Great location, friendly staff, ice cold a/c”
I chose to book this hotel a month before my visit to Ho Chi Minh city, and I am so glad I did! The location is perfect and literally just a minute or two walk from where all the buses stop in the center of the city. I arrived from Cambodia and purchased an open return ticket with Sorya at a discounted price, and it was such an easy and cheap way to travel. The staff at this guesthouse are also incredibly friendly and helpful. They will help you to get around the city and they can also arrange for any types of day trip tours to sites. The breakfast is not included, but at $1, it is a decent amount of food if you need to start your day off very early -- eggs, bread, fruit, and coffee/tea. The room itself was very cozy, and the a/c was super cold. The water was super hot for the showers, and the bed was very comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay here and would stay again if i visit another time.

Best backpacker hostel ever”
After staying in a few places in Ho Chi Minh city, I walked into My My Arthouse and instantly felt relaxed and at home. Mr T has obviously spent a lot of time considering what her guests need and want. There is a very friendly atmosphere between everyone which i think has a lot to do with everyone feeling so at home. Mr T is very helpful and I challenge you to have a question he doesn't know the answer too. Can't recommend it enough.

Brilliant, friendly staff, fantastic room”
The staff were extremely friendly, just what we needed since Ho Chi Minh City was the first stop of our trip. The location was near to many great places to eat. The room was comfortable and large and clean. I would certainly choose My My Arthouse the next time I come to Vietnam!

Great stay the staff were lovely offering advice and tips on good places to go in hoh chi minh city, good size clean room, the hotel is up a small side street so abit quieter as yor off the main road. Id reccomend this hotel to anyone on a budget who wants to be in the heart of things, great bars an restaurants 2 mins walk away.

Clean, comfortable rooms”
It was a pleasant stay. The hostel is close to the shopping district and accessible to all means of transport and just a short ride from the airport. The rooms, which are painted white, are clean and comfortable. The owner can speak English so we didn't have a hard time speaking with him especially since we arrived there earlier than our booking date and had to negotiate with him regarding our booking. We booked with the hostel for Cu Chi Tunnel Tour and since we were already tired and needed to freshen up and rest, we forgot to demand for our bus tickets. So on the day of the tour, we were not able to present our tickets when required and were thus told to get off the bus and ride the other bus. However, since we could not find said other bus, there was an arrangement made whereby we were told to ride a taxi all the way to Cu Chi Tunnel. While it was a bit disappointing at first, it turned out to be a blessing in disguise because we were pressed for time and we were able to get to the Cu Chi tunnel location and leave the same to return to the city ahead of the tour bus. Thus, we were still able to make a short tour of the city and do some shopping before we checked out and went to the airport for our flight.

do not book trips in this hotel”
the hostel is fine, but do not book trips or buses in this hostel. the travel agency doing business with this hostel is bad. we booked a one-day mekong delta tour, during the tour we met three tourists traveling with us who actually booked a two-day tour but the travel agency put them to a one-day tour and refused to transfer them unless they would like to pay more. we booked a night bus from saigon to siem reap which usually takes 12-15 hours but it actually took 19 hours to arrive, which is a long painful journey. so do not book anything here.

Excellent stay in this lovely guesthouse in the centre of Saigon! Super friendly and helping staff! Very quiet area just a stone throw from the busiest barrows! I'll definitely return there during my next visit to HCMC!

Lovely stay!”
We enjoyed our stay here. After arriving, there was some confusion about our reservation, but it was settled eventually and we were given a triple room instead of a double for the same price. The location, down a quiet alley in the backpacking district, was great! We had a late flight the next day, and were able to pay a couple extra dollars that day to be able to stay in the room until 5pm. The only thing that turned me off was that the bathroom in the room did not have a door, just a curtain, separating it from the bedroom.

Friendly Staff, Relatively Good Command of English”
I took bus No. 152 (5.000 VND) from the airport to Pham Ngu Lao Street (stops operating after 1800 hours). The bus stops at the east end of the Pham Ngu Lao area (at the bus terminal on the southwest side of the Ben Thanh Market roundabout). Hotel location was relatively easy to find, just follow the numerical order and turn into a small alley at No. 219. Mr. Kim, the person-in-charge during my stay, is a friendly guy and very helpful at giving tour information. His command of the English language was relatively good and I had no diffuclty communicating. The tour packages offered by the hotel were cheaper than those tour outlets operating outside.

We stay at this hostel for 2 nights, we really enjoy our stay. The staff are friendly and help you to plan trips and arrange visa with cheaper costs than onlines and other travel agencies around. We highly recommend this hotel to all travellers on our next journeys. We feel lucky that we chose this hotel for our stay. Everything is very handy when you stay at this hotel, staff there are happy to answer all your questions with their wide knowledge.

Large clean room, rather abrupt staff”
We were greeted at MyMy Arthouse by the owner saying, rather abruptly, "take your shoes off". Not even a hello. It wasn't very welcoming and we were tired after a long journey from Sihanoukville. We did not have a good first impression. Our room was massive though. We were given a room with three double beds! We were happy with that. We were also very happy with the location of the hotel. The bus from Cambodia stopped right outside the alley leading to the hotel, which is along a very busy and popular road full of travel agencies and places to eat. We used one of these travel agencies to book our onward travel. The owner of the hotel seemed rather annoyed by us doing this rather than booking with him but, as I explained to him when he questioned it, we could not communicate with any of the other staff there and in his absence we had to go elsewhere to book.

Small hotel with very helpfull staff”
The room we stayed in was clean but very small. But thats why it's a budget hotel. The staff is very helpfull and can help out with almost anything. Breakfast is not included, but for $1 you can get a very decent meal to get the day started. Location is excelent. Near all the shops and sites, but situated in a small alley so you do have some quiet time for all the traffic.

Nice ”
Only stayed a few hours because we needed somewhere to stay while we were waiting for our bus but overall, for the price it was t bad. The AC was very nice and there was also a fan so the room got super cold. Water was hot and they provided toothbrushes, soap and shampoo/conditioner. The place is very easy to find and it’s in a super quiet alleyway/road which I liked. Just outside of the alley is backpacker street and tons of restaurants/bars and clubs.

A great budget option in HCMC”
We stayed at My My Arthouse for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This hostel is locatd near many restaurants and markets and within walking distance of many points of interest in HCMH. The staff were also very helpful, giving us information and tips for travelling around the city and helping us book both a tour and transportation to Siem Reap.

Exceptional”
In a nice quiet side alley which is important as the general area is very congested. Owners are a mixed Vietnamese/euro couple so great English language ability. They were very helpful and welcoming. They also arranged a grab car to the airport for me so didnt have to deal with taxi drivers.

not only it is super clean and modern, there is free broadband internet and plenty of computers at lounge to use which is so convenient for planning the rest of your travels. they also have good and cheap breakfast for 1 usd per person and laundry facilities at the same cost as well 1usd/1kg

Convenient, clean and helpful staff”
Stayed 2 nights when we first arrived in Vietnam, then stayed one more night when we left Vietnam. Nice location in the backpacker zone without being too close to the party streets. Booked 2 tours through the hostel which were both very good and for a good price. Basic breakfast for a dollar. A little difficult to meet other travellers though as the social area is more of a reception. Good hostel though.
