Good value and service away from the noise”
If you're looking for a business travel-oriented hotel away from the noise and chaos of the backpacker's zone this hotel is a good choice. The room I chose was spacious, clean, and modern. Staff were attentive, helpful, and spoke English. Reception/access is 24 hour, unlike a lot of budget hotels in HCMC. They also offer scooter rental for 180k/day, which is a nice bonus for those of you willing to brave the insanity of Saigon traffic! Compared to other hotels I've stayed at in HCMC this one is definitely among the best in its class.

Good location clean and good bed. Rooms are quite small tough and had to change room 2 times as 1 was smelling tobacco and the other had issue wirh thecars system. The staff managed quite well and got upgraded to a larger room which was simple and ok.

The Hotel is very tidy, new and clean, its comfortable with good food at a good price, it is located in District 3 so unless you have a reason to be in that district it would not suit some, if you need to be in district 3 then its good value. the staff don't talk much English but try to help this can be overcome as everything in the hotel is in Vietnamese and English. I would stay there again

Reasonable priced hotel in a rather business district. Reasonable stay. ”
Booked 1 night but stayed 5. Basic, clean enough accommodation if you want to stay in the area. The small street food looking restaurant I imagined would be well priced, but pretty sure they ripped me off and over charged since prices weren’t listed. $8usd for some oily green beans and some fried rolls just seems way too much for a small out door restaurant. Ready to get your haggle on for while traveling this particular country🙄

The reception area was under construction when we arrived. The hotel should have informed me of this before I arrived. We showed up and were bombarded by the staff on the street outside the grab car for our booking confirmation and passports. It was really unprofessional.

Pros: Good location. Cons: First got room of lower type with heavy smell of mold. After complain got correct room. It had smell of mold in bathroom. Sound proof is bad. Loud nasty dog barking in the area.

A good quality, very reasonably priced hotel ”
We had a very good experience at Minh Khang Hotel. The location is good and we can easily access to the major tourist spots. The rooms are neat and clean. Comfortable beds, good air-conditioner, stable supply of hot water (though Vietnam is too hot in June that you do not need any hot water for shower) and free WIFI access in rooms. Nice breakfast (though when we were there, they serve non-Vietnamese breakfast including sandwiches, bacon and egg and Chinese soup noodles). The staff are particularly helpful and friendly. They always greet you with a big smile. It makes you feel like you are at home. If you are looking for a hotel with a good location, clean rooms, helpful and friendly staff and very reasonably priced, Minh Khang Hotel must be the place to go to. The price is very, very cheap and worthwhile given the location, services, the quality of rooms it offers. We will definitely stay in Minh Khang Hotel again when we go to Ho Chi Minh!

It was my last night in Ho Chi Minh City n I booked Minh Khang Hotel which was so nice. I booked deluxe room which has a nice view of the town and it closed to war museum and other attraction. The room was so large and nice and the staffs were very nice too. I love the food at their restaurant! This hotel is perfect for me. I would recommend every1 to stay there! :)

Modern and well-designed hotel in the centre”
The staff was incredibly professional, friendly and very good at English. I had looked for a long time to find a hotel that was perfect for a romantic stay for a European couple, and I was so excited when I found the photos for Minh Khang hotel on Agoda. First of all, the rooms are much bigger and brighter than most hotels in Saigon, and the design is minimalist with light colours. We had a balcony which was wonderful for bit of fresh air. The bathroom was very large and modern, and the room facilities exceeded our expectations with coffee/tea, safe, laundry service, wifi and daily cleaning. The hotel itself is in a very good location with 10min taxi ride to all the tourist spots but it is quiet and much more authentic than the expensive Dong Khoi or the brawling Bui Vien. Breakfast was included and had a limited, but very diverse menu of foreigner-friendly Vietnamese dishes. I have recommended this hotel to all my tourist friends who have visited Saigon, and I would definitely do the same to Agoda browsers. Excellent, excellent value for money.

Ho Chi Minh is a very busy city, The Minh Khang hotel was an oase of rest and peace for us.. The staff was very helpfull and friendly, the rooms were very new, modern and clean, the food and drinks in the restaurant were ok, you have to check out the massage and spa on the top floors of the building... enjoy your stay!

Minh Khang - Great spot in Saigon.”
Minh Khang is 1 district over from District 1.. its actually within walking distance of two huge parks, a bug shopping district with a fantastic multi-screen cinema, and the War Remnants Museum. If you dont feel like walking, Uber is active in Saigon, and can take you nearly anywhere for a couple of bucks. I think my ride to the airport was $2. The room at Minh Khang was clean, and orderly.. their laundry service made a shirt id long since given up on gleam like new. There is also an in house non-happy-ending massage place on the second floor. The restaraunt down stairs is cheap, and very tasty. Their Bo Luc Lac was some of the best I'd had in South Vietnam.

Great Stay and Service with a Smile”
We had a great stay at Minh Khang hotel. The staff were always friendly and helpful. After a couple of days, they recognized us and remembered our room number. They helped us book a few day trips outside the city and always willing to help call a taxi. The breakfasts were great! The food was always delicious and arrived fairly quickly. There was a good selection of food as well. Not a buffet, but still decent. The room was comfortable. It was clean and had everything that was needed. We enjoyed our stay there, the bed was good, the air conditioning worked. We had access to a TV and phone and bathroom amenities. A couple of things that were amiss: There was no safe in the room, the fridge worked but was missing a railing to hold items on the door and the shower is not separate from the toilet. We are used to it because we are currently living in Korea, but would have appreciated a separate shower. Overall, we were really happy with our stay.

Hotel is beyond expectation & friendly staff”
We feel that the hotel deserved more than 3 stars rating. The room is way beyond our expectation; it is clean, nicely designed, comfortable. Staffs are friendly although some receptionists still need to speak more in English; they had tried their level best to assist us. They never forgot to smile. The location of the hotel is strategically situated in this part of the city where it is not crowded with activities but near enough to the major spot where all shops is located. It was such amazing experience although it was just a short transit stay in Minh Khang Hotel, Saigon. We highly recommend this hotel to all the travelers out there.
