Amazing”
This hotel and Ngapali Beach has to be on your bucket list. I strongly recommend to splurge on a beach front villa as it has direct beach access and views and also your own private pool. This would have to be the best holiday that we have had, and we have visited many Asian beaches in the past. Ngapali Beach is going through a construction boom with many more hotels and resorts under construction so my recommendation is to visit within in the next couple of years before this hidden secrete becomes common knowledge and is inundated with thousands of visitors. The hotel is very private and exclusive and the Staff and facilities are amazing, so treat yourself to a holiday of a life time at Ngapali Bay Villas and Spa.

Wonderfful get-away at Ngapali Beach”
My husband and I live in Yangon and go to Ngapali Beach about twice a year, and we found a great deal on this place in the off-season and decided to try it out. We loved it! We had a view of the beach across a little lawn area, and had our own swimming pool in front of the free-standing, little villa. The food was incredible - highly recommend the restaurant. Their main restaurant was being worked on in preparation for the actual "season" (we were there at the end of the rainy season), but they accommodated our orders and had another space in a small cafe by the bigger pool. The staff were lovely - friendly and helpful. The spa was . . . OK. I'm not sure if the massage people were new, or temporary because it was the off season, but a little more training would be good. We really loved our time there and would go again.

Could be a gem BUT...”
New and small-sized hotel with tastefully-decorated rooms and a nice communal areas, especially the restaurant terrace facing the beach. Could have been a top hotel but for the main road running close behind: there is only a narrow strip of land between the beach and the road so the bungalows, though beautiful, feel cramped and don't offer the privacy you would expect for such an hotel. In fairness this is a problem common to almost all hotel along Ngapali beach. Even if we had supposedly a Beach View villa, the sound of the waves was covered by road traffic and we had to keep curtains closed most of the time for privacy as bungalows in front and gardeners would have a clear view. Very good breakfast but surprisingly limited and pricey dinner menu. You'll much better off walking down the beach to a local beach restaurant.

Best Beach Vacation in Asia”
This location is a quiet respite on one of the most beautiful beaches we've seen in S.E. Asia. Sand in fine-grain, beach chairs are reserved for you with your room. Beach side food and beverage service available. The plunge pool with ocean view was outstanding. Service is complete with round trip transport from small Ngapali airport. This was the most relaxing holiday we've had in a while. I highly recommend!

an amazing place to stay ”
We stayed here for three days at the end of two weeks cycling tour of Burma. What a great choice. From the minute we arrived at the airport to the minute we left we were very well looked after. The rooms are just stunning - the photos don't do them justice. They are huge, and stylish and very well finished. The resort is beautifully designed so that each villas has a sea view from a massive picture window but you don't feel aware of your neighbours. The rooms are cleaned twice a day - the bathrooms are a real treat, with lovely robes, and bath products. The big hit for us was the food at the restaurant - we'd spent two weeks eating some pretty hit and miss food and were craving decent flavours. The breakfast and a la carte menus were both spot on - varied, well cooked and presented. A real treat.

Great new beach resort.”
A very attractive and comfortable new beach resort. Not to big (32 rooms - all villas),well appointed and overlooking a great stretch of beach. The staff is very attentive and friendly and all speak excellent english. The only negative is the furniture which, while very good to look at, is equipped with sharp, jutting corners on which everyone sooner or later bruise their legs. Very uncomfortable! This applies to beds in the room, seating arrangement in the lobby,etc. The kitchen needs work - food is so-so, but there are plenty of small local restaurants in the vicinity.

Wonderful Hotel”
The hotel has a great position on this wonderful beach. Hotel website photos are a true reflection of the place. We had a pool bungalow - room spacious and pool was a reasonable size. The hotel was full during our visit despite it being pretty expensive by Myanmar standards. Food is good although the evening dining menu doesn't seem to change and is rather limited. However, there are some really good alternatives within walking distance that offer great seafood etc and competitive prices.

