Fantastic Staff ”
I returned to Koh Jum Resort for the fourth time, it's always a pleasure to visit. This time I suffered a bad injury on a motorbike and I can't praise the hotel manager, Mr Supachot, enough. Within 15 minutes of me arriving at the medical centre he was there asking about my welfare. He waited until I was treated and took me back to the resort, every day he provided me with transport to and from the clinic and nothing was too much trouble for him. He even negotiated a fair repairs price with the rental company and got my bill reduced. When you are a long way from home and in a vulnerable situation it's really comforting to know there's someone you can rely on who will look after you. All the staff under Mr Supachots guidance are excellent and have very happy and willing approach to all the hotel guests. The food is all cooked on site and is delicious . The beach is as beautiful as you will find anywhere in the world and the whole resort has a unique boutique feel about it. I have no hesitation in recommending Koh Jum Resort to anyone....i just hope the owners appreciate the fantastic staff and manager there ! Can't wait to return

Stunning sunsets and beautiful people in Koh Jum”
We stayed in Koh Jum Resort Krabi for 20 days in November and we enjoyed it so much. Starting from the island, if you are looking for a place where to relax, far from the nightlife, parties and busy beaches, this is the place. Be aware that is simply a place that has beautiful nature, stunning sunsets and marvelous local people ready to help you and easy going. We enjoyed the one day trips to Phi-phi, Bamboo island, a day trip by boat around Koh Jum and to Railay and Chicken island. The restaurant was very nice and has a selection of nice Thai food, international and fresh seafood.

Rustic rather than anything else”
Good: beach side location, quaint rustic grass roofs chalets in a jungly setting. Ok pool but small. Staff very smiley and pleasant. Great massage lady called NUI. Breakfast quite good. Not good, many treacherous stone steps with no hand rails, very steep and studded with stones which are a trip hazard. Pool dated with several tiles missing and sharp edges everywhere. Food hit and miss. Beach has many rocks so swimming at any time other than high tide is impossible without shoes on. I cut my foot The track to the resort is a dirt track, muddy, rutted and very dangerous especially in the dark. This leaves you trapped in hotel effectively unless you want to pay £7.50 each way for a taxi to the village which is about 5km. We had the best room they had but there was rubbish strewn about everywhere. So not worth the money, oh and not a comfortable chair to be found anywhere until we complained and were given two out of reception. No pads £100 for a boat trip to Koh Phi Phi 3 miles away!

In a separate island!!”
The hotel is not accessible by direct way or even a ferry, you have to book a private boat to reach there, which will cost you even more than the stay, the hotel do not provide ferrys to reach there its a separate island and the staff were also not helpful at all

Isolated Relaxing Paradise”
The Koh Jum resort is gorgeous, located on a hill leading down to the beach. It was great for a three night stay with my girlfriend. We went in early May, and the weather was very nice. Most of the other resorts in the area were closed due to it being the offseason, so it was very quiet and remote. The hotel itself was difficult to get to. We arranged for the hotel to pick us up from the airport, which I would definitely recommend, although it costs about $100 per group. Once on the island, there is not a whole lot to do. The resort restaurant had very good food, which was good because there was not anywhere else to go. The pool was small but pretty nice. The beach on Koh Jum is not the greatest, it is pretty rocky which prevents much swimming in the ocean. Also, at high tide there is no real beach. One of our concerns going in was that there was no A/C. However, it cooled down at night and there were several fans that kept it comfortable. It is also listed as not having any hot water, but our room had a hot water heater for the shower which was nice. Overall, this was a great place to go for three nights as a couple. Very relaxing, but not a lot to do. Children could easily get bored without paying extra to do day trips.

Fantastic!”
We absolutely loved our three night stay at the Koh Jum Resort. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the setting is magnificent. Each evening we sat out on the balcony of our bamboo cottage overlooking the sea watching the sunset in front of us. The dining area is spectacular, right over the water. The island is quiet and simple. We rented scooters and toured around, finding lovely beaches. The beach at Koh Jum Resort is not the best, but we would definitely stay there again. Annie at the front desk is a true gem and always went out of her way to help and advise any guest. We loved having a very nice swimming pool to hop into after being in the sea. On our last night we were treated to an evening with a group of returning guests (their third or fourth visit). The staff showed their appreciation by inviting us all to a lovely after dinner party at the charming little bar overlooking the beach. We felt privileged to be part of it..........it felt like family.

