The staff are all good english speakers. They were very helpful because when we arrived my son has a high fever. They helped me call a doctor to come to the hotel. We had to leave for Amsterdam for 4 days then had to come back to Paris and stay at Newhotel Lafayette again they were so accodamating as to safekeep some of our luggages.

Hotel is located near galleries lafayette about 10 mins walk. Staff was helpful throughout. Breakfast was french style. Room was clean and spacious. Definitely would come back when im in paris.

hotel close to Opera House and Lafayett”
hotel room is pretty small, but i think i cannot expect too much at this price. location: 15 min easy walk from opera house and Lafayett, can walk there if you take Roissy bus from airport even though we have a few luggage and a child in a buggy. quite a number of restaurants around and you can find a small carrefour and franpix (supermarkets) nearby. wifi was not working when we arrived but i managed to use it that night.

I travelled to paris with my parents. Booked 2 deluxe rooms. Overall i'd say we had a very nice and enjoyable stay at the hotel. The rooms are clean, the pillows are nice to sleep in, the toilets are super clean, breakfast is okay. The only downside is the size of the room. It's pretty small. U can barely move about. Anyways, this staff who created an impact on our stay was Thamila. She is a very friendly girl who would go all out to make sure u have a pleasant stay. She helped me and my parents look for halal restaurants and even guided us around (giving us directions on the map). Paris has been amazing! Thank u thamila!

This is a small hotel tucked between several other hotels and we found it very pleasant. It's definitely smaller and a little older inside but the check-in was great, the staff very pleasant, and overall quite nice. Our room (unsure if it is typical) was a decent size, nice layout, and generally nice amenities. We had a slight issue with the tv (who goes to Paris for the tv?) but the staff were so sweet and responsive and fixed it. The hotel has great character but if you are looking for fancy, modern luxury this probably isn't it. We definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Good hotel with reasonable price”
At first me were placed into the horrible crazy small room with no windows and a hole in the wall. After a little chat to a manager we were relocated to a lovely room on 3rd floor with a street view and more living space. The location of the hotel is pretty good regarding 3 starts category, you'll be able to reach most of the right-bank locations by foot. The metro station is about 350 meters from the site. Hotel employees are friendly and pleasant to talk with. Tip for the hotel management: accommodate first time guests to normal rooms, not shitty ones, that way you'll have more of them stay in Newhotel next time they visit the city. (Food rating is unrelevant in the review because we haven't eaten at the hotel.)

We had a pleasant stay at the hotel for 8 nights. Staff was attentive and welcomed us upon check-in. Gave suggestions on airport shuttle and gave us basic information on how to get around in Paris. Overall a comfortable stay in the hotel. Location of the hotel is centralised with 3 Metro stations nearby within walking distance. Nearby supermarket available and bars available. (carrefour express, monoprix and fran prix)

I stayed in Newhotel Lafayette for one night and two days! The hotel is located near Cadet metro station with which you can directly go to the city centre and tourist spots such as Louvre or Notre Dame. It took less than 20 minutes from the hotel to the Mare district. Staffs were also friendly! Things you might want to consider, booking a room in this hotel is the rooms are smaller than it looks from the photos and the bathrooms were quite old. It was clean and comfortable, the building itself is just a bit old.. Anyway, I would recommend it to my friends and relatives. Have fun and enjoy staying in Newhotel Lafayette!

The hotel is clean and quite near to 2 of the underground station and walking distance to Galary Lafayette. Staffs are friendly and allow us to left our luggage there for almost 10 days free of charge.

Good location. Basic amenities with hot water issues”
Convenient location, located 15 mins walk to Gare du Nord and not far from the main sites. Hotel is a bit old. Room is small as per most hotel rooms in Paris. Had issues with hot water (limited amounts of hot water or sometimes none at all), complained to the staff and got moved into a different room on a lower floor which had hot water. Bathroom comes with basic amenities only ie shower gel and shampoo so best to bring your own. No slippers, shower caps or anything like that. Breakfast is simple but ok. Overall good to stay there for the location as it’s pretty close to public transport and the main sites. Also close to Galeries lafayette and Printemps.

Pros: good location (near subway, walking distance to Opera and Galleries Lafayette), easy to find the restaurants nearby Cons: The room is small, after put our luggage on the floor, it's hard to walk inside the room. We got two twin beds that combined together, when you have a little moving on the bed, the bed will moving as there's wheels below the bed. We need to align the bed all the times.

We had a triple room. The size of the room is good. The hotel is located at a good location. It's 20 mins walk from Gare Du Nord which is useful especially when the Metro is not working. It is also walking distance to Gallerie La Fayette, Montmartre and Louvre. All in less than 30 mins walk at leisurely speed. Lots of small restaurants around the hotel. And feel safe walking to the hotel at night. We did not take the breakfast, but there are many bakeries around the hotel and a convenience store Carrefour less than 2 mins walk from the hotel. If the metro is not working, there are many buses that stops around the hotel. The front desk are very helpful and gave us useful info on where to take the bus as the metro was on strike. Overall, will stay here again.

Cozy and clean hotel”
The hotel is near to Metro, but not directly to Gare nu du Nord Metro. Must change bus to there. It is 10-15 mins walk to Galeries Lafayette. Can find a lot restaurants nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. Just wonder why hotel has shuttle bus to airport, but email us to take metro and bus from airport to hotel. It is very difficult to find the hotel by bus at evening......... Hopefully the hotel has bread toaster so we can toast bread for breakfast.....

Overall, the hotel was ok though it had very small rooms even their junior suite. But then again, all hotel rooms are small in Paris. The hotel was easy to find and is near the center of Paris. Just a few minutes walk from the metro station. The staff was friendly especially the guy on duty during the afternoon. One concern though was the dryer in bathroom wasn't working and the shower didnt have any door. I dont know if that's really how it is but the water spills on the floor because of that.

Good Location, Fair Service”
Hotel is very close to Cadet metro station which makes it easy to travel everywhere. Kader at reception was friendly; Upon arrival, he organised early check-in for us at around 12. Nice breakfast with good variety and helpful staff. I don’t think that rooms were vacuumed or mopped daily as hair and dust was everywhere. Shower was mouldy. They ask to hang towels if you don’t want new ones, but ours were changed every day regardless. Then every time they left us an odd set of towels; one day bath mat was missing, one day no hand towel was left and so on. Air-con didn’t cool the room for 4 days. Last day of our stay, they finally offered room move and as it was too late for us to pack and unpack again, the AHM, Hicham gave us a bottle of champagne and free city tax to compensate. After all, you get a fair service for what you pay. Remember, if you’re unhappy with something, keep following up before it gets too late to resolve.

The hotel is located in the center and very near to the main shopping street of Reykjavík. The room is very adequate with personal sink, cloth hangers, and fluffy bed. Shared bathrooms were clean, staff were nice and welcoming. A recommended hotel if you visit Reykjavík.