Beautiful well appointed rooms in ideal setting.”
Our stay was amazing and we extended by 2 days. The hotel manager, Uli,was amazingly attentive and helpful. A few teething problems as it has been only opened a year were diminished by the attention and care we were given. Not too many rooms for the size of the grounds which gave a lovely uncrowded feel. We staying in 2 room categories. One more expensive, 3 seconds walk down to the beach and the second category a little further back with pool and smaller room. Pool room not necessary as the sea is divine to swim in but this category was also a little cheaper. Breakfast buffet could look a little more generous but again what an amazing setting for the restaurant, overlooking the beach. All in all we loved every minute and will go back.

A world class retreat located on a pristine beach ”
Better than we imagined......after a few days of touring the wonders of Myanmar this was the way to finish the vacation...a small number of individual villas clustered around an uncrowded beach with perfect weather....quiet & unhurried atmosphere within easy walking distance from dozens of small local restaurants both on the street and on the sand as well as other resorts close by .....well worth the money for the quality & high standards of accommodations and service..... get there before it's really discovered

There is a litte renovation going on but will be finished soon and no bother to anyone. But will give ocean front dining when completed. The staff and GM are very friendly. And the spa is also great! Lush tropical gardens and some villas with a private plunge pool make for a very relaxing vacation.

FIVE DAYS”
We spent 5 days here during the low season and it was very pleasant. Obviously the resort was not full so was not so vibrant but we wanted to relax anyway. Breakfast was very good with an A La Carte selection which covered a variety of foods. Dinner and Evening meal menu was limited so we only ate lunch there twice and dinner once. However there are good seafood restaurants within easy walking distance of the resort. Well priced and great quality of food in these places. Staff were excellent from airport pick up to departure at the airport. Even helped us with the check in for the flight. Villas are spacious and clean and cant complain about any of the staff. Always greeted with a smile and a pleasant Mingalabar. Will go back there in peak season to see the place full. As an experienced traveler would recommend this to solo, family or couples travelling.

This is not what I expected”
We stayed there for two days in June. It was rainy season so that we did not expect too much fun at the beach but we wanted to stay in and just chilled. The breakfast was bad, since there were not much guest, they did not prepare enough food and we were disappointed. The plunge pool was not clean and the staffs seemed not friendly. The room was quite okay but the electricity went on and off and aslo the wifi signal. I had stayed at Hilton Ngapali and also Sandoway and Thande beach resort before. I prefer all three of them next time than Ngapali Bay.

This was our third visit to this beautiful hotel. Rooms (villas) are fabulous. One very pleasant suprise was much improved food. Breakfast selection is now excellent and lunch and dinner menu very tempting.

Could have been perfect, but....”
The view and villa were both amazing, however it's lacking something's we wish we knew before booking. We very much needed a sitting area outside the villa - there's so much space but nowhere to sit and watch the view or relax after coming back from the beach. Also there's a sitting area inside the villa but no table? The swimming pool is a joke. It's hidden behind all the villas and it's not inviting whatsoever. The staff at breakfast are very sweet but they are lacking English skills which at times was confusing. The quality and variety of breakfast is great, though the waiting time is too long and on several occasions we found dirt in the salad, plus the coffee was not anything near hot - small but unacceptable things for this hotel standard. Also the internet is a complete disaster, not like anywhere in Myanmar but worse. It simpelt didn't work and again it's a small thing but something you expect to work when you pay so much per night. There's a manager who is supposed to be helpful, but on few occasions we experienced that he forgot out requests and we had to reminds him to follow up and also when we asked him to pass a message to the house keeping he forgot? All in all it's a beautiful hotel where you have a lot of privacy which is great. But you're definitely paying for way more than you get and that's why we won't stay here again next time.

Paradise in Myanmar”
This hotel is simply a cut above the rest. The location is wonderful and the beach is glorious. The restaurant is amazing and the food exceptional. But the best thing of all are the staff. They are simply wonderful and couldn't have done more to make our stay a very memorable one
