Perfect escape to enjoy beautiful scenery”
Although my group of 4 people arrived quite late in the evening (around 10PM), we are warmly welcomed by Manee Dheva staffs. Normally hotel restaurant is close around 9PM, Manee Dheva still waited for our arrival and provided us with the good northern style of Thai cuisines. My Chinese business partners really enjoy their fine dinner. The room is perfect. My villa single bed room is awesome, big, clean with kind of "relaxing Spa" decoration. I really enjoy my morning view of mountain and rice field. Last but not least, Manee Dheva staffs are really really nice and kind. I really recommend this resort. I really enjoy their Chinese trading partners fine dinner, good northern Thai cuisine style. The room was perfect. My single bed room villa is terrible, very big, very clean ... very beautiful. I really enjoyed my morning view of the mountains and rice fields. Manee Dheva The staff is really nice and kind. I really recommend this hotel. Good service Good food Good scenery

A Delightful Escape”
After spending 2 days in Chiang Rai we wanted to get more out into the surrounding countryside and the Manee Dheva was the perfect place for us! It is located about 45 minutes outside of Chiang Rai and this resort provides transport to their place. The owner, Francis was very helpful with emails to help us coordinate our tours and how we'd get to and from this resort since we didn't have a car. We absolutely loved the location out in nature with the rice fields and mountains in the background. The individual villas were clean and spacious and you really felt a sense of peace out in nature at this resort. We especially enjoyed visiting the Golden Horse Monastery that was about 20 minutes away and heading up into the hills of Doi Mae Salong. We stayed here 2 nights and could have stayed longer as it was truly a relaxing and beautiful resort!

Villa in rice fields”
We stayed 1 night at Manee Dheva Resort & Spa. A nice hotel in rice fields with beautiful view on Mae Salong mountain site. The villa is very confortable with "French bed" and glass walls in the bath room. Relaxing on balcony with amazing 360° view. Perfect for nature lover. The hotel restaurant is great. Delicious Thai foods. Eat your breakfast on your villa balcony!

Fantastic stay, wish could just live there!”
amazingly stay indeed. great balinese/thai bungalow, super high ceiling plus a grand balcony. the endless padi field is definitely a best spot of this resort. i have been traveled 4 continentals and 95 major cities over the world, i would say this unique experience will be included onto my top 5 ranking. we stayed at the deluxe linked-suites, not kidding-our opened shower place as big as a squash court. the hot tab right at the centre of the shower room, trees, essential oil, dim lights, clean moon, meditation melodies are serving you a best experience. our room, i am not a architect, but i assume this bungalow might as high as a three floors apartment. clean cut windows with wooden frame, super huge curtain and a spacious living area. now i am sitting in my office in the heart of kl, but my mind still with the smell of morning dew and mild fog over the night. it was first time of my life listen to the melodies composed by natural creatures, allowed my mind blow by the april breeze. francis, the md of manee dheva, a great helpful french handsome man made our trip complete. the only 9 bungalow, the authentic dinner and 5 cats plus white land owner - a native white dog always walk with you but keeping a distance, it made our trip unforgettable and memorable. it's first time i found time is never enough for the stays, and we wish we could shorten our sleeping time then could maximize our time with this resort, sounds foolish but you may experience this once you be there yourself. if i were you, i will not hesitate book this hotel right now before it revised the price. it's new, it's grand, it's peaceful, it's a place that recall your childhood dreams and spend your great life with your love ones.

Wow!”
Built on a boardwalk literally hovering over their own rice fields, you could not ask for a more beautiful landscape to wake up to. The staff went above and beyond for us including transfer, going to the bus station and buying our tickets for us while we lazed away, extended our stay until 3pm so we wouldn't have to leave, constant attention to any concern, transport around the property, and served us a 5-star meal including vegetables and rice grown on property. We don't go cheap when we travel outside the states and the Manee Dheva is top 3 most memorable places I have ever stayed. I will return to Chiang Rai just to spend another or two enjoying this paradise!

A real gem”
I stayed two nights here but I could have easily stayed 1 week exploring the surrounding villages. The Chiang Rai area does not feel overrun with tourists like Bangkook/Phuket. Just leave yourself enough time to explore the mountain villages as the roads are winding. Mae Salong is the nearest village less than 1 hour from the resort. The owner is French and he has created a beautiful resort situated within a rice field. At sunset, the views out into the rice fields are stunning. The only thing to be aware is that the bathroom is in an open air but private area next to the room. Chiang Rai can be quite cool at night during the winter season so you might not be comfortable showering at night. The restaurant serves many northern dishes you will not find in other parts of Thailand. I had an excellent banana bud salad. All in all, a great place to relax, unwind and explore.

what a lovely place !!!”
If Paradise exists on Earth, I think it's at Manee Dheva !!! The hotel is human size, the decoration is very smart, the staff very kind. The landscape all around is beautiful, and the rice plantations are very surprising. Concerning the meals, the photos speak about themselves ! We hope that we can return very soon to Manee Dheva, but unfortunatly, it's far from home ...

