Hotel is really nice & clean. Great facilities with a good breakfast spread, beach bar & pool. However, I was really unimpressed with how the reception staff handled a billing mistake during my stay. After I had checked in and paid, the receptionist realised she had forgotten to charge me an extra fee for my room upgrade. Instead of addressing this professionally at checkout, she tracked me down at the hotel beach bar with a card machine in hand, insisting I pay on the spot. Frankly, it was embarrassing and made me feel like I was being treated as if I was trying to avoid payment, even though the mistake was on her end. This was not the level of service I expect from this hotel, and it completely disrupted what was supposed to be a relaxing evening. Mistakes can happen, but there is no excuse for making a guest feel uncomfortable and singled out in public because of staff oversight. I strongly recommend that the hotel train its staff on guest relations and handling billing errors professionally, so guests aren’t made to feel uncomfortable.

I have a low evaluation of the service provided by your bellmen; they are not flexible in assisting guests with small children. My family was also not offered a welcome drink upon check-in at Movenpick Village & Apartments, which I find very disappointing. However, I was very satisfied with the service at the fishing village restaurant; the attitudes of the staff: Tra, Trang, Quynh, Nhi, were very professional, cheerful, and enthusiastic with my family.

We are from Australia and recently traveled to Phu Quoc for a short holiday, staying three nights from Friday, 6th December to Monday, 9th December. We highly recommend this resort for families with children. It offers safe swimming pools, a beach, and both heaps of indoor and outdoor playgrounds for kids. We initially checked into the residences but found ourselves in the same wing as a large group. Concerned about privacy and our children’s safety, we raised our concerns with the hotel management. They kindly upgraded us to a villa, providing us with the privacy and quiet we needed to enjoy quality time as a family. A special thanks to Phu, the Guest Relations Manager, for ensuring our stay was pleasant. The staff were friendly, and the service was excellent. The morning buffet was a highlight, offering plenty of options, and the complimentary daily chocolate party at 3 PM was a delightful treat. For airport transfers, it’s best to book in advance. Alternatively, the taxi ride from the airport to the resort costs approximately 20 AUD. Thank you for an amazing trip ❤️.
Location is closer to the aquarium and zoo up north but only a 15mins ride to the bustling night market (free round-trip shuttle service every night), around 30mins ride to the airport (free shuttle service). Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. The chocolate hour every afternoon is our favorite. Got 2 pools at the Residence and Main building, direct access to their private beach is exceptional.

Traveled with a family of 9 (elderly to young) we really enjoyed our stay at Movenpick Residences and Villas. It was much quieter than waverly, easier to move around the hotel as it’s not a long walk. The rooms at residences was spacious, clean and the breakfast was so well thought out and a really good fresh spread…for vegetarians and vegans as-well. It was all very clean and appreciate the service we received during our stay. Both hotels have an awesome 330pm chocolate party where both kids and adults indulged! Additionally from the residences there are ready to go buggys to take you to Waverly to enjoy the beach and the other pool and dine at Islander and its not far. We booked the sea view whilst yes beautiful, you dont really see the sea and if that is what you are looking for then book seaview at waverly not at the residences…cause there its more pool view and the seaa is somewhere quite the distance away from you. Due to language barrier it can be difficult to communicate but get the google translate app and you should find it easier to communicate with the team there. Additionally I did email them in advance sharing the pax (3 elderly and 1 child), they were thoughtful to keep us altogether on 1 floor and near one another. It is about 15mins drive to Vin Wonder, Vin Safari, Grandworld market. It is 24 mins to long beach area, 34 mins to airport and about 45 mins to sunworld. If you are staying at the hotel it is difficult to walk out to the shops and there are none nearby other than a mart which is well stocked. Otherwise use GRAB, you can order a ride, food etc.
