Near Everything, value for the money”
This was probably the hotel with the best location in Sagada. Best part was how near it was from where the bus drops off and picks up passengers. It was likewise near the restaurants and the church. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was good. No regrets whatsoever. Will stay here again should I re-visit Sagada in the future.

This is a simple lodge don't expect a full service hotel. But they serve an awesome country breakfast, and the place is very clean and nicely decorated with furnishings and masferre photos. The staff are very friendly and work super hard to please.

This is a friendly family run lodge in the middle of town. It's not luxury, but from a short survey looks to be about the best in town. Rooms are adequate with balconies. great public areas with georgeous Masferre prints on the walls. Full country breakfast including special breads fresh fruit, big surprise for such a budget accomadation. Dining was also ok, with big wine selection! The family works very hard and have a nice lodge. Hint: Pay the tourist fee (35PHP) at the tourist office immediately on arrival and plan tours for the next day .

Nice and central place to stay”
Very close to the Market and bus station which is convienient, clean room, hot shower, nice balcony, friendly staff and good restaurant. The wifi didn't work the first day we came but the staff did find a creative solution with a private router. Good Laundry service. On our last day we were suppose to take the 5am bus and asked the staff to prepare the breakfast to go. We also reminded them several times but when we were prepering to leave we saw that they had forgotten to do so. It was disappointing but to their credit they did refund us for the breakfast. Overall its a good place to stay in Sagada. Nice atmosphere and nice food.

Off The Beaten Track”
We enjoyed our stay here. Our rom was adequate, clean and had its own balcony overlooking the valley. The road upto Sagada is very challenging, with road slip and rock falls and muddy sections it was a challenging drive. Lucky it was the dry season, not sure how passable the road would be in the wet season.

The best accommodation in Sagada, but.....”
Since I have a 11 year-old and a 14 year-old children, I used a room with two double-beds. It was more expensive than the two double rooms of other guesthouses nearby. I think the reason it is rated as the best is that there is no decent accommodations in Sagada. Not bad, but do not expect too much.

Good place to stay to explore Sagada”
The location was perfect (two buildings away from Tourist Info Center), the food they serve was excellent, the exhibits inside the inn was interesting, and the staffs are really accommodating. My concerns cover small things that can be forgiven depending on one's level of comfort such as: inadequate toiletries (soap and shampoo only, must ask for extra), thin towels, undependable water heater.

Not much more to be said about Masferre. It's been here a while, the staff is helpful and welcoming, the food in the restaurant was good. For the price, it was acceptable and worthwhile.

Friendly Staff, Ordinary but clean rooms, good foo”
Given that we are travelling with 2 small children, comfort and cleanliness of the accommodations is a must. The rooms at this inn are very basic but clean and well maintained. Only problem is that their hot water heaters are not exactly working properly. The staff were kind enough to let us use the bathroom of the room that has a decent working heater. Just imagine if the inn was fully booked, my children would've gotten sick bathing in ice cold water! The kind and friendly staff compensated for the lack of water heater. Thanks to Pablo and his girls. :-)

Cozy, but a little bit overpriced”
It's the nicest inn in town, central to all attractions, has really delicious breakfast and hot shower. On the con side: wi-fi works if slowly and painfully only in the lobby, the shower volume is pathetic - a couple of drops at the time so it takes ages, pretty cold at night and no warm sheets provided, lunch or dinner at the restaurant is nothing like breakfast - go elsewhere, the staff took ages to help when asked. All in all - stay there, but don't expect fireworks.

Our 2 nights stay here is great! The room is good enough for 4 adults and 2 kids. Our booking comes with free breakfast and I can say that they were generous enough on their servings plus the foods are really yummy. My son enjoyed their free wifi especially at their resto. Also, how can I forget how nice their staffs are!! 😊 They are so kind and was able to satisfy all our request! I will definitely recommend Masferré to my friends and will surely consider this on our next visit!!

Cheap, basic room but great staff and location”
The room are very basic, but this is normal in that price range. Rooms have shower/toilet and sink. There is a bed with one small table. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was OK (you can choose you style of breakfast). Location is perfect as you are in the centre and very near of everything. To recommend!

Poor value”
We have spent five weeks in the Philippines in a variety of accommodation and Masferre Inn wins our prize for worst value. Although the place is centrally located close to the Jeepney/bus stop and tourist office, the two rooms we saw were poorly maintained and not clean. Not sure what the positive comments about the view on this site are about - the first room (basement) we saw had no balcony and a view of a rubbish tip, and when we were moved to a second room it offered a view of a very large building nearby. They were renovating the reception /dining area when we visited so hopefully the rooms are next. The staff were cheerful and helpful enough when you could find them. On the positive side the restaurant was fine. We found that the inn mainly caters to tour groups so independent travellers are not well served. If we had not paid in advance we would not have stayed.

The location is great. Just a short walking distance from the bus stop. Our room is clean and spacious enough for us two.Staff are accommodating. The only downside is that there was no internet connection at all during our stay. We even highlighted it to the staff but they didn't get back to us.
