sound in the morning (you will find out ). The service was great. They did not mind lend us their plates, spoons, etc for our dinner that we bought from outside the hotel. (unlike one of the famous but old resort in Batu). They did not mind deliver our tea to 3rd floor. Oh, we got free tea and cake for tea time). All of their staff were full of smile. We tried their cafe, not so good. Hopefully they will improve so that we don't have to find another place to enjoy nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate. We will surely back again. Hard to find a better place to stay in Malang than Kertanegara Guest House.

Many thanks to all staff for making my trip in Malang wonderful. Kertanegara Premium Guest House having an excellent customer services. Their staff very polite and lovely. They able to help us via email if you want to ask for something before your arrived at Malang. Beside that, they also can arrange ground package with affordable price. The best way, if you from Surabaya just use train to Malang. At Malang take blue van or taxi go to hotel. Distance form Malang Station to guest house around rp.30,000 by taxi. The room was very nice and classic concept. Actually it more to hotel not guest house. I was lovely and enjoyed. Thank you to all staff for their hard work and being so friendly and helpful.

It was our first stay in Malang city during our trip to Bromo. I like to stay at Kertanegara Premium Guest House because they have friendly staffs, the price was really affordable, the room was very big and clean. Only one weak point: the water in the bathroom takes a bit longer before the hot water coming out. Overall, it's still a very good choice to stay.

Great Hotel, Helpful staff, Clean and comfort Room”
I had a great holiday for stay 4 days in Malang, and choice Kertahegara Premiun Guest House, with my family. I booked 3 rooms, and even they are fully booked, we had in the same floor and i think they are up grade one of my room. Next time if i am back to Malang, i will spent the night at Kertanegara again. I will tell to all my friend and colleagues who wants to go to Malang too. Thank you for your hospitality.

Guest House with 4-Star Hotel Experience”
We stayed in Kertanegara for 3 nights with unexpected experience - in a good way :) This place is more like a hotel than a guest house. It has been our first thought while arriving in the hotel. Located in the center of Malang with a lot of restaurants within walking distance. There is also street market in front of the hotel every Sunday. The hotel is very clean and comfortable.The staff is also helpful. However, the air conditioner were too cold because it is not properly placed (right on the bed). Overall, value for money. Highly recommended!

we came with the family of 4 daughters. as we came by car from surabaya, we have to find the location and according to the map, the location is closed to jl ijen which is famous for malang. so i just find jl ijen and woops....., the hotel is just in the corner of jl ijen and semeru! it is a nice and strategic location with a walking distance to the shopping mall (quite big and new in malang). the hotel it self was nice and gave us a first good positive impression. the receptionist, the team member such as concierge, bell boy, resto etc. as we are waiting for the room which was in the check in process, my family were already sitting in the cafe enjoying the afternoon coffee and tea with a good 'malang spiku' and chocolate cake....which surely very beloved by my daughters and the mom. the room was clean, equipped with lcd tv on satellite channel. but we can not get the wifi network in the room. i have to go outside the room or in the lobby area to get the connection. we enjoyed our stay and trip to malang and will recommend my friends who will come to malang in the short time.

My family really enjoyed our stay at Kertanegara Premium Guest House, as it was located in central Malang, easy to reach food dining/restaurants area and other attraction location. The rooms are large with comfortable beds, the staff are friendly, and there was high-speed wifi at public area (though we preferred to get high-speed wifi at our room as well).