I had a wonderful time at Manee Dheva. This can surrounding with a rice field, small river and view of a mountain. According to design of each house which concern in an individual space.Good energy and help me have a real relaxing timing. Manager was very caring person and staff did a very good job. Everything is great only 2 things are 1. internet connection poor. 2.My room, Chiang Dao if you would like to sit and watch TV at sofa, the mosquito net hide that TV.

Spectacular Setting”
Manee Dheva ticked all the right boxes for me. Spectacular location affording amazing views, very friendly staff, large beautifully designed luxury bungalows, and did I mention the views? Set in a valley amongst mountains and rice paddies, it's almost too idyllic. Recommended for couples and groups of friends.

Wow!”
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Manee Dheva. Taking a hot bath while looking out at the beautiful rice fields was an extra bonus! The owner was very nice and accomodating also. We also enjoyed the food; especially the homemade ice cream made from the passionfruit growing on the property! We will stay there again in the future.

Spectacular natural setting”
This is a wonderful place to stay for a couple or a group of adults looking to "get away from it all." The setting in the middle of a working rice paddy surrounded by hills is truly spectacular. Francis, the co-owner and host is very friendly and helpful. The staff are similarly attentive but unobtrusive. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and ample hot water, which are often missing in these types of resorts. Because of the relatively remote location, it would not be suitable for those not with their own transportation (either hired driver or driving oneself) unless you don't plan to leave the hotel, which would be a shame because of all of the amazing, out of the way, places within striking distance. For the same reason, this would not be a good choice for those wishing to spend a lot of time in the city of Chiang Rai. The only other caveat would be for those with small children, since the open design includes potentially dangerous drop-offs

Stillness in the Rice Paddies”
We just loved Manee Dheva, it is such a special hideaway. Wonderful base to visit the many wonderful attractions in the area and yet far away from the tourists! Highly Recommended .

a very beautiful boutique hotel”
An excellent small boutique hotel - the owner/manager went out of his way to be helpful and make his guests feel at home. For example, I didn't have a good map of Chiang Rai province, so he gave me his own map. Wonderful views throughout the property, very nice design - everything in place for a relaxing stay in the middle of rice fields and along a river. It is about 30min away from Chiang Rai town, but a good location to explore the area.

New Resort for a relaxing stay near Chiang Rai”
first impression is stunning as buidlings are standing in the middle of paddy fields surrounded by the mountains. just 30 min drive from the airport and i was in such a quiet place. i could visit the chinese village on doi mae salong for the chinese new year festival as the hotel provided a tour. the resort is very new, but provides already a very professional and friendly service. my villa offered a very nice view on the river and the fields, and the high quality bedding with the quiet atmosphere made my short stay very relaxing. i could not try all the dishes proposed on the menu, but the food i choose was excellent and served with a smile. definitely a nice place i recommend !

A real Gem”
The place is owned and designed by a French man and his continental touches mixed with Thai design make this place truly magnificent!! We couldn't get enough of the serenity of the location, the comfort and space of the villas as well as the beautiful views over the rice fields. I have marked that it was incredible value for money thanks to the Agoda deal. If we had to pay the full price, I would have said that it was too expensive as the breakfast was a let down, the food menu at the restaurant was very limited and not exciting. Furthermore quite a few items on the menu were 'sold out'. We were more or less the only ones there (which was super lovely) so we were surprised that things as simple as spring rolls could be sold out. The staff was absolutely lovely though. The only other thing I would mention is, although it was amazing to have a 'kitchen area' as we ended up buying our own food and the fridge was big enough to keep all of our four days shopping, it is weird that there is no sink in that kitchenette and a shame that the roof isn't closed as we had TONES of geckos every evening. We love geckos but as people living in the tropic will know, they do the most awfully smelly poos and pees and our suitcases and other ingredients stank and had to be thoroughly disinfected. Except from that this is a must visit and must stay hotel.

Nice oasis in the Thai countryside”
Impeccable villas in a lovely setting. The facilities and service are excellent. The only caveat is location. The resort is not really near anything. You are in a villa, in the middle of a rice paddy, in the middle of a relatively isolated valley. Which is exactly what we were looking for. Travelers (especially travelers without a car) looking for a base to explore the area might find the resort a tad isolated. It is a convenient way station when traveling through the Northern Thailand countryside by car and is perfect for those looking for some peace, nature, and idyllic relaxation. Our villa had twin beds so if you are traveling as a couple, you may want to check with reception (or your travel agent) when making a reservation to verify the sleeping arrangements. Bungalows are gorgeous.