Great retreat from the crowds of South Thailand”
I loved my time at the Koh Jum Resort. I spent 5 days in the peace there. It is very remote and there really isn't much to do but walk up and down the beach, hike, eat or sleep. It is right on the coast and the hotel Longtail must come to get you from the ferry boat since there is no dock. This can be very scary and a bit dangerous so please caution and carry light luggage. I stayed in a bamboo bungalow with an ocean view (most of the bamboo's do) and it was luxurious but rustic at the same time. The bed was super comfortable (rare in Thailand), the sheets were thick and soft and it had a romantic, but very necessary mosquito net. (Bring lots of insect repellant) The bathroom was great to with a western toilet and a shower but with no hot water. There is a nice fan in the room and electricity (no TV). If you have the money, I would recommend booking a Teak Bungalow as they are gorgeous and the floors are solid and flat unlike the bamboo bungalows which are made out of bamboo rods. I was very relaxed when I left Koh Jum and I look forward to being able to go back again sometime. This would be an amazing honeymoon retreat. Did I mention that the staff is amazing? They are so great, I was really sad to leave them.

Beautiful, secluded resort and friendly service”
We had a fantastic week at Koh Jum resort. Travelling with our 3yr old and 4 month old daughters, the Koh Jum resort team were great with the kids. The beach is extremely quiet and safe, clean, with great water for swimming and kayaking. Food is limited to the resort restaurant but they have all the Thai favouristes and some good western food too. We were happy just on the beach, by the pool, and cooling off in the villa in the heat of the day, but there are plenty of trips on offer if you want to get out and about. We stayed in the Teakwood villa which was beautiful, spacious, and had a good balcony which meant we could sit outside and have our dinner there while the kids were asleep inside. For us, a perfect holiday and we'll be back for sure.

Call a place Paradise and Kiss it Goodbye”
It was the Best ! IO called them and they arranged the transport (car - boat - car) to the Resort and for a very reasonable price. Our bungalows were fantastic. My daughter thought they got the Wedding suite and wanted to change with us but our was even better! The place is fantastic, the Beach, the surroundings (Jungle) but me and my daughter took a trip with the cajak and that was great The staff is Great, the manager is Great and the food is Even Better ! We were 5 people, 3 adults and 2 children that had a Great Time ! Thanks Koh Jum Resort ! (and we have the last 13 years been to more than 20 different places/resorts around the islands in Andaman Sea)

Heaven on earth!!!”
From the second we arrived we felt like we were in paradise. Koh Jum is a secluded resort on a small stretch of sand on a very small island. This is the place to go to relax and spoil yourself. The resort is stunning with large rooms and a beautiful bathroom. Everything overlooks Phi Phi island in the far distance. The sunset from the infinity pool is beautiful. The staff are just the most amazing, friendly people and so flexible to arrange tours to other islands, day trips to the tiny island market, scooter rentals and much more. The food was wonderful and very affordable. The rooms are a bit pricier than most thailand resorts, but the secluded feeling and the setting is worth every cent. I will go back in a heart beat and recommend this to anyone!

Best Yet!”
We truely enjoyed our stay at Koh Jum Resort and Koh Jum Island. The facility and staff exceeded our expectations. We dream of going back one day. The only downside is that the food and drink at the resort is a bit more expensive than other places on the island. We highly recommend a walk down the beach to the "Last Fisher" for cocktails and food for sunset.

Great stay, lovely pool”
We really enjoyed our stay at Koh Jum resort. The rooms all overlook the beach and have a stunning view across to Ko Phi-Phi. We chose Koh Jum Resort because it had a pool and a lot of the other places on the island don't. It was a lovely temperature, again with stunning views and although not huge it wasn't too busy. We had the cheapest bungalows which were fairly rustic but reasonably comfortable, the only thing that bothered me was something chewing at the roof in the night, not sure if it was a bird or mouse, we did find some droppings so possibly the latter but then you are up in the jungle. The food was quite good although perhaps a bit pricey. We got a taxi down to Koh Jum village and had some great meals there. The final mention has to go to reception who really makes the place, she has a massive smile and was very helpful, even slathering Aloe Vera on my back and shoulders when I got sunburn!

Chilled out escape”
if whatl you want is to switch off and chill out this is the place for you. We loved the place. Staff were very friendly and food was fantastic. Ok so the pool is small...so what?.. you have a huge beach crystal clear water and a view to die for...monkeys on the roof,. 3 foot lizards saying hello and butterflies the size of ur hands. If you can handle the odd mosquito and cockroach.. (it is right in a tropical jungle after all) then enjoy. We will definitely go back. Thanks Koh Jum!!
